I
happened
to
be
there
in
November
2022
when
there
was
a
suspected
active
shooter.
It
turned
out
to
be
a
false
alarm.
However,
it
took
over
an
hour
to
communicate
to
all
stores
that
it
was
safe
to
open
again.
Some
were
closing
while
others
were
opening.
It
doesn't
give
you
a
feeling
of
confidence
that
if
there
really
was
an
active
shooter,
all
stores
would
have
the
information
immediately.
The
establishment
where
I
was
locked
inside
let
people
out
when
it
"looked
safe",
not
because
they
had
received
word
that
it
WAS
safe
to
do
so.
A
security
guard
told
me
that
some
stores
may
remain
closed
due
to
orders
from
head
office.
How
is
the
customer
supposed
to
know
if
he
should
wait
or
not?
After
an
hour
of
walking
around
waiting
for
specific
stores
to
open,
I
left
empty-handed.
