Absolutely ruined our date night. The location and atmosphere was acceptable at the start, however, appetiser took ages to arrive. Main course took 45 mins to arrive, and when it did, one of our 2 orders was incorrect. We immediately made the waiter aware the order was wrong. Given this less than ideal service, we decided not to pay the 10% service charge and still pay the full price of the wrong main course delivered. To our surprise, the restaurant supervisor ran us down after we left cash for the bill, minus the service charge. We felt embarrassed as it was 2 staff that chased us, querying why we didn’t pay the service charge. This is totally unacceptable for a 5 star hotel and for the price of the meals there. I would not recommend it at all.

Speed of service was a bit slow and my family and I felt overlooked as we were waiting a while for someone to tend to us. Felt as if they were catering to the other guests who came well after us. Food was AMAZING though which made up for it. Plantation Pizza, Chicken Cesear Salad (served kind of warm) were great for lunch. Then we also went back and tried their Happy Hour menu which starts from 5-7 pm. Chicken wings with sauce on the side were amazing, loaded fries, etc. I also enjoyed the outside ambiance and how everything was set up. Restrooms could use some more attention because soap was running low and the hand dryer did not work not were there any paper towels or napkins. Will definitely visit again.

Lovely hotel, in perfect location. Calm and peaceful yet only a short stroll to all the cafes and restaurants and steps to the best beaches on the island. Staff are always welcoming and smiling. Rooms are big and light, clean and modern.

The photos don't do this place justice I returned this weekend just to enjoy the peace and tranquility. An entire hard working team made me feel like a special guest and I really appreciated the service from reception. It's the reason I decided to book in. The grass carpeted garb is shaded by leafy trees I enjoyed droping into the pool as well as floating off into the ocean. Definitely 5 starts. Come visit even if its a time of covid.

One of the best hotels we have stayed in in the Caribbean. Everything about this place is amazing: the staff, rooms, location and amenities. To start with, our room was beautifully decorated by the house keeping team with fresh local hibiscus flowers in our towels. Would highly recommend the villas, which are huge and well-equipped. The restaurant could get quite busy at night as lots of outside visitors come to dine but the service was impeccable given how busy they are. Gaby in particular and the rest of the staff were attentive, warm and very helpful. The location of this hotel is right on the beach and there is a jetty in front of the hotel. This made it very easy for us to do boat trips anywhere. Would highly recommend Plantation Hotel, we will be back for sure!

Just returned from a wonderful vacation in Bequia. I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. They are very accommodating with schedules. Staff are wonderful from the front desk help to the restaurant and bar wait staff, grounds crew and housekeeping. I had a wonderful massage at the spa. I’ve got to give a big heartfelt shout out to Dimitri. Dimitri is a kind of employ every businessperson would love to have. He’s always smiling, has a positive attitude and is willing to do whatever is needed to help out. I witnessed him planting, keeping the pool and pool area clean, waiting on pool guests, washing dishes in the bar, carrying luggage and other things. Most importantly to me, he noticed I was struggling in the water as I was snorkeling. Out of nowhere, he arrived in a dinghy to help me. He did an excellent job talking to me about breathing to calm me down, patiently waiting as I regained my strength, and then helped me into the dinghy to return me to the beach. I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting in Bequia. When there, give Dimitri a hug from me😎

What a beautiful place! We were in a beach suite, friends in villas, and all very well maintained along with the landscaping, beach front. View fantastic, staff most welcoming and friendly, restaurant food options very good. Walking distance to restaurants.

We didn’t stay here but we did eat at the beach restaurant. It was nice. Quite with great views. I had the fish and chips and my wife had the pulled pork pizza.

We stayed the first week in February for the Music Fest. This is the third time we have been to the Plantation House, our other two trips were pre COVID. We did experience changes this year, the rooms are just beautiful as is the setting and perfectly placed on the beach with a short walk into town. However, we experienced a number of cruise ships now coming in to the island and Plantation House are allowing the guests off the ships to take sun beds. The beauty of this hotel is the quaintness and quiet location. This changed everything for us which is hugely disappointing as it was the jewel in the crown in the Caribbean.

This place is amazing, the beach is stunning, food is good. People really friendly especially Merlene a lovely waitress. A walk over the hill is Princess Margaret's beach. Great place is Bequai

Beautiful, quiet, oceanfront resort location near the Port and ferry. Within walking distance to Beautiful Princess Margaret Beach. The staff is very polite and attentive. Water excursion boats can pick you up from the private dock.

Recently returned from staying 2 weeks at the Plantation Hotel. After visiting Bequia for a day earlier in the year we knew we wanted to return and stay at this hotel. It did not disappoint and what we liked was that it was low season and therefore extremely quiet. We went because we wanted to drop & flop from the every day and it’s exactly what you can achieve here. Our room was perfect and from the minute we arrived the welcome from the staff and service throughout our stay was amazing. Even the owner is hands on to make sure all her guests are enjoying their stay. The re investment, care and attention to detail into the hotel is evident and it’s unlike the majority of other Caribbean hotels. If you want entertainment and crowds this place is not for you though it does get busy in high season. It exceeded our expectations and was perfect for us. Plantation Hotel you’ve set the bar now and we can’t wait to return. Thank you to the hardworking team and we hope to visit some of the other resorts in their portfolio.

Stayed here in May of 2023 when it was very quiet. Spent over £500 on a room and the service received from the bar staff was unprofessional and made us feel very uncomfortable. We were unimpressed with the service received at dinner so I sent an email to the supervisor providing feedback to help improve their service as I didn’t want to leave a bad review. The bar supervisor apologised, however the remainder of our trip meant we were victimised by a certain employee, because she did not like our feedback. She would refuse to serve us, she would openly speak about us to other colleagues when we were around, I was even walking past with my baby and the looks and behaviour she demonstrated towards me was nothing less than intimidating. I genuinely wanted to end my trip earlier as I did not feel safe being around her. We spoke to the supervisor several times about this employees behaviour however there were no changes, and no apology from said employee. I think it’s disgusting that they allow employees to intimidate their guests and I for one will not be returning to the establishment. I’m very disappointed that management did nothing to follow up on our complaint and it shows that customer satisfaction really isn’t at the heart of their business.

This place is literally on the beach. It's very well maintained and the staff is pretty friendly. They charge $55 USD to get a few drinks, lunch, dessert and hang out in the pool. The food was fairly decent.

So the name "Plantation" kept me away. Didn't like what it symbolises. But it is a lovely hotel. Of course the rooms with the balcony that allow you to see the sunset are special. The food at the restaurant is good. The bar tender awesome.

our first time having lunch, we saw their FB post about their sunday bbq. we went there today, truly disappointing. service was non-existence. we sat there waiting for the buffet to be ready (took over 40 mins from their scheduled lunch hours of 12-4) and had to grab staff attention to get drinks. Told them we were there for their sunday bbq but not given any menu nor explanation. Had to ask twice when the buffet would be ready instead of being notified. When it was ready, only the chicken and ribs were cooked and fish was not. Since we were not made aware of the menu nor restrictions of only one round and only 2 choices of meat are allowed, we couldn’t get the fish which was not ready when we went to get the first round. Food is mediocre for the quantity and lack of service with higher the other restaurants price tag. We will not be back.

We have been here for a week and all the staff have been great!! Our room looks through the palm trees to the ocean. The restaurant is good and we are in the best possible location. The walk to town is not too long and there are a lot of restaurants along the beachfront walk. We love this island and our home away from home. 🌴 🏝

Top notch service. Amazing location and environment. Very professional staff. They do morning pastry deliveries to anchor yachts. They have a 2 hr happy that is very reasonable. I really like this place. Movie nights too!!!

This was our second visit to The Plantation Hotel, and we were not disappointed. We had one of the Beach Suite rooms and it was a very comfortable, large spacious room and walk in cupboard and modern up to date bathroom. Staff are very helpful, and always smiling! No mosquito nets so take your own! Lovely position, and plenty to watch from sun bed in the private gardens, with yachts coming and going in the Bay. Hoping to return next year!

The service was extremely unfriendly and ignorant. We waited for over 1 hour to get some pizzas for the kids. Pizzas were far from good, prize completely over the top. Even though the prizes were shown in ECD, the bill was in USD with a bad conversion rate. Can not recommend it.

We stopped by for a drink and some food. The food was good, the view stunning! A member of staff we dealt with wasn't so helpful, but the duty manager was lovely

The stay here is always amazing!! We did a mother/daughter trip and just relaxed and enjoyed the beach and cocktails. The staff is out of this world and make you feel like family.

Lovely hotel, lovely grounds. The veranda of the main hotel is broad and has comfortable seating areas that overlook a green lawn with palm trees and the ocean beyond. The nearby open-air restaurant is right on the water, with wonderful views of the harbor. A great place to kick back and relax. The town itself is a 10-minute walk along the water. Be prepared to get wet shoes as the waves occasionally wash over the narrow walkway. Dinner food is good but expensive – but not markedly more so than elsewhere. Staff is fun and incredibly attentive. We paid $166 a night including breakfast – great value.

First, they said happy hour was over even though it was 30 minutes before it ended. Also, the portions were incredibly small and very expensive. I have eaten at many restaurants on the island and every single one has much bigger portions of equal or better quality at a fraction of the price. I strongly recommend any other restaurant, complete disappointment, I feel ripped off.

We needed a getaway and this place provided just that. It being low season we felt like we had the place to ourselves which was actually very nice... just like their service :)

Nice restaurant. Friendly service from drinks to food and a conveniently located swimming pool. Easy access to beach and safe sea bathing alongside the adjacent jetty. Cool and shady parking.

👍 We attended this place in November 2021 and really enjoyed the experience. The view was lovely and the restaurant is in the ideal place to watch the soothing water. 😐 Beautiful environment and friendly service are the top attractions for this hotel. The swell on the beach makes it difficult to swim if not impossible. The beach side bar and restaurant are very over priced. $5 USD for a beer that’s double the normal price.
