I enjoy malls of all shapes and sizes. If they’re kept well maintained and clean it should be an enjoyable experience. I know not all malls are as fun as others. It’s hit or miss I suppose but I’ve had no major issues with Bayshore Shopping Centre. It’s clean and well maintained. There are three levels for your shopping pleasures. The only gripe I have is the parking lot. It can be tricky to navigate but just follow the signs and you can’t go wrong. 👍☺️

Giving one star because one of the elevators has been broken for more than three weeks now! With only working, it has been very difficult for people with strollers during busy days and hours. It takes a while to get the elevator and it is always crowded these days. At least, they should give priority to those in need when one of the elevators is out of service. Hopefully it is fixed soon. Apart from that, the mall is beautiful and it has pretty much everything you need. Edited: they have fixed and now working fine.

Bayshore changes seasonally, you see it first in the fashions. In the autumn the smells around the coffee shops include pumpkin spice, candy cane makes it's presence know as Christmas beacons. The myriad of shops offer fashions to keep you warm or cool. Kitchen stores bring out bbq tools and outdoor dining utensils in the late spring. Fall comes with casserole dishes and baking's needful things. A walk through can seem ordinary or when an event opens the mall takes on a new character. Always a fine place for people watching. Something with the waning of the pandemic has become more common a pastime. Like all malls it is always the same, yet ever changing. Designed to capture your eye and perhaps coax out a purchase or two, or more. As the French call them, centre commercial, they exist to feed that need and to be just a little entertaining as well. Bayshore fulfills both of those roles very well.

Despite Stage 2 being active again the mall still has tables accessible to customers to eat on. They also let people eat on benches throughout the mall causing clusters of people eating (and obviously without masks on) within a 2 meter distance. I saw multiple instances of 12 to 15 people all cramped together eating and when I asked a passing security they said they can't tell them no because it's not "the food court". This place is incredibly unsafe. They don't clean nearly as often as they claim to. The stores seem to be doing ok but it's the communal mall halls and food court dining area that scares me anytime I'm here.

Great mall but it’s not looked after. The washrooms are dirty and smell horrible, no toilet papers and no paper towels in the dispensers. Huge waiting to use the washrooms specially on the weekend. The management company of the mall should re-evaluate their contract with the cleaning company and make sure that they address the issue of the cleaning with the company they assigned to do the job so they clean the mall properly and make sure it is up to standards.

Pretty large shopping mall with a number of well known stores. Food court was rather small I think. The place lacks adequate number of elevators. Clean washrooms and a number of information screens were helpful. There were a number of places to sit and eat ice cream and drink coffee .

This is a great mall. You will find pretty much every store here even a home sense & winners and a Wal-Mart on the third floor. Covered parking is a plus. Great location off the 417 going west or Holly Acres going east off Carling & Bayshore. Great food court. Easy to walk the mall three floors and not confusing layout. Is a nice environment and atmosphere and clean.

I definitely enjoy shopping with my wife here. Malls aren't really geared towards things I am interested in. I like the place with with all the candles and soaps...Bath & Body works. And I am a big fan of the food court lol. Malls nice and clean and reasonably easy to find stores. I think you'll be ok with it.

Bayshore was a good shopping centre but has lost much of its attraction for me. Many of the stores I used to visit have closed. Not really worth the trip now. I wish the owners would try to attract a few stores that are not run of the mill so to speak.

Mall seems to have extended their hours to 9pm but what’s the point? The mall empties out around 7pm so they really can’t be making that much in the evening hours. 10-8 seemed way more reasonable for shopping hours

The eating area is kept neat and tidy with maintenance done continuously. The patrons of the various food stalls too were calm. You could even work there as there's free wifi (accessible and working) charging points for both phones and laptops. They don't have control over what the food vendors serve I think because I was not particularly pleased with what I got. It doesn't dull the shine though.

I love the Bayshore Mall. My favourite stores are Walmart, Zara and the Hudson’s Bay. The food court is great. Parking is excellent. I wish there were more escalators though, sometimes you have to walk to one end to use the escalator and after walking for hours in the mall it could be tiring. Still, I love Bayshore Mall. ❤️

Best Mall you can go to. You can find all the stores you want in one place where it is indoors so you can walk, grab food, dessert or coffee and not be rushed due to weather. Cleanliness is 11/10.

Bayshore has been my favorite mall in the city since the 90s. It's very clean and well kept, much more so than the majority of other malls in the city, bathrooms included. There is a good variety of shopping, with something for everybody regardless of tastes. Some of my personal favorites over the years have been build-a-bear, the Bay, and the (unfortunately) long gone Sam the Record Man. The kids always have fun during our trips to Bayshore!

Bayshore Shopping Centre is a fantastic place to shop, offering a wide selection of stores and plenty of space to browse. The mall is well-organized, making it easy to find what you're looking for. The food court is especially noteworthy, offering a variety of dining options that are sure to please. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is clean and inviting. If you're looking for a shopping centre with a lot to offer, Bayshore is a great choice.

We love this shopping center at the west end. There are lots of free parking slots. the variety is tremendous. you always can find the items you are looking far. It is a perfect combination of luxury shops and ordinary stores. The food court is the best one at Ottawa area. When the most of shopping centers have the declining clients, this shopping center is still prosperous.

Nice Addition To The 3rd Floor! Nice and clean mall, the stores, and food court on general. Many ups and downs about this place I've visited since 1983 to 2023. Forty years of fond memories!

Great mall. Three stories high, with all sorts of stores across many genres that'll suit everyone in the party’s needs. You can get yourself some Crocs at Boathouse, a movie to watch at Sunrise, and a new cable box at Videotron. The bathrooms are busy but relatively clean. The food court is very diverse. Lots of seating and accessible options.

Been several months when shopping at Bayshore Mall noticed how disgusting dirty this mall is with in their elevator areas near Walmart elevator. I've called Bayshore Customer Service numerous times to notify them how disgusting dirty their elevator is and that no one is keeping it clean. It's surprising for a multi Million dollar mall like Bayshore, they can't keep it clean for it's patrons and Tenants..

Stairs are obviously "selling strategies" not comfortable at all, you have to walk back and forth too much, the management changed the "food section" , which I would recommend other side so highway would be good wiev. Mall sometimes so crowded, parking entrance so busy, busy and busy, prices not best of town. But you can find whatever you need, which kills local business too.

I love this mall. But they can improve at their service desk. The girls are not very friendly. And when you ask a question is like you’re asking them for a personal favour. I hope to see trained people in actual customer service. All the test of the mall it’s amazing.

A safe and wonderful place to go even with small children as the food court caters to requirements of all age groups. The stores cater to all needs and wishes of shoppers. Walmart is added advantage as any groceries can be quickly picked up. A must visit every weekend for quality shopping and recreation.

The second best shopping center in Ottawa--after the Rideau Center. A good place to shop despite having one of the worst parking lot. Recent renovations have really help out the look and feel of the centre. Pro-tip, park on P4 since there is no direct entrance to the shopping centre, hence, there is more parking place. However, you will have to go down or up some stairs to enter the centre, which might be an inconvenience if you have a baby carriage or limited mobility.

Bayshore is always bursting with energy and vibrant shops and happy shoppers. In a world of "dead malls" this place is always good to go. It's always energetic and I love getting a pretzel, grabbing a coffee and exploring new shops while taking my time and smiling back at other shoppers, albeit through my face mask. I hope Bayshore gets better and better. A restaurant much like Moxie's used to be there would be a great addition.

  • 1/5 Daniel G. 3 years ago on Google
Apparently since the mall's closing on Dec 26, 2020, the pet store remains pitch black until someone comes in for 2-3 hours a day. Their pet store still hosts cats, dogs, rabbits, fish, birds, etc. This is pretty cruel and the management at the mall isn't responding to this situation at all.

Don't go here. It's not worth it. The parking lot is such a huge mistake on their park. Why in the world a mall needs a AIRPORT SIZED parking lot is beyond me. It is so small and confusing. You will spend more time trying to get out than you spend shopping. Just stick to the other malls. It's not worth the time and energy, they really ruined this place with that parking.

It is a great place to shop, grab a bite or a cup of coffee. But this shopping centre has the worst design of parking ! I hate parking in the indoor levels ... It pisses me off how narrow the spots are especially the ones between the columns. Other than the parking, try the mall out and, Enjoy !

BAYSHORE is really Awsome but parking is really always very stressful. The stores don't really add up for the amount of stress in the dark undercover parking area with the small spaces.

It's not bad. Worth visiting every once in a while. It think the chaos and disorder is just due to covid. Tables aren't cleaned between guests, most tables are without chairs and will not provide more because of capacity (obviously). No social distancing.. lots of construction and unfinshed areas. Good luck trying to navigate the escalators

Used to be good, but has been slowly getting worse and worse over the years. Covid seems to have struck a nail into Bayshore's coffin. Dirty, loud, and in disarray. The only good place about it is the sushi bar in the food court (that has conviniently moved to the 3rd floor in the middle of the shopping centre).

What can you say about this mall that nobody knows already it's clean the food court food is always great (especially Jimmy the Greek ) staff at the kiosks are always happy to help with directions or emptying your wallet on hair treatments or other stuff you don't need 😁although that's on me I'm weak when it comes to a good sales pitch all that being said by far the best mall in Ottawa only second to kings crossing in Kingston in my opinion they could take first place over all if only they had an adidas outlet 😁

  • 4/5 David G. 2 years ago on Google
Bayshore mall is a regular Canadian mall; not much to do other than buying and enjoying food. The mall has plenty of stores and a Walmart at one end definitely a plus for grocery shoppers. The locations of the stairs are kind of weird, at least to me, it might help to reduce the spread of virus as up and down directions are not side by side.

Very upgraded from 10 years ago. Modern interior. Third floor is depressing though as many business have closed. Rumour has it that the mall is actively trying to rectify the issue by moving the food court back to old location on third floor as Walmart customers were not shopping at the mall anchoring the third floor as originally hoped.

It has all the latest trend settings shops that you need, all in one place! Kids shopping to Adult clothes to Daily household items, everything is available here. It also has ample parking in case anybody is wondering about that. It has 5 levels of huge parking available and just walk in the mall.

I prefer this place to the mall downtown Ottawa. It’s a lot more calm and less hectic than Rideau. I also think that the selection of stores is spot on and you are able to get all your shopping done there! Parking might be a hustle if you go during busier time if the week, otherwise it’s a pretty good shopping location.

Bayshore mall is alright, gets fairly busy and the hallways get crowded, especially now before the holidays. I prefer to go to the Walmart from the outside, and only occasionally shop inside the mall itself. I like that they moved the food court back to its original location on the third floor, it's more central. Other enjoyable stores for me include a pet shop, Winners, sushi stand and Old Navy.

One of the best places in Ottawa to go shopping. It's big. Lots of variety. It's cool in the summer and warm in the winter and usually there's enough parking. Far better than the frozen wastelands of the box store outside car malls like Kanata Centrum or College Park in Nepean. Lots of toilets, too, unlike the box store places.

Bayshore Shopping Mall is large work plenty of parking/multi story garage which is routinely patrolled. A lot of store selections and can be very busy. Multi-level shops with elevators in the middle which can get very busy/may have a line. I would like to see more store directories available throughout the mall.

I had an excellent experience at Mano City Pizza! The pizza is outstanding and the staff is so friendly and efficient. Everyone is very welcoming, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. The pizza here is one of the best I've tried - delicious, cheesy, and with a perfect crust. The toppings are fresh and generous. The staff is so kind and accommodating, and they make sure you're happy with every aspect of your meal. Kudos to them for being exceptionally fast and friendly. I would highly recommend Mano City Pizza to anyone looking for a delicious slice of pizza!

Excellent shopping center. Lots of shops for all budgets. There is also a huge food court area. You can take a break and eat something tasty.

We shopped throughout the mall and found so many stores (not all!)have almost doubled their prices on Merch... and the quality is just not there anymore 😕 Bought this mosquito deterrent device from the Showcase store 🤔 Not the strongest device but did keep some flies away. I thought for $9.99 for 2, why not try. They will be great for times when we eat food on the deck. ✅

Love this place as I find everything I'm looking for, and then some. Ample parking and awesome choices at food court. Lots of great stores to visit.

Love the food court. Shanghai 360 is a hit. Lots of places to shop and lots of benches. Garage for parking is great. Drivers can be a bit top aggressive in parking area.

Bayshore is a nice shopping centre with good buses connections and ample amount for parking. The shops ranges from expensive to affordable esp on ones outside Walmart. On Sundays it closes early. The food court is also nice and I like how they have made outdoor dining too.

Pros: Nice snd clean shopping mall. Variety of different brands. Indoor (good for hot or cold days) Cons: Not enough elevators and there’s usually a lineup for them. If you are on wheelchair or have a baby in stroller, to go to another floor you need to use the elevators and expect to wait 5 to 10 minutes for them.

Great mall. Has all the stores without the traffic of Rideau. Also the parking is free. Kids friendly with their drivable rides around the mall

I recently shopped at Bayshore, and in a world of dwindling good customer service, it was a treat to shop here. The manager helped me select a good pair of shoes for travel, and also referred me to another store where I ended up purchasing also. They know their products, and they are honest. I high recommend this store. Thank you.
