One
of
the
best
view
points
in
Yercaud,
can
see
Salem
city
on
a
clear
day.
It’s
also
the
worst
maintained
place.
The
view
is
awesome,
nothing
else
is.
Parking
-
is
free
on
the
road
sides,
People
park
on
both
the
side
of
the
already
narrow
road
Entry
fee
-
None,
can
spend
15-20
minutes
max
Timing
-
None
-
-
it’s
a
open
view
point,
but
can’t
see
much
after
sun
set.
From
Parking
it’s
a
100+
meter
walk
through
shops/small
eateries
up-to
the
view
point
spoiling
the
ambience
of
a
natural
view
point
with
their
make
shift
setups
😠
There’s
a
telescope
room
where
one
can
use
telescope
for
a
small
fee
to
see
few
spots
up
close.
The
shelter
for
the
view
point
and
adjoining
areas
are
full
of
thrash
and
food
wastes
from
people
littering.
It’s
an
eyesore
to
look
down
and
see
all
the
plastic
bottles
and
food
wrappers
on
the
mountain.
Beware
of
the
monkeys,
they
are
plenty
and
won’t
hesitate
to
snatch
any
food
item
😀
Over
commercialization
and
poor
upkeep
spoils
the
overall
a
supposedly
amazing
experience
😔
🤞
