This is the 4th time i am having the food here and the food here which they are serving is superb.my favourite is parotta with mutton chukka and naatukozhi chukka.dhum khuska is my all time favourite.i loved it.will have the food again.every one must try atleast once to have a delicious food.

The Food tastes like an home good they use pure ground 🥜 nut oil! That’s the cause of pure taste’s and the gravy tastes awesome, chicken kothu parrota was good but if you’re go far it ask for little dry for the kothu parrota, Remaining stuff everything is good. That’s a hidden hotel in Salem.

Found another good non veg hotel in Salem, on the way to Bangalore, in from of Radisson Blue. 101% better than the other mess which is nearby. Tried mutton pepper dry, chicken fry, bun parotta, parotta, chicken kari dosai and Kallaki. Each and every dish was good. First time I tried bun parotta and it was excellent.

Average tasted biriyani not as per the reviews....chicken chukka served haven't cooked properly ....spices in the biriyani was too high and their rasam just a hot water with salt ...so selvimess and other local hotels are better not worth going that far from town ....and you reviewers and youtubers don't give much hype to this kinda hotels

There is no menu card provided... Gravy is too worst taste I never ate.. We ordered chicken provided only bone...cheating.. My request not to cheat people through food.. Thts not gud

Below average food Seeing lot of good reviews..stopped at this place..the humble ambiance is all ok but the food is very much below average..we ordered both chicken and mutton biriyani..both has the same taste..basically same rice with some pieces thrown on top..and the chicken 65 was very hard and dry..there is one person to cook so whatver is not ready will take time..overall - very below expectations

The ambience, the owner and the stewards were so friendly and coordinated very well, we went for a team outing, all the dishes were very well prepared, especially the fish fry which we specially requested!! However the options for vegetarians can improve, for vegans there is only the dosas and parotta variety was available! Even though the taste was in par with the speciality restaurants. To sum up a hidden treasure in the outskirts of the city, for those travelling on the NH7 a must try option! All the best team!

Except parotta nothing was good … Instead of naatu kozhi they provided broiler chicken… Worst chicken ever tasted and I tried chilli chicken fried … taste was not good .. Had very bad experience….

Very worst Hotel. Very very poor customer service. They won't respect customer. Cheating hotel. Everyone one in this hotel they will show only angry face. Simply I wound say stupid owner and servers. They will treat u like slaves.. very very worst hotel... Worst Experience! Never ever suggest this hotel. It's a loss of your money... The staff over here is not cooperative they don't know how to talk to customers. All rowdy guy's. Frauds, stupids..

I had lunch today at Chellamma. The stand out dish was Nattu Kozhi pichi pottadhu and mutton pepper fry. The kalaki omelette was absolutely great and would visit again and again for their kind hospitality and taste of the food 👏👏👏👏👏

The very best in South Indian cuisine. You must try the mutton Biryani it is first class! Also the peppered omelette and all the gravies with dosai. Great customer services, very friendly, catering for everything asked for. I'll be going there regularly while I'm here in Salem.

A good place for Non veg foodies. Good varieties of food. Tasty Gravy which makes it a multi visit hotel.

For non veg lovers who'd like to go for a dinner, its a very good option. Especially, their chukka gravy is excellent. tiffin dishes r good. Dont know abt the rice dishes

Atleast learn business strategies and services from this guys. They are young entrepreneur but rocking in taste and service Owner of Chellama kindly put an another shop inside city ad they are making people fool and money minded business. You can only show them real taste with affordable cost

The food here is really top notch, especially try biriyani here for a spectacular taste. The bun parotta here, with its chukka gravy is really ultimate and I would recommend all to try here. Also u can try idhicha naatu kozhi fry.
