Another
month,
another
new
“café”.
The
Good—
Ambiance.
The
layout
and
the
ambiance
makes
for
a
delightful
setting
while
you
enjoy
a
tea
or
other
beverage.
The
lemon
cake
is
one
of
the
best
I
have
had
in
Lyon.
Not
So
Good
—
The
coffee.
The
latte
I
had
was
average
at
best.
Nothing
at
all
screamed
at
you
that
this
was
a
quality
latte
that
warranted
a
specific
visit
to
this
establishment.
Like
many
coffee
shops
in
Lyon,
this
establishment
only
sources
their
beans
from
one
local
roaster
and
do
not
offer
anything
beyond
what
their
espresso
machine
is
capable
of,
i.e.,
no
filtered
options
that
I
found.
Verdict
—
Conflicted.
Again.
While
the
coffee
is
important
to
me,
the
masses
will
most
likely
overlook
the
quality
of
the
coffee
due
to
the
inviting
atmosphere
and
comfortable
space.
They
definitely
have
enough
offerings
to
delight
and
I
recommend
their
lemon
cake.
For
my
next
visit
to
this
location,
I
will
delve
into
their
other
options
and
avoid
the
coffee.
