The Oudh remains one of my favourite indian cuisine restaurant of Delhi. It is not hyped too much as many others in the vicinity but it still never misses to live up to the standards of any taste amateur. I would dare not say connoisseurs.Try it out on my recommendation if you like rich Lucknawi food.My mouth waters even at the mention.

This is one of the best restaurant for Indian authentic cuisine. Love the taste and portion of the food. My family have taken both nonveg and veg foods options which consist prawn, mutton, naan, dal, musroom-palaak sabji. All of them were way beyond our expectations ( in a positive manner ofcourse). Added to it kulfi falooda of this place can give a tough competition to any star kulfi falooda hub of Delhi. The staffs there like Ramgopal and Manmohan are too careful and attentive towards guests. On a special note the chef Sanjay Dasari has a magic in his hand who has served food with enormous care n love & that's why all the foods get a remark "ungliya chat-te reh jaoge" . Thanks 'The Oudh' team for over all dinning experience .

ambiance of the restaurant is elegant and sophisticated, with a modern twist on traditional Indian decor. Customers have praised the quality of the food, with many stating that the flavors are rich and authentic. The portions are also generous, and the prices are reasonable for the quality of the food. The service is also highly rated, with staff being friendly and attentive. I noted that the restaurant can get quite busy, and it may be necessary to book in advance to secure a table. Overall, the Oudh restaurant is highly recommended for those looking for authentic Indian cuisine in a stylish and modern setting.

This place is beautiful.Donned with extremely elegant antiques, mughal period architecture amd grand statues you will surely be impressed by the ambience and the beauty of this place. It all royal and classy. We were warmly welcomed by the staffs and they were patient enough to explain the menu. For starters we placed an order for tohfa-e-noor,pudina kebab and lehsuni malai tikka along with Pepsi, virgin mojito and Jack Daniels 60 ml.I would highly recommend tohfa-e-noor and pudina kebab.Talki g about tohfa-e-noor it was all about loads of cheese and dry fruits.Never had something like this.Talking about lehsuni malai tikka it was not what you would normally think it to be.I thought it would have garlic flavour and have cream but it lacked in both the areas and the taste was not up to the mark as well. For main course we settled with chicken biryani, butter roti, paneer Hazrat mahal.Chicken biryani was a massive let down. The chicken was bland and clearly lacked in spices.Shahi tukda is what we ordered for dessert and I loved it.Highly recommend as well. All in all we got a bill of 8000 for 4 which I think is justified for the place and the experience but about the food I am not really sure if it's worth it.

The first time I visited here, a whole lot of a luxury Awadh theme restaurant. Loved the food here & it’s pretty decent in price for being a luxury 5 star hotel. The desserts were really delicious & it’s been a week & I can still taste all the dishes I ordered. Would love to visit there again.

The reviews are fake. Just sort newest and you will see reviews posted within minutes of each other. The naan was undercooked. The chicken tikka was uncooked too. The food was so pathetic.

Lucknow has always conjured up images of kebabs and immaculate hospitality. The predominance of Awadhi food over the Northern part of India is due to one of India's most famous gastronome, Nawab Wajid Ali Shah. A man whose love for food spawned an entire cuisine known for its delicate, subtle flavours. The courts of Nawab Wajid Ali have seen many a culinary spectacle. But witnessing those authentic flavours in the bustle of Delhi’s metropolis is rare indeed. The Oudh at The Ashok takes you back a few centuries with it’s extravagant ambiance. The Oudh is a walk back into the history pages with a wall picture of the Nawabs looking down on you. From the silver cutlery to the minutely hand crafted murals on the walls, The Oudh takes you back to the courts of Nawab Wajid Ali Shah. Even with the world fizzing by rapidly, The Oudh retains it’s old world charm with a Bar area for diners along with menus for guest. The live ghazals complete the authentic touch to the Awadhi ambience. The Oudh operates with a buffet for Lunch along with a lavish spread for Dinner.

Massive place so getting a table should not be a problem. The food is strictly ok, nothing great especially since the reviews raved about the food. The galawti kebabs were passable, smaller eateries serve better kebabs, the mutton biryani was nothing to write home about. Overall was disappointed with the food. Especially since we ordered based on the recommendations of the Maitre deHotel.
