I would love to give the PIC 3.5 stars if I could. The staff are SUPER friendly and they work hard to make the evening activities fun for the entire family. The water park is great for a whole afternoon of fun. The beach area is small but the water is calm+clean+clear for glass bottom kayaking, paddle boarding, sailing (guided) or snorkeling — though there is lots of sea grass in this location so be sure to visit other beaches. The 1pm or 2pm checkout times (different answers given to our group) are perfect for one last morning at the pool, eating a later lunch, and heading to the airport for an afternoon flight. There are special events for the holidays (like Halloween week with shows and contests) so be sure to look for special event info if staying around a holiday. Not all rates include lunch, dinner, and the Flex pass to visit the other 2 group resorts’ pools and beach — another family in our group told us their discount Expedia booking only included breakfast and could not be upgraded on-site like direct bookings, but our (double their price) Expedia booking DID include the coveted Gold card package. The room decor and fixtures are dated, the beds are firm, and the swamp-cooler-style A/C left some feeling hot at night while running on high and at the coldest setting. Pool view room is definitely nicer view and not loud. No curtains though, just wood blinds, in case you have issues with morning light bring your sleeping mask! The mini fridge is small and really only can hold the plentiful free water bottles they give you plus a few beers or sodas you buy in the hotel (Travelr) shop. The Magellan Room buffet had the better food (our opinion) than the other menu-based options and it (and the Pavilion BBQ night) is the only option to include beer and wine with lunch and dinner. Currently there are nights that the Magellan is closed and you have to eat elsewhere. We would suggest Seaside Grill and eating indoors on those nights; the Japanese Tepanyaki restaurant has a $15pp surcharge and was too filled with grill smoke for our comfort. On Thursdays the only option is the outdoor Korean BBQ night at the Pavilion. The food was average for the island resorts (our opinion) and usually had options that pleased everybody in our group. Pictures of the activities areas are from around 11:30am, and only the main pool is currently open until after lunch when most options become available until 5pm. Hopefully this is not yet back-to-normal operations and hours will improve as visitors from Korea and Japan return in full this winter with open travel.

From first impressions, it looks like a lovely place. Actually went to the Tennis courts there. Access is granted at the Front Desk. Very helpful staff. And a wonderful Tennis court facility.

Didn't stay here. But went for happy hour and the wonderful show by the pool Saturday night. Followed by a great fireworks show for Chinese New Year. Drinks were delicious. The pool looks really fun with slides and other water features for kids. Also has a lazy river. Maybe next trip we will stay here.

Was an excellent experience when I was there a few years back. We basically bar hopped from one bar to another within the resort, as they had rotating happy hours. The hotel staff probably hated us. Note: the water for the water slides are generally off by midnight. Do not drink excessively and do a running head-first dive onto the slide, bad things will happen. trust me.

The Magellan staff were very accomodating, even ushering us to our reserved table. Though just over an hour prior closing time yet the food were sumptuous and with various cuisine to select with. After an island tour, this is a place to be. It's a fun day with happier tummy.

I brought my daughter here with our family for her 13th birthday, and everyone had an amazing time. It was $45 each, and it included a buffet brunch that was incredible and also the water park in the back with a lazy river, a few water slides, a few pools, a surfing pool, kayaks on the beach. The view was amazing, and the staff were all so very nice and welcoming, whether it was a lifeguard or someone who worked with the food and drinks. We stayed all day, and my daughter felt like it was one of the best birthdays she had ever had. Our smallest family member was 1 year old, and the oldest was 62 years old. And there was something for everyone. At the brunch, the staff even came out with some cheesecake that said Happy Birthday and had my daughter's name, and they sang Happy Birthday to her. She acted embarrassed, but I know that she absolutely loved it 😊 This was our first time in Saipan visiting my brother and his wife (who grew up here) and their baby. And the day we went to PIC was definitely one to remember. Thank you to the amazing staff for a great experience and a great birthday for my daughter!

Was a great time, would have given 5 stars but a small bottle of water was 2.50 and other drinks were outrageous. This place gouges at every turn.

This place really shaped my childhood. What a spectacular place. Truly miss it and pray they still have the gong shows haha. Such a wonderful place for the family. Highly recommend for building memories. I dream of this place often. Frequent visitor 2002 - 2008

Highly friendly and kind staff. Moderately old rooms but not dirty. Not so good view toward the tennis court. The view was "construction view" in Dec. 2019. Nice restaurants. The seaside grill and the BBQ were great. The staff at the seaside grill was super kind. Thanks a lot. Good place to stay with especially kids. Highly recommended to families with kids.

PIC is the COVID-19 quarantine facility for CNMI. I was not exempted from quarantine as an essential worker (I work in the USDA food safety service). So I was unable to do the work I came here to do. The rooms are decent but Wi-Fi is limited to a single device. That and the awful food service is why the poor rating.

Staff was friendly and facilities were clean and maintained. Did not have a chance to visit the resturants, bar, gym, pools or beach. Hotel is used by local government as a 5 day quarantine hot. Locked down and not able to leave room until COVID test come back negative. Even convicts get an hour a day in the "yard"!

This was a decent resort, good place to stay but i wouldn't stay here again. If you are resident of Saipan the price is $99, it's you are a tourist your paying $250. The hours of the waterpark is really weird, the pool opens at 10 or 11am. But the slides open from 2pm to 5pm. Honestly, why go to a waterpark when you are on an island. Go out and enjoy the beach.

😐 Im pretty sure that the most of customers who visit here are Koreans. And they might know what is good korean food. Just all ima say is it’s a place where you have to pay 10$ for food worth 5-6$. Go look for other korean restaurant. Oh, but the server was very kind.
