A must visit if visiting Saipan. It displays the historical significance the island was for the U.S. to win the war (WWII). Extremely helpful staff.

You can also watch a 10-minute Korean video that explains the history of Saipan during World War II.

I was a little disappointed that I didn't do it every day. Open only Tuesday, Friday and Saturday I don't know why they aren't opening even though they have all the employees. ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ Too bad, too bad

A small but informative memorial museum with a lot of sad stories that are, in my opinion, important to know.  There is a 10 minute movie (the one we saw was in English with English subtitles, I don't know if they have other versions) that explains the post WW 1 history of the island along with the bloody battles and massive Japanese and civilian casualties from WW 2.  Be prepared to be sad. They have clean bathrooms. The gift shop has a decent selection of postcards, along with other National Parks "stuff", and they have international stamps too, which is very convenient.

The flower trees in the park are pretty and it's worth watching a 10-minute video inside the museum

We had a private tour that they scheduled. Such friendly people working there and had the place to ourselves. We called when we saw they were closed and they offered the private tour so we gladly accepted abs we’re glad we did!

A small island where so many young American heroes give all... a place where honour and sacrifice was normal. Embeded in history!

I loved this museum! It was really impressive and a great find for me. The area around was beautiful too. I learned a lot about World War II and how Saipan and Guam were involved. My only complaint is that it closed at 4:30, not 5. I arrived a bit too late to enjoy the full exhibit. I wish I had paid better attention to if those were winter hours though.

😐 A World war II historical place and may be a good place to take a exotic photo taking. Once it was an restaurant but abandoned again. Day time photo taking is OK, but, DO NOT go alone at night. There might be drunken bums.
