Food here is on par with home standards, although it's pricey. But you get the quality you're paying for. My order was through e-catering, and as promised the food was delivered to my seat on reaching Salem, hot and with all accompaniments. Arguably one of the best food you can have in Indian railways, and definitely 1 crore times better than the platform and pantry food. P.S: I've seen pantry guys fill water from the toilets, to be used for cooking. You have been warned!

I have ate in so many A2B, for them I'm giving this rating. Whereas this branch is NOT OPEN, IT IS CLOSED PERMANENTLY. But it is showing as open in Google. Requesting hotel management to update it properly, so that people will not waste their time in searching and going to this CLOSED BRANCH.

Tasty masala dosa, chutneys and sambar. Pongal was a bit dry but could find a lot of peppercorns - nice. Just opposite railway station - filter coffee was also good.

The buffet breakfast was ok, but they did not offer any dosa varieties. The idli's were not refilled on time. The atmosphere was clean and friendly with prompt service. Tast e was ok but not great.
