Decent. It is really massive! Lots and lots of shops. Two food courts (one big, one small). A great place to spend a couple of hours. Lots of seating places. Car park is good how it’s free for customers. A real g of riccaton.

Riccarton Mall offers something for everyone. A great selection of stores catering for all needs. The mall even has a birthday club for small children which is really thoughtful. Just see the friendly team at the kiosk under the escalator on the ground floor by the food court.

Wide selection of stores, good parking, good escalators and elevators. You can find a selection of food, clothes, toys, health spas, barbers, and more.

Typical shopping mall, they are all equally bad and sadly main attraction and place for people to spend their time on the weekends. Riccarton Mall is the oldest in town, overcrowded, with very limited parking options. Takes forever to find any parking spot, especially on the weekend. On the plus side there is something for everyone from cinema to variety of boutiques, shops, services and food and cafe options. Almost everything g you need you can find there if you don’t mind the stress of pushing through the crowds of people who seem to be there all day long, from the opening to closing.

Massive car park throughout the multiple stories. A lot of different businesses in one giant complex. I only use Pak'nSave but it should be easy to shop for various things.

Decent sized mall with a variety of shops, including pak n save, farmer's, and k-mart. Clean and easy to navigate, and digital directories available within the mall. Close to bus stop as well.

I disagree, it's a good mall, and it beats shopping in Timaru! Further more, if you go to the information desk, and quote them your car rego number, you can stay all day, now that, is pretty good! I know the toilets can get neglected from time to time, but that sometimes happens, as don't forget, there are a huge volume of people using them. All and all, I think the toilet facilities, are quite satisfactory. The shops in my view, are very good, and the prices, are very competitive, which makes the shopping experience satisfying. I for one enjoy visiting this mall.

Lots of free parking space, multiple shops to shop at, large food court and one place to find almost all of your necessities. Enjoy shopping again and again so, I will definitely be back.

Love the constant variety of this South Islands largest Shopping Mall with the newly refurbished Hoyts Movie Theater & amazing food coart upstairs incorporated within one's shopping experience should they choose too. Always excellent parking & if you are socially phobic, if you shop between 9 am & 11am you will find it always being that of 0.75% less people traffic, especially of those more younger ones at school ect . It's a lot easier to get what you need and be out in 10 - 15 mins sometimes. 10/10.

So glad City Chic is there. Great to have options for us not so skinny people. But the food court needs a revamp. Look at what Northlands did. They moved the food court down by the movie theater end and made it beautiful. Also has great seating. Just saying... giving an extra star for the arrival of Seoul Mate :)

Biggest mall in the South Island... Everything from all your telecommunications needs with Vodafone or simple grocery shopping with Pack n save... all the way to shoes, food, K-mart and other clothing... You'll find it all here

We went here to meet family. It was all decked out for Christmas and there were loads of people so it was vibrant, busy and alive. Because it was raining the carpark was full, but we did find a park.

Nice shop to walk around It'd my local farmers will recommend to my friends to visit the checkout people didn't told me that I have online rewards coupon to use unless I randomly asked them to check and find out I do have a $ 20 dollar voucher. Over all its a nice shop to buy branded cloths under one roof.

This place has every kind of retail store...and I mean every kind. All your needs in one place. Don't Park out front though and get caught out like us 120min parking and we spent all day, hence the nice parking ticket slotted in our wiper blade on our return.

  • 5/5 Leeanne M. 1 year ago on Google
Wow, huge place, amazing quality shops, great layout and parking facilities, easy to spend half a day here. There is a lovely little open cafe outside the entrance to Kmart that did the yummiest hot white chocolate drink.

  • 5/5 Thomas Edward K. 1 year ago on Google
I'm not a mall fellow l. But if you are, this is Christchurch's most comprehensive. It has a huge number of shops and most importantly for me heaps of free parking and a Mammoth food court. They have an absolutely heavenly chocolate cafe that is worth the trip to the mall alone. I just wish they'd get rid of the tacky bum Pak n Save which takes the full shine of the mall. One nasty eye sore on an otherwise fetching mall.

  • 5/5 Neil N. 1 year ago on Google
What can be said about this place. It's a magnificent shopping centre, it's got everything. The only disappointment is I cannot live in the building, as I'd never leave it. I knew it would be a good place when we were the mechanical contractor for the cinema.

  • 2/5 MyNameIsMud 1 year ago on Google
The downstairs foodcourt is usually very dirty. I hate eating there. You see the cleaning staff chatting in a corner whilst the tables go unwiped. And if you are lucky enough to find a clean table, good luck finding a clean chair without food on it. Last week I saw a cleaner using the same dirty cloth to wipe about 40 trays, then use it to wipe tables. No disinfectant sprays, just a dirty cloth. I've spoken to customer services a number of times and always get thanked for bringing it to their attention, but nothing changes. We've just been through a major pandemic. I find it deplorable that they have so little regard for hygiene.

Awesome selection of stores and a great food court that has all you’d want. Can be busy at times especially around 12-1pm but still has lots to offer inside the mall and with the many stores outside. Btw plenty of parking around the mall and in the parking garage

  • 3/5 Amanda R. 1 year ago on Google
All the usual franchise stores. Parking is a bit all over the place, to and walking through the car parking is not smooth sailing. No real walk paths from the cars to the main entrance, that we found. Plenty of eatery options, again the usual places. Clean and easy to navigate.

  • 5/5 Hester W. 1 year ago on Google
Far too hot. In winter we have to dress for outside temps but the malls are far too hot. Turn the temperature down! Staff can wear an extra layer to keep warm! Not everyone travels there by car ! I had to carry a heavy winter coat around and got sick of it so left.

  • 4/5 Graveyard G. 3 months ago on Google New
Has a grocery store, a cinema, a pharmacy, and a ridiculous amount of food options. That's all a mall needs to be a good mall. (Minus one star because there are like four different massage parlours and five hairdressers. Kinda excessive.)

  • 3/5 Prasenjit P. 1 year ago on Google
Lot's of empty shops space that means lot of businesses got shafted by these guys. Not very nice for business owners but few stores are great to visit in this mall. The mall management and the group needs to support businesses in this difficult time then only this place will do better.

  • 1/5 Reuben M. 5 months ago on Google
Do NOT go here. ALWAYS too crowded. Too noisy. I go about once a year (only because someone needs me to take them). Trying to get a park is stupid. I park on a side street, and walk a fee hundred metres. There are plenty of other malls, without going to Westfield. Especially DO NOT go on long weekends or Christmas. Just nuts !

Had lunch with friends at The Coffee Club in the Mall today at 1:30. Was disappointed with the calamari side. Overcooked and very small serving for $6. Chocolate milkshake was very nice but quite expensive at $7.60

Good selection of stores. Great air con to keep u cool. Clean toilets..very important. Plenty of safe parking . Food court is pretty good too. And..pak n save for your groceries..although it's more expensive than other pak n saves.

Close to my work! Have so much options for lunch (avoid Coffee Club at all costs though). Cinemas in here. Whenever I buy gifts this is where I go. Absolute helpful staffs and tidy toilets (although some aren't, specially that one next to H&M). Nonetheless very convenient place to shop in. Love it!

My favourite place to visit. Ample space to car park. You just entered into the place and you will love it.All the brands and other local shops are in.

Went at a very busy time (2 Nights before xmas) Even though it was busy, we had no trouble with queuing in any of the stores, even in Kmart we went straight through. More food varieties in the mall now and spread out from the food court means no so compacted when having a meal.

  • 4/5 Bernice F. 5 months ago on Google
Lovely mall Not a lot of shops but enough if you take the size of Christchurch into consideration. Most of the shops are boujee though except for the likes of Kmart and Pak 'n Save Parking can be very hit and miss although free Food court is cramped with a small variety and minimal seating space

It has the stores you'd expect, but the maps are pretty bad. I spent a lot of time wandering from one end to another as my target stores didn't appear where they seemed to be on the maps. Stores were marked on a 1 level map, but with lifts, escalators, and overhead walkways a multi level map would have been a lot less frustrating. One store looked like it was outside the farthest store... except it was one level ABOVE the furthest store out of sight! One seemed at the end of the main stores, but turned out to be across the street near an overhead walkway. I just gave up on the bad maps after a while.

Next time when you want to purchase a gift card for your friends, think again! I have been gifted a $100 gift card and loaded with $0 by Westfield. Complete ignorance for 2 months, and finally admitted after months of ignorance and receipt requests. They only started looking into the case after I exposed this to social media. This is Day number 78 and the case hasn't been resolved.

It's one of the busiest mall in Christchurch. With so many shops and parking spaces on all four sides of the area. Might turn into a city in the near Future.

I personally love Riccarton! Parking can be rough during school holidays and Christmas, but I don’t think it’s as bad as lots of people say. Favourite shops: Kmart, Typo, Whitcoulls, Dangerfield

Disgusting lack of care from this mall Have not fixed their elevator near timezone for the last two several weeks, even though it is the only way for people to get out of the parking level. A real true lack of care for anyone with a wheelchair or children. Abhorrent. Will be taking my business to another mall with more accessible options.

One of my favourite shopping centres in Christchurch. Lots of great stores, a play area for kids and food court has decent options. Also have Starbucks there

  • 1/5 Kate H. 10 months ago on Google
The toilets here are totally deplorable, i wouldnt even let my cat use them! Grubby finger smears on the doors and walls. Dust coating the cubicle walls. The floors are sticky and dirty. Hand soap dispensers not topped up. Hand dryers emitting warm stinky air. Didn't seem to notice any air fresheners...

I love this mall, as does my daughter. Two story levels of shopping and delicious choices of coffee and chocolate with the Theobrama Choco lounge and Thai, Indonesian dishes plus a huge Hoyts and hair salon, massage and nails plus beauty wax and threading upstairs aswell as the best American candy store and anime collectable store with Pop Stop t Aswell as great clothing stores Decjuba and Forever plus entrance to Farmers then everyone's favorite Starbucks and boba tea downstairs with a large ever changing foodcourt downstairs in the centre. Kmart, banks inside and across the road is KiwiBank BNZ Briscoes and a huge Timezone. Lots of shopping for kids and big kids alike plus your usual pak n save, Chemist life pharmacy and Westpac Noel leeming. Just jeans, Glassons, Rodney Wayne hair dresser and lovisa jewellery plus Mac make up next door the large bust Kmart. Postie plus near Coffee culture and ASB bank with many more shops and kiosks. It's the best largest mall in the South Island. Extra parking. Loads to do.

Pretty quiet for a bigger mall. Most things you need for all budgets. There's even a cheap hairdresser by the theater for less than $20 for a basic cut. The shops surrounding the mall can be good too, like Dumplings. They've got affordable Chinese, like fried rice with honey gravy for less than $5 per serving! It's really good
