Really horrendous. I have had better experiences in other Anjappar outlets. This was way below the expectation from an ordinary restaurant. Food served was stale. There was dearth of working staff. I saw one customer lose his patience and began taking the dishes from the counter to his table. Most of the items were unavailable. I could go on and on. I would advise you to skip this place. There are lot for good restaurants in Salem but this is not it !

Heard a lot of hype and positive review from many friends regarding this place. With that expectations we n wife visited this place. Ordered chicken biryani. Regarding the taste it's below average quality. the masala taste was over powering. And it tasted slightly better maybe due to burnt masala or excess. Second thing was chicken was under cook. And the size and quantity of the chicken they served is shameful.. just 2 small( you can see the picture ) in one and in another just one piece. When asked for pickle they where like hearing for first time. Extra raitha to come it was around 10 minutes plus. Hand wash area and washroom we're not cleaned and it was stinking in the ladies washroom as per wife's opinion. Ambience 3/5 Quality 1/5 Taste 1/5 Price 3/5 Cleanliness 1/5

Comparitively below average than any other anjappar. One cannot expect the best food. It will surely disappoint. All you can have the best is regular moving dishes. If you ought for some speical dishes its your risk. Hygienic and cleanliness is poor. The glasses they served for water is full of stains and scales of dirt. They dont even properly washed. Above all the experience is not good.

Anjappar is typically a family restaurant whereas we can get the south indian/chettinad foods according to my experience in Chennai. Here @ Salem - Menu was a little bit over priced on some of dishes, especially chicken items since the quantity is very less. For an example, we've ordered Chicken65 which was for Rs.220 as per the menu and the billed cost with GST of 5% was Rs.231 (Refer the bill). Briyani Items were OK as expected. They have served the briyani with a very nice chicken gravy, enough fresh Raitha. Ambiance is good and well-maintained. Please don't expect for separate cabins for family/couple. Major problem is here for parking 4 - Wheelers. Because, there is no separate CAR Parking available!!

Totally disappointing. Feels like a mutton curry mixed with some water.

Awesome food and Great service. Travellers going or coming from yercad, a must visit.

Such a authentic restaurant for foodies..... if u wanna try something purley a touch of spicy south indian you can go for it.....🥐🥐🥘🥖🥨service is too good... overall had a good experience at anjappar😋😋😋😋🤩🤩 and don't worry veggies... even for veggies they're are proving such a excellent food.....🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

Just loved it. Had non veg meals and almost all the curries were really tasty and different for a keralite. Had kalakki (soft fluffy scrambled egg cum omlette in chicken gravy) - yummy. Vegetable biryani ws also good.

Food was good but the hotel is in a hard to reach place.

One of the worst quality food are being served. It took more than 20mins to took order and the servants are very bad..no proper response..to find particul food is available or not almost took till I finish the dinner. However during that time there is no crowd too only 8 people are having their food in entire hotel. I have ordered mutton biryani from the view itself we can easily tell that it was prepared in morning itself..taste is like hell..I think owner is running the show only for money with no quality/taste of food. I request to do please take care of reputation of this name, else it will be lost the customer respect. I have eaten in many Anjappar around Tamil Nadu, but this is wrost unfortunately it's in my home town Salem.
