After a great day of being on the water this restaurant has amazing service, such good food and many choices in a great atmosphere. It is reasonably priced and the food is absolutely delicious for sure make a stop here!

Best onion soup in Cabarete, period. This restaurant is a true gem. Stefan is one of the best hosts I've met. He's kind, well-versed, and turns your visit into a true fine dining experience. If you eat meat, I recommend the duck, it's tender and delicious. If you're a vegetarian, the salads are amazing. Le bistro definitely has an option for everyone. Make sure you call beforehand and make a reservation, especially on the high season, and don't forget they're closed on Sundays!

It was our first time in town and we were pleasantly surprised by the delicious meals at every restaurant we’ve dined. Restaurant Le Bistro was our favorite. (We ate there twice) and will definitely return again to try more delicious impressionable, unforgettable dishes. Service was top notch and the coconut fish is amazing.

Seared duck breast w cream pepper sauce 😋 absolutely 💯. Onion tart and duck roulettes are also highly recommended 👌. Sitting ambiance and service is one of my favorites in Cabarete. Fyi, the Vanilla flan dessert should not be missed so make some extra space for it.

Food was below average for Cabarete and clearly miles away from the typical French cuisine that we expected. The owner is very friendly but that does not help the taste. The place is complelety overprized.

Was out for brunch and decided to wait a few minutes for them to open, completely worth it. Everything I had was top notch; juice, soup, and sandwich. The flavors and spices were perfectly done. Will definitely visit again. The owner is also very friendly and takes amazing care of everyone.

This is a small French restaurant but with a Greta service and delicious food. Had the chance to enjoy couple appetizers and main course and everything was delicious. Can have a quiet chic romantic feeling and night if indoors.

Without a doubt, the best meal we have had in Dominican Republic. For French cuisine lovers, this is the spot. Aside from the excellent food, Stephan the owner is so attentive and provides top notch service to his clientele. I had the steak tartare, it was prepared perfectly. One had the 3 cheese cream penne pasta, which was to die for. The other two had the oven baked steak; a unique dish that was also decadent, with "smashed" style potatoes as a side. Thank you Stephan for such a wonder dining experience, we are now regulars!

Delightful, authentic food. Marvelous service, truly great. And the atmosphere is just what we need more of in Cabarete. Be sure to go if you can. Oh and the value is excellent.

The service was amazing the waitress was kind and friendly. The food was ok. It was next to the areca hotel that we went to. We decided this place bc of the review and we didn’t want pizza. Maybe in the evenings the food /chef is different. We had lunch on Saturday afternoon.

Stephen is fantastic. We were in caberete for two weeks and ate here 3 times. Great service and great food. Really good food. And very reasonable prices. 5 stars from me and my wife.

Le Bistro is such an amazing place we came here twice for our 5 days trip! It’s not fancy pretentious food, it’s like the best comfort home cooked French food you can get. I’m from NYC and I don’t particularly prefer French cuisine in the city, but I really LOVED the food at Le Bistro! We will definitely be coming back when we come back to DR for kite surfing again.

The food is really excellent and Stephan the owner is a great host. He gave us good advice on not ordering too much, which was really appreciated. The tarte à l'oignon was awesome.

The highest quality food I've had in Cabarete, made with passion and skill. Cozy atmosphere and not too crowded, but recommended to make a reservation because all of the tables are usually reserved.
