    A total nightmare. Sent parcel from uk to Lyon. Tracking system said it was delivered, which it was most certainly was not. Have tried to find out where parcel is...... absolutely no one knows except Driver (he delivered it). But has anyone questioned him.....I doubt it.....no matter how many times you try to get a response from GLS it is to no use. Checked some of the other reviews and have discovered that my situation is not a one of. The only thing my son in France (he was the one I sent parcel to). can do is report the situation to the French police because I am beginning to suspect that fraud of some kind is going on. You cannot say a parcel was delivered when it was not. You cannot just take people’s property it is theft. It anyone who has has a similar situation I suggest they also report it.

    Terrible, this service doesn't worth a star. We bought a piano and the shop suggest we pay for this service so that we can choose the delivery time. BUT NO. They NEVER show up on the time we asked, I wasted the whole day staying at home waiting for them. Then they came on another day without informing us at all. Now one package is missing and on the tracking site it's written "delivered". It never arrived, we didn't even receive a call for the delivery of it. IT IS A LIE. We cannot contact the company. So unprofessional. I don't know how they can run business like this.

    I cannot say enough how awful this company is. I had two packages ship at the same time from the U.K. One arrived, with the driver ringing my bell at least 20 and being quite rude. The other is lost and no one can find it. Reading other reviews it seems they make a habit of this! The company I ordered from "started an investigation" with them and it took 10 days for them to respond with the online tracking info! The same info I can see! Completely unhelpful. The company is refusing to give me a refund until GLS confirms the package is lost. I have called GLS 3 times at a cost of 0.80€ per minute and each time they have very cavalierly told me the package was lost and to contact the expoditer. They are completely unhelpful and rude. In fact, she LAUGHED at me!!! Never in my life have I been treated this way. Avoid avoid avoid!!!!

    Two weeks after agreeing on a very precise date and time for a delivery (and making sure they had the right contact), I was left without any news for two weeks after the expected delivery date. So I call and they tell me that the package was sent back, without even telling me why or how I could get it delivered again. Thanks for nothing GLS. You owe me a (working) day of waiting and a phone call.

    Extremely bad service. I now had several times the experience that they don't show up at the agreed date or change the delivery date while sending a notification only a day after the agreed date. Currently the website seems to be blocked so I can't put in a new delivery date. It's practically impossible to reach someone by telephone. Every time - after a waiting time of about 5 minutes - the call gets disconnected. I'm furious!

    I am almost always home during the day, and even then, most packages get left with our concierge. But these guys managed to turn up when I happened to be out, had some problem with leaving it with the concierge, and ended up yelling at me, and my friend who speaks better French than I do, about not being able to deliver it. Am really not looking forward to coming face to face with thus horrible man when my package is eventually delivered...

    so I sent a parcel from italy two weeks ago and I'm still waiting for it! they came once to my flat but no one was there to pick it up fair enough it was my fault). After that, they've never come back to my flat to deliver the parcel. I tried to call them but the number seem to not exist. Does anyone have a valid number? I'm desperate

    They stole my package! I sent a shipment from Denmark to Lyon, France. The package was not delivered because of a lazy delivery guy and then the package tracking/history was suddenly ended and the package inactive in their system. An investigation was made and GLS Denmark refunded me the value a month later.

    Disaster. They never came to pick up the package. After they were finally reached on the phone, they said that they thought the package should be delivered, not picked up. Horror! Avoid!
