Incredible little bar hidden away in Riga old town. All local alcohol, with some absolute gems with beer, liquers and gin. Do not miss the cherry negroni or rhubarb cider. Uldis the bartender is so informative and makes such amazing cocktails so effortlessly. Ask him to try the puzzle out - I guarantee you won't get it but it's fun trying 🤣 Super warm and cosy so great in winter too. All in all my favorite place I visited in Riga for drinks so make sure you find it!

Enjoyed every moment and every corner of this place. They have amazing drinks, atmosphere and person behind the bar counter. The bar introduced me to now my favourite Bohemian beer, which takes like child of kvass and dark beer, but also happiness 😁 You also have great possibility to find yoga master in you and get a free shot. It's super entertaining and challenging, but definitely unforgettable experience.

Awesome staff, really friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend it if you’re in the area. Was told that the basement is from the 1300’s. Also, everything they serve is Latvian, so great if you wanna try something local 👌

Good vibes and a good time. Great place to have a drink and meet some people. Staff was nice and helpful too. If you’re traveling through Latvia I recommend trying some Riga Black Balsam (if you don’t like spiced or mulled wine pass on it). They have different flavors, I’m glad I tried the Black Current. It’s typically served as a shot which can be seen next to the Pear Cider (also great).

We've been there a few times and also had the show to taste some drinks. The first time we went into the bar we were welcomed very warm and had a great time. The interior looks really special and different to other bars. The bartenders (Oldis and Ronalds) are also really friendly, we had great talks! They have a really nice selection of latvian drinks. I recommend their wine tasting, it was a really fun and interesting experience. We'll definitely go there again!

Go there just to meet and talk to Uldis the bartender. Such a kind and incredibly wise person with a fascinating story. Chatting with him was genuinely one of the highlights of my time in the Baltics. Oh and the drinks are all local and interesting too - just like Uldis!

Love that no one asked “do you have a reservation?” the second I walked in. Friendly kind bar service, not pretentious or snooty. But incredible atmosphere and decor. Prices good, although my drink wasn’t particularly strong. Very friendly bartender!

A tiny place squeezed in a cellar with steep steps. So are the guests - squeezed. Rather dark environment. Imagine you had to leave it quickly in case of emergency.. The place doesn't qualify my safety criteria. The ambiance praised my many here (brick vaults, the rooms are a former map store/ art gallery, if you know Riga) doesn't make up for the inconvenience - every building in Old Riga really has the same ambiance (equals, cellar) 😏

Unique bar, reasonable prices (you get what you pay for), perfect service and assistance received from the staff of the bar. The bar suggest local drinks. We definitely recommend, will not regret visiting for sure!

Good cozy place where you can get together with friends and sit comfortably, the prices of cocktails from about 8 - 9.5 euros, a small assortment of snacks, salted nuts, garlic breadcrumbs and smoked sausages, the bartender made aperol spritz, although that was not on the menu, for which a separate plus, in general I can advise

FOUND IT!⬇️ This place is amazing little find, unbelievable energy in the bricks of this Hidden gem 💎 in the centre of Riga old town latvia 🇱🇻 a must visit, not only is it underneath an historic building and designed amazingly inside but it's stocked with only Latvian alcohol so you can get a feel and a taste of Rigas history...brilliant staff to top it all off a must see place 🙏🏻😇🇱🇻💒

In 3 days in Riga, this bar was our favourite spot. Hidden gem, it was cosy, the decor was beautiful. All Latvian drinks. Brillaint bar staff who explained all the drinks and gave his recommendations. The challenge for a free shot was fun, met some lovely people. Would highly recommend for your Riga trip. Best bar in Riga.

What a find this was. We almost walked right past it but decided to pop our heads in, and ended up staying there for the whole night. Unique surroundings, comfortable chairs, friendly and very skilled bar staff (some of those cocktails were superb), and just an all round cosy and inviting atmosphere. The free shots after we'd paid up were a nice touch too. I can't recommend this place enough.

This was my favourite bar in riga! The cocktails are really nice. Bad boy lemonade was my favourite. An amazing scenic environment to chill and have a quiet drink with someone special. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. This is a must visit!

Such a fun little bar! The bartender was engaging and recommended a variety of Latvian drinks to try!! We had a dance party in back with the smoke machine. Definitely give this bar a visit!!!

Central location, the staff is always very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is amazing, it really has a medieval setting. Large selection of beers and drinks at a good price. International vibe.

Cosy small venue with one person working in it on the bar giving the personal & knowledgeable info on drinks. It consists of 3 small cellar type rooms darkly lit & decorated with cheap ornaments & decoration from B & M but it works. It cheap n cheerful in decor but average/expensive in price. It's the atmosphere that makes the price seem worth it. It's quaint, quirky & cosy that would be deemed a health n safety problem in u.k but accepted in Europe. One W.C for the whole venue but Its fine!

Hey, we was there and celebrating 2022 coming. Probably man behind bar was the over best barman i have met. Beer and wine are so good trust me i have tasted so many beers around the world dark lager one of the best i taste. Plus owner give us free shots of special drink if you will not come here you never know what it is. 100% recommended

Small, super cool underground bar in a very old spot. Serves Latvian drinks only. Not to be missed. Do NOT challenge the bartender to arm wrestle.

This was the best bar we went to in Riga. Great experience, local drinks and hospitality. Uldis is passionate about the bar and shared his knowledge about local spirits. Do try to taste as many as you can. The vibe of the place is excellent and the prices good. We visited both nights of our stay and would go again if we had more time. Thanks for everything Uldis! Very chill bar. The owner is nice. The main point is that there's only rock music on. If that isn't your thing this bar probably isn't for you. If you do like rock music this is a great place to chill with friends. There's a challenge the owner might give you in exchange for a free drink. Good luck!

This place was definitely worth the visit. Really cosy little bar with super comfy seating and lush lighting and great ambience. Really friendly bar staff. I'd recommend the pink lady cocktail. Very chilled out :)

the atmosphere was very unique, nothing like I've ever seen before, but it's only added to the charm :) the bartender was the nicest, he kindly explained to us what the concept of the bar was, we had the nicest time! sadly there were no snacks at the time we were there :D but it was an enjoyable experience and I'd definitely recommend to check this place out.
