Located 5 km from Gondia, Nagra Shiv Temple is dated back to 15th century and built in Hemadpanthi style. The word Nagra has been derived from Lord Nagraj. The outstanding structure of the temple is the specimen of brilliant architecture of ancient time. The temple has 16 pillars which are without any joint. It also believed that there is ground house under the temple. Main temple is with Shiva Linga and temple complex also houses other temples such as Devi Temple, Hanuman temple.

This temple is very ancient , almost 400-500 yeas back the temple was sculpted . The place is located 5-7 kms outside the city in a small village named NAGRA . The architecture of the temple is so brilliantly made , as the temple is standing only on 6 pillars without much support . The temple premises was renovated before 4 yrs , after renovation the ambience of place became magnificient . Two new temples were also added to the place . The premises is growing as many of people donated or contributed for the temple's development . The place was very nice and the temple was also nice . ❀️❀️

This is very ancient temple in the town and people queue during Mahashivratri to get a gloms of the shivling. The pind area was little small and can accommodate only few people at a time, I found few people sitting there and doing pooja during peak hours and made me wait for 10 mins to get darshan. This temple also has temple of Shree Hanuman & Shree Laxmi Narayan. It was really peaceful and we'll maintained. Has wash area for hand and legs, and toilets as well, No place to keep shoes. It has big open area to sit, relax and take some photos.
