Turn your South Africa safari trip into the adventure of a lifetime. My wife and I highly recommend planning that Africa sojourn with Megan Warrington of Discover Africa. Our trip exceeded all expectations. She picked out great properties in the bush and Johannesburg. She made sure each property met our request for two separate beds. She helped plan/execute special occasions during the trip: 1. A chauffeured, custom tour of the Johannesburg's fashion scene. 2. A dinner in the bush and sleep out under the stars featuring cocktails, linen tablecloth dinner, dedicated chef, barman, guide and 24-hour security. It was super romantic, a scene from a reality TV show. Flawlessly handled all the in-country transits, even chartering a plane to deal with flight disruptions caused by flooding in Kwazulu-Natal. Megan kept us continually posted throughout the planning and right up to Day 1. Before and after the trip, Megan helped us contact property managers. Her efforts helped us acquire a very memorable special coffee served at one resort. We hope to return to Africa and if we do, Megan will be our first call. My family of 4 had a fantastic trip to South Africa and Zimbabwe with Discover Africa organized by Antoinette. Our trip was seamless and our safaris, activities and excursions were all incredible. Using a Cape Town based travel agent was very particularly helpful and Antoinette offered great suggestions. I had a question during my trip and Discover Africa and Antoinette were readily available to help. I highly recommend Antoinette and Discover Africa and will use them again for our next trip to Africa!

We had a wonderful 2-week trip to South Africa and Zimbabwe! Megan was great with communication and helping me adjust my trip last minute when I missed my connecting flight to JNB. Everything went smoothly and I did not feel stressed even though this was my first time traveling abroad since the start of COVID-19. I plan on recommending my friends to Discover Africa! Hopefully, I can also plan another trip to Africa in the near future.

Megan W (Discover Africa) paved the path for an amazing experience for us! Megan actively and proactively kept communications flowing with us during the pre-trip planning and leading up to the start of the trip itself. She even reached out during our trip to make sure we received communications from the airlines about changes to our domestic flights. We were very pleased with her attention to customer service and satisfaction. We spent a few days in Cape Town, and we were pleased with our accommodations and our day tours while there, all arranged by Megan and with very good value for the money. Additionally, Megan facilitated our flights to/from and our stay at Rattrays Camp on Mala Mala Game Reserve. What an incredible experience! Mala Mala exceeded our expectations in terms of accommodations, food and drink, staff, customer service, and the overall experience. Very high value for the money. Thank you, Megan and Discover Africa, for an amazing experience! We will definitely recommend you to others, and we will be returning customers when we are ready for our next adventure.

I know it took several months to get it booked and you never made me feel like I was bothering you with all my emails asking for itinerary changes and bombarded you with all my questions. BRILLIANT HOLIDAY Decided to go on my first safari this month so reviewed the various relevant Travel Agents and Discover Africa seemed to be among the best Soon discovered they are indeed excellent based in Cape Town and the advice, service and holiday were wonderful My first contact with DA was with Vihann which started with a video call where we discussed in depth what I had in mind Low and behold the quotation arrived almost the next day for a 4 day Safari in Greater Kruger followed by a 4 day sightseeing tour of Cape Town which were just what I wanted The service from Vihann was excellent with him always replying to my many questions within one or two working days! The Kambaku River Sands safari lodge in Timbavati was excellent as were the tours in Cape Town

Our trip to South Africa & Zimbabweb was a trip of a life time. Megan prepared an incredible itinerary for us and she went out of her way to help us. Her knowledge of travelling in Africa & resources available to her make organising a trip & enjoying it seamless & wonderful.

We have just completed our third trip organized by Megan at Discover Africa and as usual it was outstanding. The trip was to the Okavango Delta and Megan's appreciation of our needs resulted in in a wonderful overall experience which fully met our expectations. Our trip included flights into the Delta and accommodations in the Kwando Concession. The Camps were well run and appointed and the guides were knowledgeable and helpful so not only did we get to see many animals but were also treated to a detailed explantation of the birds, trees and bushes but also their use in traditional medicine. We got real close to everything We were accompanied by friends who were doing their first safari and were in word, speechless! Thank you Megan and Discover Africa

Adelle Bell and Discover Africa planned our trip to Tanzania and it was a trip of a lifetime. We stayed in amazing places and saw mind blowing things. If you're going to Africa you must use them.

We had a 9N/ 10D tour planned by Discover Africa. Our experience was nothing short of AMAZING!! We thoroughly enjoyed our entire experience. We landed at Johannesburg and were there just for 2 days. We covered the Apartheid Museum, visited Soweto and a Joburg City Tour. We were then transferred to Hoyo Hoyo Safari Lodge. Our drive there was so beautiful. We already spotted one of the Big5 on the way itself. Our guide for the day also stopped at Azul pitstop and we spotted Sables, Rhinos, Impalas and other antelopes. We could already feel the thrill of our Safari experience. On arriving at Hoyo Hoyo, we were welcomed by the manager himself and shortly left on our afternoon game drive. On our first game drive itself, we spotted a Pride of 10 lions and it was such a joy to watch them. Not to forget, our wonderful Safari Guide Ms. Jana Du Plesis. She made sure to give us the best experience on each of our game drives. In the next few game drives we spotted the Leopard and Buffalos along with so many other animals and birds. For those of you who have never experienced wildlife and nature so closely, this is a MUST TRY and we are lucky to have spotted all the BIG 5! We only wish we spent a few more days at Kruger. After 2 days at Hoyo Hoyo, we travelled on the Panorama route to witness breathtakingly beautiful landscapes. We then stayed at Olivers- White River for the night. This was one of our best stays and we absolutely loved the property, food, and just the whole vibe. Coming to the last leg of our trip, we flew the next morning from Mpumalanga Airport to Cape Town. Cape Town is by far one of the most splendid cities I've visited. The landscapes, the drives, the wine tours, each and everything was SO AMAZING! We also added a shark cage dive tour at the last minute and Megan at Discover Africa was so prompt in replying to us and helping us with our last minute changes. She was so kind to even answer to all our queries even much before the trip and has always been so prompt. All in all, South Africa should definitely be on one's bucket list. Thank You Discover Africa for this experience and we hope to be back in SA soon.

Our dream honeymoon was to do safaris in Tanzania and beach time in Zanzibar while feeding our adventurous hearts and she exceeded all those expectations! Our trips organized by Discover Africa were amazing. Matthys put together three incredible packages and worked with us throughout the entire journey to make everything perfect. We went to Botswana, Namibia and Tanzania with Discover Africa, and had a stay in Cape Town between two of the safari trips. Matthys was right there when we wanted to make small changes to a flight and a hotel. We absolutely could not have been happier, they exceeded our expectations completely.

From the outset - when we discussed our budget, our accommodation preferences and what we expected to see - we were impressed with Vihann and his attention to detail. Our trip started at Kilimanjaro airport and included a game drive at Lake Manyara on the way to Ngorongoro. A day in the Crater followed by a flight to Kogatende and four days in the Northern Serengeti. The travel arrangements and accommodation all worked as planned, our guides were extremely knowledgeable - on both animals and birds - and helpful and considerate. We saw a huge variety of wildlife in our week in Tanzania - including wildebeest crossing the Mara River and the Big Five over two days. They delivered everything we hoped for and more.
