I
started
working
out
with
Romel
when
I
was
a
few
months
pregnant.
I
wanted
to
make
sure
I
was
still
pushing
myself,
but
most
importantly
was
being
SAFE
while
working
out.
Romel
always
found
an
incredible
balance
of
making
sure
I
was
getting
a
personalized,
and
challenging,
yet
fun,
workout
that
was
tailored
to
me,
my
pregnancy,
and
how
I
was
feeling
each
week.
We
restarted
training
again
once
I
hit
the
two-month
mark
postpartum.
Just
like
during
the
pregnancy,
Romel
ensured
the
exercises
were
appropriate
to
slowly
return
to
working
out.
The
intensity
has
ramped
up
each
week,
but
we've
made
sure
it's
suitable
for
where
I
am
in
my
postpartum
journey,
just
like
we
did
while
I
was
pregnant.
Best
yet,
I've
been
able
to
bring
my
baby
to
a
few
workouts,
which
is
an
incredible
benefit
of
personal
training.
At
3
and
½
months
postpartum,
I
am
now
in
better
shape
than
I
was
prior
to
pregnancy.
Yes,
I
had
to
buy
new
jeans
after
the
baby
was
born
-
but
in
a
smaller
size
than
what
I
had
in
my
closet
before
I
got
pregnant.
Weight
loss
was
NEVER
pushed
and
was
not
a
goal
nor
was
it
discussed
during
pregnancy
or
postpartum
workout
sessions.
Instead,
we
focused
on
strength
and
building
a
foundation
of
strong
workouts
and
this
has
been
an
added
bonus!
