I
would
love
to
give
the
PIC
3.5
stars
if
I
could.
The
staff
are
SUPER
friendly
and
they
work
hard
to
make
the
evening
activities
fun
for
the
entire
family.
The
water
park
is
great
for
a
whole
afternoon
of
fun.
The
beach
area
is
small
but
the
water
is
calm+clean+clear
for
glass
bottom
kayaking,
paddle
boarding,
sailing
(guided)
or
snorkeling
—
though
there
is
lots
of
sea
grass
in
this
location
so
be
sure
to
visit
other
beaches.
The
1pm
or
2pm
checkout
times
(different
answers
given
to
our
group)
are
perfect
for
one
last
morning
at
the
pool,
eating
a
later
lunch,
and
heading
to
the
airport
for
an
afternoon
flight.
There
are
special
events
for
the
holidays
(like
Halloween
week
with
shows
and
contests)
so
be
sure
to
look
for
special
event
info
if
staying
around
a
holiday.
Not
all
rates
include
lunch,
dinner,
and
the
Flex
pass
to
visit
the
other
2
group
resorts’
pools
and
beach
—
another
family
in
our
group
told
us
their
discount
Expedia
booking
only
included
breakfast
and
could
not
be
upgraded
on-site
like
direct
bookings,
but
our
(double
their
price)
Expedia
booking
DID
include
the
coveted
Gold
card
package.
The
room
decor
and
fixtures
are
dated,
the
beds
are
firm,
and
the
swamp-cooler-style
A/C
left
some
feeling
hot
at
night
while
running
on
high
and
at
the
coldest
setting.
Pool
view
room
is
definitely
nicer
view
and
not
loud.
No
curtains
though,
just
wood
blinds,
in
case
you
have
issues
with
morning
light
bring
your
sleeping
mask!
The
mini
fridge
is
small
and
really
only
can
hold
the
plentiful
free
water
bottles
they
give
you
plus
a
few
beers
or
sodas
you
buy
in
the
hotel
(Travelr)
shop.
The
Magellan
Room
buffet
had
the
better
food
(our
opinion)
than
the
other
menu-based
options
and
it
(and
the
Pavilion
BBQ
night)
is
the
only
option
to
include
beer
and
wine
with
lunch
and
dinner.
Currently
there
are
nights
that
the
Magellan
is
closed
and
you
have
to
eat
elsewhere.
We
would
suggest
Seaside
Grill
and
eating
indoors
on
those
nights;
the
Japanese
Tepanyaki
restaurant
has
a
$15pp
surcharge
and
was
too
filled
with
grill
smoke
for
our
comfort.
On
Thursdays
the
only
option
is
the
outdoor
Korean
BBQ
night
at
the
Pavilion.
The
food
was
average
for
the
island
resorts
(our
opinion)
and
usually
had
options
that
pleased
everybody
in
our
group.
Pictures
of
the
activities
areas
are
from
around
11:30am,
and
only
the
main
pool
is
currently
open
until
after
lunch
when
most
options
become
available
until
5pm.
Hopefully
this
is
not
yet
back-to-normal
operations
and
hours
will
improve
as
visitors
from
Korea
and
Japan
return
in
full
this
winter
with
open
travel.
