I have spent a lot of my hard times in the Yercaud Hill Hair Pin bend 1. It's a calm place to do a workout like walking, running, jogging, cycling, yoga, and many more. I have a lot of attachment, and I love this place very much.

32 km loop road to Yercaud from Salem is a pleasure to drive. Its wide enough for two cars/buses. So its not risky or adventurous. But be very careful since its ghat road with 20 hairpin bends. There will be bikes speeding through.. may be localities who are very much familiar with the roads. Big trucks/buses climbing up or going down will move to the wider side of the curve. So the cars need to move to the other side, even if its the right side of the road (keep left rule doesn't apply in this case) There is a toll at the starting point (while going uphill)... The most happy route in my whole life coz I live in salem .so whenever we find tym we'll plan for yercaud as a picnic spot.so yercaud is place of happiness and it is also shortest distance to visit the place and it takes around 45 to 1 hr to climb up.Its misty bends and foggy places are always awesome.

Cars and heavy vehicles are not allowed from the front end , since maintenance work is going...it was raining nd drizzling. Awesome climate over there.. wonderful climate in small budget...

One of the best place in salem for walking, cycling, and to relax. Most preferred timings are early morning and evening.

Hair pin bends are best spot to get best pics and also to get experience of riding skill. Yercaud has just 20 hair pin bends. So every bend is not much easy and too hard. Some places we fine road was wiped by rain. So always be careful on hills.
