Not great attraction. You will have good hill view and one telescope available to view near by location at 5rs. Considering yercaud is small hill. You can consider this a one of the spot. Nothing much you can expect. There is no entrance fee for this place. Nearby you have Gents seat and way to botanical garden.

Nice place. Had limited parking space but it's free of charge. For a pay and telescope which is aimed at a temple somewhere down in the hill done 1500 ft down. They charge ₹5 (as in Oct 2022) to see the temple through the telescope. Post day income due to spring the temple through the telescope would by much more than the temple's income. The place has few fruit shops, snacks shops and ice cream shops. With all that the area had few view points but lots of monkeys. Beware of them, these monkeys know over the years on how to scare humans and get what they want. Please help to keep the area clean.

One of the best view points in Yercaud, can see Salem city on a clear day. It’s also the worst maintained place. The view is awesome, nothing else is. Parking - is free on the road sides, People park on both the side of the already narrow road Entry fee - None, can spend 15-20 minutes max Timing - None - - it’s a open view point, but can’t see much after sun set. From Parking it’s a 100+ meter walk through shops/small eateries up-to the view point spoiling the ambience of a natural view point with their make shift setups 😠 There’s a telescope room where one can use telescope for a small fee to see few spots up close. The shelter for the view point and adjoining areas are full of thrash and food wastes from people littering. It’s an eyesore to look down and see all the plastic bottles and food wrappers on the mountain. Beware of the monkeys, they are plenty and won’t hesitate to snatch any food item 😀 Over commercialization and poor upkeep spoils the overall a supposedly amazing experience 😔 🤞

Go there to spot a lot of monkeys, get a great view of the hill station. They also have a telescope to see things from up close. Pay 5 Rs to have a look. Fun thing about Yercaud is that most of the places have these public telescopes which can be used to see the hill station and spot a few known places up close.

The view was no doubt beautiful but there were a lot of monkeys so I was afraid that they shouldn't take my phone 😂. The place is easily reachable no problem as such and there are many shops nearby where you can eat and all and nearby is Gents seat you can visit that too just 500m away it is.

Visited this place in 2017 by school trip with friends. Men are attracted towards women. Like that Lady's seat is much attracted among others. Don't know why lol. There's not so much to see here. But this a cool, calm and beautiful place. The one thing that attracted me here is the quote in photo " Yercaud has one one hospital but 3 cementries". Nice place to visit while visiting Yercaud. You can take so many photos here

Amazing view point. You can view hair pin curves from this point and stunning hills around. It’s open place and has no entry fee. It has telescopic view too to enjoy the view point.

The telescopic view is very interesting, it can be used to get the sight of a famous resort which is 4-5kms away from the point. Very cool place.

Best place to visit. Amazing view at the top. Cool breeze. Nearby snacks shops available. Car parking. Visitors should take care of their personal belongings because more monkeys are around the place. Lovely time you can spend with family and kids around 2 to 3 hours. Visit Early morning or else by evening after 3 pm to feel good climate during summer.

One of the must visit place in Yercaud. View is breathtaking. You can see the Zig Zag roads laid on mountains which is ultimately scenic. There was a small setup as a view point from there you can completely see the beauty of salem city. But the place is not neatly maintained. All you can see around is monkeys and their nasty things. Small shops are there just for snacking.

When we reached it was raining slightly. Still it's a very good experience to look down the hair pins we passed to reach the top. The wind is strong.

Amazing view point of Yercaud hills. The view from top is breathtaking. There's also a small setup where you use telescope and view the faraway points (for 5rs). This place looks way better in person than in photos. Must visit viewpoint in Yercaud

Me and family went to ladies seat during Diwali holiday at 7pm to watch Crackers from top and it was awesome experience from top 😍👌.. Chill climate Snacks at hill top Good parking space for cars and vehicles Safe view point Less hike / trek Family friendly spot Best time to visit sunrise / sunset Best for photoshoot near trees in sideways Because of snacks shop the place is unclean and full of debris, cleanliness needs to be improved 👍

Was an okayish viewpoint. Had to drive a bit to get here. The view was okayish and not very great. Can see the winding roads below and Salem city. Gents point, children's point, Heritage park and rose garden are nearby. One of the main places to see in Yercaud

A view point in Yercaud hills. Nice view of the Salem area and hair pin bend road to Yercaud. Only basic facilities. When I visited here monkeys occupied the view point(they are not violent)

Great sunset view, but very crowded. Beware of monkeys, don't carry any food items or water bottles

View point was ok. But no basic requirements like rest room. Also there is no provision of water. All items or things selling was costly. Example 30 Rs 2 litre water bottles selling at 50 Rs. Not cleaned and no maintenance work. Everywhere you can see trash.

Excellent view but poorly maintained. One should also remember there are a lot of monkeys in this place and can consider leaving out food items unless you want to feed them.

This is one of the listed place to visit in Yercaud. You can see a good view of Salem from this point. There are lots of snack shops at this place. There's enough space to park cars. There are additionally Gent seats, Rose garden, Botanical garden, Silk worm can be visited in this location. You can spend good 3 hours in these locations.

This would be the best shot of the entire trip as you can experience the scenic view of the mountains through the telescope which only costs you 5/-. Locate the temple which is almost 1500ft below 🙏 Telescope arena will be closed at 5pm so plan accordingly Beware of monkey mamaz Food stalls available for chilling

I wish this place is maintained much better than what it is now. I think these places needs to be given on lease to private companies so that they can invest and beautify these places. Of course they may charge some fees but atleast it will be neat and will be as per international standards. This place has such a good potential of making it a world class view point. Since Yercaud is popularly known as poor man's Ooty they are also maintaining it poorly.

The Lady's seat is located next to Gent's seat and you can walk to this place. This place has its name after a white English lady who used to spend time in the evenings watching the panoramic view from this rock. You can see Salem city and ghat road from this viewpoint. You can enjoy the sunset view in the evening. On a clear day, you can see Mettur Dam from the manmade telescope at this place. Location: 2.5Km from Yercaud Lake and 3Kms from Busstand Mode of Travel: Hire a car or auto. Timings: 08:00 Am to 06:30 Pm Ticket: Adult: Rs. 10, Children: Rs. 5, Camera: Rs.20

Best view point in Yercaud, in the day time we can see hill slope with cloud passing by, rain fall in the valley, thunder strike and monkeys. Before 11 in morning we can see clear sky in October. The night view is also splendid with sparkling city lights!

Good point to see mountain cliff and city. Elevation of this point is such that low lying cloud can be there when you walk.
