Really like this mall. It's HUGE. I go early to the mall to walk inside. Everything is well maintained and clean. I am there at least 4 times a week. I go 1 hour before the stores open. There's quite a few other people that go early to walk, also. It's great, after I walk I can stay and shop, eat lunch or even have a cocktail at the wine bar!!!

Nice place to hang around while waiting for airport transfer. Need a luggage, go to Dillars, you can find good deal on carry ons. Food court is limited but is got at least 6 restaurants. Chickfillet was closed.

Love, love, love Lakeside Mall. All of my favorite stores and eateries are located under one roof. The mall is also located in a prime area of Metairie, where there are also local shops, local restaurant favorites, grocery stores & more.

Lakeside Shopping Center is a great place to shop, dine, and have fun in New Orleans. The mall has a variety of stores for every taste and budget, from Apple to Zara, and from Macy’s to Madewell. You can find everything you need, whether it’s clothing, electronics, beauty products, or books. There are many dining options to choose from, such as Chick-fil-A, PF Chang’s, Charleys Cheesesteaks, and more. The mall is conveniently located near the city and the airport, and has ample parking and security. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the mall is always clean and well-maintained.

The Lakeside Shopping Center is a wonderful place to shop. The mall is always crowded with people. If you want the best parking space, please get there early. The seniors get there early by stay fit walking. It is a nice to go to beat the heat. We have been experience extreme heat in this city. They have delicious food. I love Smooth King, Chick-Fil, Cane's and Subway. These are some of my favorite places to eat at.

Good store options make for fun day of shopping. Food court is the same. Don't be afraid to dine in or at a near by restaurant! Plenty of parking in and outside of parking garage. Plan by checking the mall hours before you go.

Pretty large mall that stays busy. Always seems to have local events taking place as well. Lots of food options, clean restrooms, and the ability to charge your cell (or in my case my mobility scooter).

I always enjoy coming to this mall! It's so fun to walk around. There are so many different stores and plenty of selections at the food court. I come here often with my friends or just to go clothes shopping or gift shopping for loved ones! Also, I'm thankful for their clean bathrooms and approachable, kind security.

The parking lot and the mall are congested but it's nice. They have some unique stores but the food court is a basic food court. I enjoyed the Easter decorations but a few more benches and plants to sit and take a break while shopping would be nice.

What's not to like about a Shopping Center? I shop at J. C. Penny, primarily, because I love their continuous sales. They let you try onm garments before purchasing. They have a system set up to put aside clothes for a period of time, that a customer tries on and decides not to buy so those items can be disinfected. It's a bit of normalcy that I appreciate. Penny sells the jeans that I were, Gloria Vanderbilt Amanda. High rise waist. Stretch fabric.

Clean, well-maintained, upscale mall with polite but firm enforcement of mask mandates. The Bath & Body Works is a highlight, and the food court is packed with delicious options.

This mall is very beautiful. Although I do wish they would add more affordable stores. Not just branded clothing stores that make it difficult to find good sales.

Got there right before Macy’s opened, so not crowded at first. Soon enough, waves of people came in and it was packed. All stores began to be very busy and it was a very large amount of people. Most people wore masks, which was very good. Overall a decent trip.

Very good mall that has many good shops for many things. It also has some pretty cool shops like Build a Bear, a Lego Shop (a bit expensive but really cool), and so many other things. The food selection is also great but what I also like is the look the hotel has, looks very nice.

Loved this shopping center since the 60’s. My children are amazed when I show them the then and now. Had a wonderful time In the Holiday center. Took my Great Grandson for his first visit to Santa. He’s only 6 months old but loved seeing all the people and festivities around him. I see why this is still the busiest shopping center year after year. The only place left for them to grow is up. I’m so glad to see JCPenney and Dillards still striving and surviving. Penneys is one of the last of the best stores still here.

Went on thanks giving night for shopping, during our trip to New Orleans and to be honest, I really loved the mall. They have all the brands people usually shop along with the more expensive and lavish brands too. We were there only for couple of hours, busy shopping, so didn't get much time to explore the whole mall. We did see some food shops aa well. Only drawback is, we didn't see any directory for a mall of this big size. We switched on our gps to locate the desired stores.

it's gotten rundown over the last decade. specifically the Forever 21 store- it was pretty disgusting. there was so much dried gum all over the floor in the entire store; clothing all over the ground like there was an apocalypse. the line was so long and slow moving because (presumably) the 3 staff members were moving at a glacial pace and looked mad to be working, so they were indifferent about moving the line efficiently. I felt like I was in purgatory while in line for 12 minutes.

Such a busy mall, and you can tell why. So much to choose from. The nice little train for toddlers are $2 each and. Cash only. What a nice feature for the kiddos. Don't you just love the round table to seat at.

Shopping is limited to a few stores and there is a decent food court. If you're on the go and in the area, it's a nice stop. The best part of this shopping center is the river views for photo opps!

I'm originally from New Orleans and Lakeside has ALWAYS been one of the top tier shopping malls in the area. I actually didn't shop on this day but took my 73 year old aunt out for dinner to celebrate her birthday. It was just she and I. We used to celebrate my mother's birthday there every year but we lost her 2/28/20....so my aunt chose to go there in honor of her sister's memory. It was a bittersweet moment but we truly enjoyed the food and our time together.

Nice improvements done to this mall but Apple needs let people in for pickup and Genius Bar. People don’t have time to wait in line. They’ve other things to do. I understand that there’s still COVID-19 vaccines needed to given but no store at Lakeside Mall is letting people wait outside. I’m here (01/20/21) to pick up my order but I have to be in the account with my sister to pick up the order. So, I’m patiently waiting since 2:00PM CT.

Had a bad expierence was taking some photos of a chair back and a plant for a class the security comes running up and grabs me saying never come back cool I will try and bring my businesses and concerns with me. Here's one of the plant, started following me after this one then laid off after people started just looking crazy at them then felt I crossed the line after the pic of the chair ran up like 3 times while I'm sitting at the table playing a game thought they were trying to ask for a cookie. Love Great American Cookie

In the age of pandemic shopping done electronically, this was a nice change of pace. Sometimes it's nice to actually see the products in person and know there are jobs and lives tied to the commerce. Lakeside is a beautiful shopping center with the renovations over the last several years. The shops are great and the dining options are good also.

I am in love with this mall. I can't wait to get back here. I live in Montgomery Al and this is what a real luxury mall looks like. Everyone has great hospitality in every store.

The town center of Metairie. Busy on the weekends. Stay clear if you don't like crowds. Lots of stores and variety. Clean and up to date with interior design.

This mall has gotten worse in terms of cleanliness and clientele over the past few years. Stores are messy, and customers are rude. Parking is outrageous as well.

The mall is great the only down fall is the train they put up every year. It's in front of some major stores and when you go shopping you can't hear what the associates are saying and it's like they have to yell at the customers so they can hear. I think they should change it up and put it down on the opposite end to give the stores on the other side a break. The kids get really rowdy and it's hard to think let alone shop. This is just my input but my one voice won't make a difference.

We had a great time @ Lakeside Mall in Metairie. It was "Packed and crowded with shoppers. Yet enough space, to not bump into people. I found many great bargains at Macy's. People formed lines outside of some stores in the Mall. Probably. precaution for C. Pandemic and crowd control for customers' safety. People seemed calmed and willing to wait. It's been a very long time since being in a jam pack parking garage at Lakeside Mall. It looked sort of strange, yet good for the economy. Seems like people was dealing with the Increase of traffic. That was a "good thing". The Mall was full with holiday festivities and decor. It was so nice to see many families and people, yet with guarded precaution. The majority of people wore face mask. It was indeed a pleasure just "getting out and about", without the craziness of some hostile shoppers in " time pass". 🙃 Really, that visit was on " Black Friday". So, just check out for yourself, We had a great shopping experience. 🙂

Busy. This place is a one stop, you can find everything in here. It's beautiful and clean. Lots of security.

Nice to see a shopping mall open and thriving. Friendly people both in the stores and about the mall. People aren't letting the state of the country dampen their spirit.

Highly recommend. Indoor mall that has something for everyone. Every holiday they decorate for the theme, and do something special for kids. There's an adorable play area for little tots and a seating area for parents. Nice food court and multiple restaurants on site.

I seem to always find great parking even on Black Friday. Odd I know. The mall is laid out nicely & you can usually find what you want. Word of caution. The Apple Store can be a zoo.

Ate at Flemings Steak Restaurants. We were there to celebrate my Grandson's Graduation. Although, it was a last minute put together event, the staff did their best to accommodate our group. I was able to reserve two tables for a total of 11 guests in the beginning, but when our group grew to a total of 18 we didn't know how to make it happen, upon a short notice. I spoke to the manager and she told me the best she could was 12 guest. She explained to me why and I understood the situation. After all it was the day before and it was during the busy Holiday season. I accepted her offer of 12. On the day of, we arrived with 16 guests. None of the 16 wanted to miss out on the celebration, even more so because we were having it at Flemings. When we arrived, we expected for 4 of us to be turned around, but instead the other 4 were given a table a little ways off from the rest of us. The hostess was nice enough to tell them, if a table closer to where the 12 of us was sitting became available, she would move them closer to us. About 15 minutes in, they were moved closer. The service we great, the food was delicious, and everyone had an enjoyable experience. The staff at Flemings went out of their way to make us feel as welcome as possible and I truly appreciate it. I would like to say Thanks to everyone working at the restaurant on that day. They all provided the Best of Service.

The itself was fine, but I went in the mall to go to the dentist. Was not a happy camper. The mall had nice shops. Don't really do the mall, but it was very nice and clean. Great shops. Macy's, Steve Madden, the Mac store. Victoria Secret. Just to name a few. Oh Dillards, The Gap. Nice food court

I love lakeside. It’s the only mall I go to. It’s clean, and they have a large variety of stores that all of my family love. The food court doesn’t have that big of a selection. They have Great American Cookie, and I love getting my cookie cakes from them. I get me an ice cream, whenever I go to the mall. I eat it while I shop. They have the only Apple store. They have hot topic, Victoria’s Secret, aero, Dillard, Lego store, and many others.

Quite crowded, multi-ethnic. Orchid show a grand success: eight dealers doing good sales on Saturday. Nearly 80 persons working, most for no pay. Food court very busy; sanitaires located there were clean, but really too far away for us. Bravo for the New Orleans Orchid Society!

A nice shopping center with some great stores. Seems like the only public restrooms are in the food court.... Trying to be helpful, there were uniformed employees at each store directory who would ask if you needed help finding a store. I really just wanted to get a look at the stores and the layout and didn't appreciate having someone looking over my shoulder as I perused the list. Perhaps if the helpful employees laid back a bit and allowed people who had been to malls before and knew how to use a store directory take their time, the place would be a little more hospitable.

🎄We went to New Orleans for a day trip. And we thought this shopping center is a must to visit because they had the holidays Christmas decorations as well as Santa for photo shoot. Unfortunately Santa was too popular and expensive to take photo with. So we gave up. 🎅 The mall was clean and nice! ** I'm an emoji Google local guide in DFW areas if you want more reviews, don't forget to follow my account. 😊 **

Visited Nola Living Home interior. I love the little shop. It's new in the shopping center. It has very nice tea sets and home interior things. I have to go back to get my tea cups and tea spoons. It also carry nice gifting ideas.

Maps has been very poor at getting me to places. Often sends me in opposite direction. I spent 25 minutes driving in circles (literally) a few days ago in Covington. Had to shut it off & find my own way after passing the same buildings three times to get home. It did it again today. Also sent me to employee only Post office instead of Public PO ten blocks away.

Lakeside Shopping Center is so nice! I wish our local mall area was more like this one. There are nice groups of tables with chairs. You could have a business meeting there, lol. There seems to be only one place where there are restrooms, but the fact that they are clean and maintained nicely made it worth the feeling it was out of the way. I would miles for a clean public restroom, ha. There are comfy chairs and pods that also have charging stations for phones all around the shopping center. It was so cool. Everything seems to be centrally located. It's just a really great shopping center and a great shopping experience.

Clean and good variety of stores- rest rooms only in food court areas or big anchor stores, not well marked. Covered parking is a plus. Very nice on hot summer days. Lots of places to sit and rest or people watch.

As much money that mall makes and all the upgrades they supposedly have done throughoutthe years, I found it very disappointing. The mall itself is ugly and looks like it did when I was still a kid. The only difference now, is the stores themselves may have changed any brought me up to date. As for the mall itself, all I can say is YUCK! The floors are still stuck in the 70's and they've thrown in some weird furniture, seating areas and modern light fixtures. Honestly, it looked better in the 70's and 80's because at least everything blended well. Now it looks like they've just thrown a few modern elements into the 70's/80's mall, only updating the stores themselves. There is no rhyme or reason within. No story.... No style.... and no cohesiveness to it whatsoever. Plopping down some George Jetson seating and some big round tables in the mall, isn't doing a thing for it. It's simply UGLY!

Good place to spend time and money for shopping - gifts, clothes, beauty, games, various food and much more! I personally like this place on holiday season for the atmosphere, decorations and sale.

One of the premier malls in the New Orleans area! Has all of the staple stores you could ask for, and even some higher end brands such as Restoration Hardware. They are getting new brands in as well, so definitely stop by!

Malls may be antiquated in the age of Amazon, but the stores and atmosphere here are reminiscent of the golden age of “The Mall” - updated and full of great stores, and an awesome food court this mall is fantastic.

Yalls mall security is a joke. Yall need a new mall security. Everytime you see them they are talking to each other or they are hanging out at the food court. They never do there job.

I love the mall and the stores. It is always clean, even the food court. It is always crowded, I wish there was a duplicate in New Orleans East.
