What a beautiful place. The owner builded the place himself. Took years to accomplish it. He used what the sea and the earth gave him. Get into it. It is an immersive experience. On Friday’s night music om the roof.

    Amazing!!!! Please do not leave this Island without visiting this museum. Really interesting to learn the history of this beautiful place and its people. My children have learnt more on this visit than anything taught at school. To see real artefacts used to shackle the slaves really brought home the brutality of man in this world. As the owner mentioned this is a history that should never be erased. Instead it should be learnt from! Will definitely visit again. Thanks Jon

    A very unique museum in the way it is curated. The range of exhibits and the excellent and informative guides give you a real understanding of Cabo Verde and its history. A real must visit for anyone staying on Boa Vista

    This was one of the best museums we have ever visited. Three floors of artefacts and objects collected from ship wrecks and / or the beach we're displayed. The owner & his daughter talked us through the three floors. They were well-informed and passionate about their subject, made everything very interesting.

    Nous avons surtout profité de la cafétéria sur le toit. Qui est superbement décorée. Personnel sympa et souriant. Endroit agréable pour boire un délicieux café.

    Von Livemusik angelockt, gönnen wir uns, in schönem Ambiente, einen Caipirinha. Der ist gut, hat viel Eis und Limette und einen europäischen Preis. Das drumherum relativiert das.

    Nous sommes venues pour la visite du musée ainsi que pour manger. La jeune fille qui nous a présenté le musée est super sympa et instruite, nous avons eu des échanges interessants. Les focaccias étaient délicieuses et live music était sympa ! Je recommande l’endroit.

    Very well put together and the guide was a great storyteller. Alot of effort and thought has been put into the aesthetics.

    Mit viel Liebe zum Detail und außerordentlich dekorativ sind die Stücke ausgestellt sowie das gesamte Haus restauriert. Ich hatte eine informative Führung mit einem sehr freundlichen guide der mir die Kultur und die Geschichte von Boavista näher gebracht hat. Im oberen Stockwerk befindet sich eine großartige Dachterrasse mit einer luftigen Bar. Abends war Livemusik angesagt mit selbstgebackenen Foccachia welches ich mir angehört habe und die Musik hat meine Seele erreicht. Es war wunderschön anzuhören.

    {"0":"What an amazing experience. Did not expect the service we got here today. The owner was amazing and showed us round. explained all about the interesting things he had found and told us all about the history of Cape Verde. I would highly recommend going here. Even if it’s to see what they have found in the shipwrecks over the years it’s incredible. Over 3 floors of beautifully art. Thank you for the lovely morning. 🌅","2":["0","237"]}

    Super petit musée éclectique sur l'histoire du Cap-Vert, de l'esclavage, de la chasse à la baleine,... Une mention spéciale à Sarah pour les moments d'échanges et d'explications lors de la visite guidée en français (parle aussi très bien italien, anglais et portugais)... Une bonne heure de découvertes, de sourires et d'humanité !

    Muito bonito o museu, objectos muito interessantes, o que achei bizarro foi a GUIA ter um grupo de 5, 3 portugueses 2 que so entendiam Inglês claro a individa optou por falar inglês e nos dizer que não falava português numa ex clonia portuguesa, o será mais uma oportunista julgava so desse tipo no algarve mas claro paga e não bufa.

    We had a great visit here. We decided to visit Sal Rei, we didn't know about the museum. Thankfully we visited on a day the museum was open. The staff were lovely and for the price we had an exceptional tour.

    {"0":"Well worth a visit! Olivia, my guide, covered ancient myths, island history, worldwide politics and trade related to the islands, marine biology, and a couple of conspiracy theories! You can easily spend a couple of hours here as there's a lovely cafe/bar on the top floor and some interesting souvenirs to buy.","2":["0","311"]}
