Wow is the only word I can use to describe this place! Jokobsbaai is so small. I convinced my pretentious boyfriend to finally stay here and we were not disappointed at all. We don’t need much but our room was fantastic. We will definitely stay here again. What we were disappointed with was the lack of accommodating restaurants. The Hungry Monk is basically all there was and they are literally trying to win the award for most pretentious restaurant EVA! I personally would not recommend going there. We were looking for Weskus Plek and got a Hangry Monk instead! Don’t go there if your like me and wanting to relax! Ask Wessel from the Kwaaibaai guest house for better suggestions.

Stunning accommodation with interesting nooks and books. Luxurious without being pretentious. Wessel is a sensitive and very accommodating host with nothing being too much trouble. Well manicured garden in which to relax, read and enjoy a glass of wine whilst looking out at sea waiting for that stunning sunset. 10 out of 10 for an all round superb breakaway spot.

Incredible atmosphere, the host really made us feel welcome and made sure we had everything we needed. The breakfast is highly recommended and the location is perfect for a tranquil escape for a weekend trip. 5 star accommodation, beautiful rooms and lounge area, filled with tasteful decor including genuinely intriguing art, antiques and literature well integrated into the experience. We will definitely return regularly. Look no further

Spectacular guest house with amazing food!

Wessel the owner, a kind caring host who waited up for our late arrival. The decor beautiful and elegant inside and in the garden. Super neat and clean. We stayed a day longer than planned, purely because we enjoyed our stay so much.

It was an absolute pleasure staying at Klokkiebosch. Wessel was the ultimate host, his company made for a truly wonderful evening. A great example of West Coast hospitality and life. The seaview is spectacular as well. The food was to die for! You should really make a point to visit.
