This place is insane!!!! It's a trek from town but worth it. If you don't have a car, just take the $1 vans :) it was an adventure for sure. It's $5EC and beautiful bathrooms available at top of the steps. Take the steps down to the oasis that awaits. A gorgeous natural wonder!!!! Bring bathingsuit and snorkel gear!! A must visit. And the town and people of Owia are very very nice.

Beautiful place hidden at the end of the island. Natural salt pools next to the sea with lots of wildlife. $5EC each person to enter. Definitely worth the visit if you managed the drive up to here 😜

It was refreshing to visit again and see it reopened after a brief closure due to the volcanic eruption. It is well maintained. My visit was in the morning hours there was one local resident taking what she described as her regular health and wellness dip. I thought how fortunate she was to live next a natural Vincy wonder.

Beautiful spot. Protected salt pool, sheltered by rocky wall that keeps the heavy surf away. Impressive stairway down to the pool from the cliff above from a garden like picnic area.

Very beautiful place where you can swim in the water right next to the ocean. It's basically a giant pool filled with ocean water but it's blocked off by rocks. The park has facilities for changing/bathroom etc. Great place to come relax. It's a lot of stairs however so just be aware. Overall highly recommend. The views around the pool into the mountains are also stunning.

The pools were so relaxing and warm. Stunning views. A must see in St. Vincent. There is a place to eat a packed lunch, bathrooms and parking. The walk down the steps was not too difficult.

This place is such a beauty!! The volcanic rocks that around the pond makes this place look so unique! You can climb up the rocks, take in the scenery and you can even see the island of St Lucia from a distance. The Salt pond water is so blue and beautiful, water is not to cold, lovely to swim around.

200 steps down. So a climb back up. But well worth it. Spent a fair few hours there with 2 young children. Safe for them to get in clean clear water. Fish etc to see in the water. Sandy area to dig and play in too Definitely worth the trip.

Took a drive, did not have time for a dip. There were lots of stairs over 200, nice going down but not so much coming up. Beautiful, well maintained area to the top fitted with gazebos and picnic benches perfect for a day out. The pond has many rocks that you have to either walk on or pass to get to the deeper ponds. They are dangerously slippery. Will do back some time to experience the ponds but the drive was so scenic passing all the villages along the mountain side. Worth a trip.

Its unique. I like visiting whenever I come to St Vincent. It's like your private salt water pool in the sea and it attracts a lot of visitors and locals alike.

The Owia Salt Ponds are essentially volcanic rocks that formed a barrier and the sea water washes over parts of the rock. There's fishes in the pond for snorkeling. Most of the area is 4-7feet deep. The area is also unique because it has black sand from the volcanic eruptions that created the area. Absolutely beautiful and peaceful...
