The mall it's nice and super huge to walk around with the family 👪 👨‍👩‍👧‍👧 . It has a lot of stores. The only problem is the food court doesn't have good restaurants😭😭😭.

Sun valley Shopping Center is very attractive and clean inside. Not much to look at from outside. I haven’t had problems with parking. I parked outside of Macy’s. They have a garage I have not used yet. All store spaces are filled and looks vibrant.

It's a nice mall that is very clean and well maintained. There are a wide variety of stores here and it generally isnt too crowded either. The food court is one of the best of any mall I've been too and the arcade by the food court is also a nice addition. Overall I would highlt recommend this mall as compared to other shopping centers.

Haven't been here in 9 years. But I showed up today.. Was pleasantly surprised to see the floors well maintained, nearly all stores were open and clean and stocked! Santa was there and his sleigh looked great! I wish Sears would've been ready for the season.. But all the other stores compensated for them.

Probably the best shopping center in Bay area with convenient location and parking spaces. Mall is clean, lightning in prefect and interior design of the mall is Amazing with variety of shopping options of jewelry, clothing, food, games, fitness and beauty stores. We are one of many stores inside sunvalley mall. We offer eyebrows design, threading, Henna eyebrows by our very experienced eyebrow artists who has been serving Bay area over the decade. We are women led business and completely understand your need for the beautiful eyebrows. We will match the price if there is any other stores who offers you the better price but at the same time customers satisfaction will always be our first priority. Our mission is to provide quality threading service in family environments. We are equal opportunity service provider. Pets and children are always welcome in the store :)

Wow, first time I’ve stepped in an indoor shopping mall in a long while. In its heydays malls like these would be so popular that you would have to follow people in parking lots to find a parking spot.

I'm originally from California born and raised ,but currently reside in NYC since 2015. Anyway I grew up with this mall and I still think they are pretty good..gotten bigger and better too as far as store selections from cheap to sleek. If you want expensive brands they got you or a cheat club dress that looks like a million dollars (more my taste) they got you. Got my vacation bathing suit for 23 dollars on sale at Macys and I loved it!!!

I haven't visited this mall in several years, but it has become mediocre like most malls have become. The Macy's is being renovated, the food court was lively with plenty of options, and the restrooms and the majority of the mall are very clean. Parking is not an issue, but the lack of stores was a disappointment.

Macy's was nice, Nordstrom Rack had a ton of stuff on sale and the whole place seemed a bit more fresh and vibrant than when I visited a few years back. Clean, lovely restrooms, nice selection of stores and ample parking.

Our Santa photo experienced this year was very horrible. We need to make a reservation but there's no point anyway cause you still need to wait for an hour to be really have a photo with their "Santa". And when its our turn, seems like the photographer doesnt really care if the pictures taken is good or not. So when they printed it out....NONE of the pictures taken satisfied our expectations. The baby is not looking on the camera, Santa is also not even looking. And they told us thats the best picture and if we want to redo it we need to go back to the line. Really?

There's a palpable absence of customers at Sunvalley Shopping, a whole lot of empty parking, empty food court that had a facelift a few years ago, empty stores, if you want to pretend you're Billie Eilish making a music video singing to yourself, this is the place to be. Aside from lack of interesting stores that you can find anywhere else & online, it's very plain, and Boomerish. Even the employees look like "please why is the time not moving?" or at least that is what their face is saying. The restroom doesn't have paper towels, so gross. You know this mall is really ancient since it doesn't even have a movie theater, but it did add a Round 1 arcade a few years ago to bring in younger foot traffic. Most of the customers lately have moved on to across the highway to The Veranda mall with the IMAX theater.

Food court is good, connected to round one, good stores. This mall should be around for A LONG time. The only thing wrong with it are the people who stop you and try and get you to buy stuff to clean your shoes. They will practically chase you down to give you the sale pitch and they will do it multiple times. They have been there when I was super young and they will be there when I die.

This is one old school mall that has survived the test of time. Many businesses have came and left, but many have survived here. well worth a visit to check out some of the newer stores and some of the older stores that have remained. Perfect mail to shop at during the holidays Christmas shopping.

I went to Saint Sage Candle - we had an appointment, with Kat. She was great, very nice, plenty attentive but gave us (4 females) space to talk freely. About $60 we choose our vase, scent and decoration in the wax. The scents are nice, wide variety and categorized. You get floral, glitter, and stones to put into the wax and can take home same day after shopping or lunch. Shop is super cute. We had a great time and something to walk away with. Definitely recommend scheduling an appointment via text or social media.

It's a normal two story shopping center and the clientele who go there are nice normal everyday working people, unlike some malls which are unpleasant. They have two Macy's, a Sears, a Nordstrom Rack and many other popular stores. It's clean and has a relaxed atmosphere. Plenty of parking!

Went to get shopping done for the holidays and found a lot of good gifts. The morning is always calmer and less people. I went back around 3pm and it was extremely busy so if your shopping during Black Friday weekend, the earlier the better. Overall, it's one of my favorite malls in the Bay Area.

  • 3/5 Teri N. 4 years ago on Google
I really like coming to this mall when I need to go shopping because it's so close to where I live. And they have some good stores inside the mall. Unfortunately the food court and food options here aren't very good. Hardly anyone eats at the food court here. Also, I always hear that there are always a lot of car break-ins here.

Been going to this mall since 2002. Without fail I have seen a car that has been broken into. In one of my more recent trips my trucks tailgate was stolen. Security for the exterior of the mall is very lax imo. Inside the mall was clean and the bathrooms are tended to so no complaints there.

Luxury Perfumes in this mall is one of the best places to get the best perfume or cologne. The owner is extremely knowledgeable and can help you find exactly what you are looking for. As a plus, if you don't know what exactly to get, he has a nose for the best fragrance based on the scents that you prefer. He really listens to your preference, is super friendly and pretty much beats the price of my retailers. I've been going here for years. I highly recommend!!

Today on my visit, I had a very uncomfortable and dislikeable visit to the Sunvalley Mall. I had a hard time when walking into the mall from the disabled parking because the sidewalk was tilted and I fell while walking to the mall's entrance. Also, something very unusual happened when I was using the bathroom, a woman easily opened the door knob and entered the bathroom stall while I was using it. It was very uncomfortable and I felt very intimidated. I think the mall staff should try and fix that.

Sun Valley Shopping Center!! My home town mall. Ah the memories, the games, the gifts, the "World's Fair" food court and the girls! Who could forget the girls? Fabulous and exciting stuff but unfortunately for today's mall connoisseur that was more than 35 years ago. Today Sunvalley Mall is a drag. I should qualify that last statement by revealing that I think all malls are at least kind of a drag, most all anyhow. Sunvalley Mall I love you, I'm just not in love with you anymore. I'm sorry.

This place is awesome. A little cramped but this place has so many great stores to shop at and several fun places to spend time at. There's even an arcade. Although I haven't tried them, but there seems to be a great selection of food courts here, along with sweets and deserts aswell. Great place to take the kids, friends, family, etc man get on over here.

Comparing this to pre-covid Sun valley is like night and day. the Sun valley Mall seems to have gotten new lease on life and is vastly improved for what it used to be there's a lot of fun shops great food good parking it's just a great spot to be at and there's a lot of good things you can buy. This is a great place to go for a big shopping and stuff like that and if you need a new set of shoes this is my go-to place.

how's the teenager I really gave it five stars and maybe if your teenager it still is five stars but it's not what it used to be that's for sure. I've been going to Sun Valley for almost 50 years and it's downhill for sure compared to what it once was. it used to be a family entertainment type place and now it's just stores that want a lot of money for their b******* so enjoy if you go. it's still fun to walk around in a Christmas time I guess.so one of those people that believe that the mall was the beginning of the Costco's in the super stores which have ruined America.a lot of downtowns all over the United States.Google it or ask Siri

We went here for lunch and to walk indoors while it rained. The mall is clean and has no empty store fronts. Arcade was packed and fun and very noisy. Our choices for food were failures amd everything is $10-14. Crepes too thick with awful tasting chocolate sauce, panini was good but too small for a meal but it came with a large salad of fresh lettuces. The taiyaki are $2.85 but the batter is pancake-like and the red bean paste is not a paste but whole beans in a liquid syrup.

Well organized shopping mall that you can tour even when you are not shopping. You can rent a kids cart that they will gladly ride, and walk to the food corner to relax.

  • 3/5 Ed V. 1 year ago on Google
Their are some kids that are riding a bicycle and skate boarding in the mall. When I told them that they are not suppose to ride their bicycle and skate board at the mall they got rude and a bit disrespectful. Two of them was trying to stare me down like he wants to beat me up coz his got five friends with him that can gang up on me. I look for a security guards, and none to be found. Atleast one if not two of them was recording the entire thing on their cellphone. Please have more security in the mall, or atleast have a video camera on all entrances and exits so your security guards can have a better vusion of what's going on inside the mall. Atleast at the halls of the mall. Those kids can cause an accident. I was a victim of tern agers in that mall before.

I came here to just walk around and see what was going on. This place was the place to go when I was a kid in the 80s. I worked at a few stores here during the 90s and I have seen a lot of changes. I remember the fountain that was on the bottom floor in the middle of the mall. There was a Rainbow Records where I purchased the Beastie Boys "Licensed to I'll" cassette. There are so many places that I miss. Remember the movie theater? It did midnight showings of Rocky Horror Picture Show. I was too young but I remember. There was also an ice skating rink. I played broom ball there a few times. I remember the candy area in Sears that you could get popcorn, ICEEsand an assortment of candy you could buy by weight. My favorite was always the big red swedish fish. Gone are the stores I worked at and lot has changed but amazingly a few things have remained. The McDonald's is still in the same place. The Cinnabon is where it's been since the 90s. Macy's original store is there but they took over the Emporium Capwells and it houses half the store. The Red Robin is still there from the 90s. It was nice to see it was busy and to take a walk in the past.

Still the best around! While other shopping malls are beginning to look like ghost towns from a bad western... Sun valley is still thriving! Your destination for most anything. Food, Clothing, Jewelry, Novelty gifts, and much more all in one place. Always something new to see at Sun Valley!

SunValley Mall is a great place for free family photos. After shopping head towards JC Pennys and stop by the photo backdrop and Christmas Tree. Many times we forget to share our blessings with others. I wanted to share mine. I am alive and thriving. Always be kind and always give back. If I can do it to. You can too. I have 1 Christmas wish. If you are reading this post. Only if you can .. Complete 1 random act of kindness. Happy Holidays

Lots of parking except at Christmas. Good selection of stores. Mall was clean, security was visible. A good place to walk when it is hot before the stores are open. Food available at both ends of the shopping center.

A small has a lot of empty lots it's not the cleanest it is a little crowded there wasn't a whole bunch of clothes parking the stores in this mall our average. They have very little boost the restaurants do allow serving yourself not necessarily all Buffet but serving yourself. Most of the jewelry stores had their own security but I didn't see any in the whole Mall. Their food court leaves something to be desired.

I live nowhere near the Sun valley Mall so I can't say that I go here very often, but I can also say that it is probably the only mall I've been to in the year. I'm making this in April, so that to me says something. I heard on the news that thanks to millennials in our everlasting need to kill things that the mall was dying, yet this Sun valley Mall seems to be thriving! I went into this mall because a friend of mine told me that there was a box lunch and I am a crazy Disney fanatic so I needed to go in and see how it was. It's on the smallest side compared to the one that's in Pleasanton, but it's still very beautiful. I found that there were a lot of stores in this mall, my friend and I ended up going to the bath& body works for the longest because we're both little scent buddies and needed to get some candles or spray. Literally there's something in here for everyone. It's an older mall, but most of the stores are still thriving. A lot of these types have shuttered their doors. Glad to see one still going.

Sunvalley has a special place in my heart. I worked there in the 80's while in high school and still shop there. Malls are struggling but they give bringing in new stores and ensuring stores do t stay empty. Easy to find your way around.

1st time here, although, I have been to Concord several times before. The mall is very nice one of the few with nearly all stores open and running. The food court was not run of the mill fast food joints, they had really good selections and a completely vegan place as well.

Cool shopping mall wasn't expecting the underground mall and the first floor basically being the second floor which is really cool. Nice mall with good stores.

Redecorating my home was a breeze thanks to this shopping center. The quality and variety of home decor stores are outstanding. I found unique pieces that transformed my space into something truly special. What's more, the prices were so reasonable that I could upgrade my entire living room without breaking the bank. Home decor enthusiasts, this place is a hidden gem!

👍 Every store closes so early over here @ 7P. DSW, TJ MAXX, etc. I really miss Pier1. Just realized ULTA Beauty was over here toooo next to Total Wine. But very convenient location, right across from Concord Mills Mall with lots of parking.
