A vegetarian food restaurant with limited variety. The ambiance is nice. The quality and taste is good. But hygiene is to be improved, like hand wash at washbasin is not working. Staff's service and cooperation is good.

One of the best vegetarian hotels in Salem. Mini tiffen is one of the best choice for breakfast. It contains kesari, cup of umpa, one idly, one vadai, one mini masala dosai and a filter coffee with sambar and two varieties of chutney combo. Service is good. Atmosphere is neat and clean. Best hotel for family visit.

Pros Relatively good ambience, taste and service. This restaurant has a party hall in second floor while air conditioned dining is in the second floor. Cons Only road side parking is available. Meal card Sodexo was accepted earlier. Nowadays not accepted. Roads near the restaurent has open drainages and does not look nice. Though it is civic body's responsibility to keep the city clean, restaurant management could influence to get surroundings look neat and clean.

An excellent veg place tucked away in fairlands , Salem. Neat and clean. Good service. Try the breakfast combo, vadas and ghee podi dosa. The vadas were especially nice.

Worst hotel ever.. Last week sunday, I went to this hotel with my family, it was fully crowded and after sometime we got 2 tables.. We ordered 6 meals and we have 3 kids aged from 1-6. My brother was feeding some food from his meal plate to his daughter(age 1.5yr old). One of the management person came and shouting at us, saying that you should not share food with babies and if you want order it separately for kids.. we felt so embarrassed.. behavior and manner was too harsh and we had a big argument over there.. Still management didn't gave any excuse to us.. Worst customer service.. Never visiting again ..

It’s a very small grocery store where you get almost everything. From biscuits, chocolates, juices, breakfast items, vegetables, sweets, sugar etc. their service is very good. The biggest concern is there is no air conditioning and it’s super hot inside the store. We have to be really quick otherwise it gets sweaty. If they fix that but I would give them five stars.

The hotel serves high quality vegetarian food. The price for special meals is very high in my opinion and it has to be reduced for the standard they offer. The rest of the side dishes are good and our family enjoyed the time in the AC hall.

Overpriced..The taste and the quality of food is just average. Ambience was good. Parking can be problem if you’re driving a car because there isn’t much space in front of the hotel.

Sri Sai Vihar at fairlands in Salem, was an eatery that came recommended for it's meals and tiffin items. The restaurant that features an all vegetarian menu had humble beginnings, starting out as mess that served Tamil meals over 40 years ago. We have ordered for special meals here that was great, simple and home style food that was cooked with lot of love and they served at extremely honest prices. If you love your vegetarian food and looking to savour some delicious vegetarian meal make sure you stop by at Sri Sai Vihar, the next time you find yourself in Salem or driving around Salem because Sri Sai Vihar is definitely worth that stop.

Visited for a lunch here. To break the normal Non-veg routine. Hotel looked busy that time. There were two floors for dining. First floor is a non AC and it was too crowded. So went to the second floor with AC not crowded. Ambience is good compared to the first floor. Started with Noodle Soup. The taste is good. The good thing with the soup is we can get portions like 1 by 2. Rating-3/5 Mushroom 65 is also good not too oily and masala. Rating-4/5 Keema Parotta Not a good one. It was too salty luckily they served with onion raita. Rating-2/5 Mini meals It is a compact size meal served with 3 variety rice(Lemon, Tomato and Curd), 1 appalam and 1chapathi with veg gravy Lemon Rice - personally I don't like lemon rice so leaving it Tomato Rice is okayish type. Curd Rice is so fresh and good loved it. Chapathi is half cooked and with the dip of that gravy it is also an above average dish. Rating-3 Lastly a Rasmalai good but not compared to our favourite Gupta One suggestion for the management if you are reading this I don't know there was an option like this also the server didn't mentioned about it. We feel like there can be an option for choosing the variety rice. For example I don't like lime rice, so I can choose other variety rice like mint rice, bismillabath, Tarmarind rice. Or else one mandatory variety rice with 2 other options. Overall experience good ambience in AC section with above average food. Unless you want eat between the busy tables go for Non AC section. You are good to go as per your preference.

An excellent choice for vegetarians in the city. Went for lunch. Food was good and didn't hamper the purse. The choice of ingredients in the food was excellent more particularly The Curd Rice with that Urad dal mixed in it and the ghee parota was super delicious. AC hall is well maintained in good ambience by a group of Lady workers. Food was served within 5 mins. Only thing to worry about is Car Parking. Apart from that everything was excellent.

Sai vihar hotel - A vegetarian food restaurant at fairlands in salem with limited variety. Car parking is a menace (street parking). The taste is good and service is quick as well. Lack of hygiene in the wash area. To access the rest room - u need to cross the hand wash area - kitchen wash area - then comes the rest room - I guess they forgot to construct the rest room, later made it behind the kitchen.

This is an excellent restaurant known for its outstanding service. I highly recommend it, and their catering services are top-notch. When you have a small group and require both excellent service and live cooking counters, this is the place to go. The staff here is exceptionally polite and very skilled at what they do.

3 Decades of services by this hotel, and still on. If you go by a car, then parking is a menace. Street parking only, at owner's risk. A/c hall in 1st floor available. Apart from that food is always great here. Quality is very good and maintaining your taste buds, to its fullest. Simply, if you want authentic vegetarian food go and enjoy.

South Indian food was good, but don't try North indian starters here. Should try Rose milk.

Based on Kripal sir review in his YouTube channel, visited Sri Sai Vihar nearby to NH44 Salem. Food was amazing and staff is very friendly. Items we tried - Kesari, Mysore masala roast,Essence dosa, idli vada & filter coffee. Cost could be Approx 100 per person

I was here on two occasions. I have tried their breakfast idli and dosa. And also I tried their South Indian thali. It's home style cooking and the food felt very light. Only disadvantage is that they don't have parking.

The Podi dosa and the ghee roast stand out among the dosas. The Pongal is the best here. Special mention to all the readers - They serve some amazing lip smacking parathas in the noon and the chilli paratha is the best.

Horrible. Staffs were unethical very rude and did not have any concern for customers requirements. Got irritated and did not like to continue and walked off. Simple my requirement was to add a chaur to the existing table to accomodate 1 child as the 5th person for which one said ok ans the other said move away from.that table and when asked the 1st waiter he said i dont care qhat he said u can use the other table after we tried to sit then he said sit cramped as it is on the way.

Morning breakfast was excellent. Very excited to get that again. But in dinner u were totally disappointed me. What makes u to serve the excess sambar in ur lunch menu to get used for roasts served in my dinner table.. U can be cost effective but don't think we will accept that. U lost my respect with u(which u got on Breakfast) at the dinner. Really disappointed.

Food is awesome, I liked the taste. I felt the table is not arranged properly because of lack of space. There's is no menu card. All the cons u will forgot when you taste food.

Good place to visit for best vegetarian dishes. In the case of dining it is better to try the AC hall on the first floor. It really gets crowded in peak timing like late evening best to visit early evenings. Parking is the only issue.

Simple and tasty Veg meals. The tiffin items are good too. Service is quick. One star less for their so-so Coffee and lack of hygiene in the Wash area. Also, to access the Rest room, you need to enter via the Kitchen which was kind of weird. Parking is on the streets.
