The guy who manages this is very rude and arrogant, overall place was nice, you can spot few birds there, he charged 500 rs for 7 - 11 am session. Attached the pictures of few birds which I photographed there.

Great place to photograph uncommon birds like vernal hanging parrots, rose finch and crested bunting among others . Gaurav was quick in communication. He knows about birds and help you spot them — very helpful. Overall, I like the model of this birding point — rural farming community benefits and will help in conservation of nature and birds. Highly recommended!

A beautiful small millet farm where you get lots and lots of birds in the farm.uts an awesome place for bird lovers..I got birds like hanging parrots,bunting and many more

The Shelar farms near Saswad in the outskirts of Pune is a new place amongst the bird lovers. This place has something it in which attracts birds a lot, may be the millets plantation or the passing canal, the cool weather surrounded by hills around giving the birds food, water and shelter. It's an unique combination in the entire vicinity. Gaurav is a young boy who is now fully into this new found sensation and it seems he enjoys it to the fullest. His interest in learning the habitat and the behavior of the birds is remarkable plus his affinity towards camera and its setting is also growing everyday. All in all a must visit for bird lovers both serious or for hobby.

Best place for birding!!! Its a place which is a very natural habitat to these birds and no artificial ways are followed to attract them. No false calls or force feeding!!!!! Very good experience!

Well managed by the young owner of the property which is a place for the birders like me to watch the lovely Vernal hanging parrot and other birds species in monsoon time from August to October. Surrounded by the pearl millets all over the property which attracts the birds to eat and also a lot of sunflowers are there to attract many nearby passing people. We stayed at Saswad Pune to visit this property.

Very good place to photograph the only parrot species in India - Vernal hanging Parrot. Along with Parrots, this farm provides an opportunity to click various other species of birds. A must visit for bird watchers. Gaurav, is a friendly person looking after the farm. Growing organic pearl millet, so that birds visit the farm, is commendable about him. We had good experience on all our visits. 🤗😊

Good place for birding... Sightings. Vernal hanging parrot , crested bunting , ashy ,plan ,grey breasted prinia , boneless egal with kill , plum headed parakeet , silval bill , scally breasted munia , tricolour munia ,baya weaver. Gaurav is a nice guy.

Gaurav farm owner is very nice man well behaved sobre gentleman , car goes up to the birding point . Only thing is it was very crowded .
