Nice serene view point in Yercaud little off in Loop road Driving - need vehicle to reach, last 3-4KMs road is bad/not maintained, will be challenging for two wheelers during rainy season. Facilities- has a shelter and a small neatly maintained garden and benches (can pack lunch and have it here) Entry - 9 to 6PM (it’s a closed view point) with 20Rs entry fee Views - are amazing, the mountains and valleys are mesmerizing, in a cool day all the clouds and mist will take your breath away. One of the unexploited view point with no commercial activities inside and nearby (No coffee/tea and games shops we see in other view points) and no thrash and plastics (a feast to eyes) Not crowded, and can easily spend 15-20 minutes and return happily 😄

Awesome valley view. The entrance charge was 20/person. It was in karadiyur which is 10+ km from Yercaud. Better if you go by own bike or car. If you're arriving for sunset, i will recommend the view but not the place, it gets too dark and the entrance will be closed. Better go for the view and return before dusk.

Visited here recently. A road from the main Yercaud leads to this place, which is like 3-4kms from the centre. Entry is 20 per head and is collected a KM away from this place and a narrow single road leads to a Parking spot, followed by a park. The park is well maintained and at the corner, there’s a place to go n see the view. The view is really awesome and it’s worth seeing! The park is very small but family can spend some time there. It’s well maintained. Overall, must visit in Yercaud as it has only few sightseeing spots

Karadiyoor View Point is a captivating destination nestled within the enchanting hill station of Yercaud in Tamil Nadu, India. Offering panoramic vistas of the lush landscapes, this viewpoint stands as a testament to the region's natural beauty. Perched at an elevation, Karadiyoor View Point grants visitors an uninterrupted view of the verdant valleys, dense forests, and meandering streams that characterize the Yercaud terrain. The name "Karadiyoor" translates to "bear cave," adding an element of intrigue to the site. It's a popular spot for nature enthusiasts, photographers, and anyone seeking solace in the lap of nature. To reach the viewpoint, one can embark on a short trek, embracing the fresh air and tranquility of the surroundings. As the sun sets, the view takes on a magical hue, making it a favored location for witnessing the mesmerizing play of colors across the sky. Whether you're a traveler seeking adventure or someone looking to unwind amidst nature's splendor, Karadiyoor View Point in Yercaud promises a memorable experience. It's a place where you can let go of worries and immerse yourself in the breathtaking charm of the Eastern Ghats.

The views are awesome and worth visiting. The parking can be a problem as it doesn't have dedicated space for it. Have to leave the vehicles by the side of roads(except 2 wheelers). The walk from road to the view point is almost a kilometer but it's smooth. There is entry charge of 20rs per head.

Visited this place in 2017. Such a cool and beautiful place with amazing view. Went here by school trip. Enjoyed with friends. There some crowd in the view tower. Other than this, this view point is cool and calm. Must visit in Yercaud.

Narrow muddy track of almost 2km. Is you are using small cars be sure to drive carefully as the bottom may scrape. Place to be avoided during rains. But it's a nice before and a week kept garden and lawns. You can pick picnic here. Have attached photos of the road.

Karadiyur view point was named after the sloth bears which once resided that area. Now there are only monkeys .I would say that this one of the best view points in Yercaud. This has such a scenic beauty, we went there during sunset time and it was so beautiful. The entry fee was Rs.40/- for cars. But the path to this view point was very rough and gravel road, not properly maintained. I request forest department to maintain the roads leading to this view point. The park near this view point was so neat and tidy. Overall this place is apt for clicking pictures with a nature background.

One of the best view points in Yercaud. It was very calm. There is a small stretch of off road to reach here after the main road. The view point, tower and surroundings are very well maintained. There is a ₹20 per person charge to get in.

A decent view point with an extravagant view of the mountains. Nice spot to visit when in yercaud. If you plan to have a picnic plan with friends there is a grass area that can be leveraged. Overall a good spot to cover on your trip to yercaud

Though I had visited Yercaud number of times, I explored this place for the 1st time in life. It's worth to be in this view point and enjoy sightseeing. I missed the chill breeze. Usually we could experience a pleasant weather Yercaud however it's upside down this Feb '23, sensed Summer has begun early this year. We should have parked our vehicle at the entrance of this view point and better could have taken a short walk, instead of going through that muddy road. I enjoy walking rather than using vehicles for short distances. Elderly people better take your vehicle inside.

Magnificent view.... A short portion of the road to the point is rocky. When travelling in small vehicles, you'll have to walk a distance to reach the view point. There is a toll as well., 20rs per person even if all of you are in the same car.

Located 11kms from Yercaud main lake.. Karadiyoor View Point had positive and negative points. Positive points are top view is awesome. Very pleasant place as compare to other view points in yercaud. On a bright day you can even visualise the Mettur reservoir extending into the horizon. Negative is road is not good for four wheeler. Narrow muddy track of almost 2km. It would be fine for two wheelers. No restroom.. Recommended for family visit..

There is a ticket for entering Rs.20 per person. Though it was good when we visited there road was literally bad and bikers were facing difficulties crossing the road due to rain, you can see it in the video as well. You must try bread omlet from that tea shop where you will buy the tickets to enter. Trust you will never forget that taste. It was quite unique.

Very nice view point but it's difficult to reach by car. Near by road condition not good. Bike access also lil difficult due to no proper road. Near by no shops. Need your self bring food and water.

One of the best view points in Yercaud. The place was not too crowded when we went. It's maintained well, has reasonable good parking space. The accessibility is a challenge, it's a bit far from the centre of Yercaud, and roads are not so good.

Yercaud is full of many view points out of all the Karadiyoor view point is the best in my personal opinion. This is present 12kms away from the Yercaud lake. Not just the view point but the road that takes you to the view point itself is beautiful off road experience and felt like driving into a Bamboo forest (it is tough though) Located in a calm and isolated location it gives a full panoramic view of the valley and the mountains than any other view points in Yercaud. It contains a small park like structure decently maintained with some benches to relax. Unlike the other view points in Yercaud this one doesn't have any food stall are vendor stalls in it (the reason why it is clean and calm). A refreshing location worth the visit. Plan to be in the evening time for a chill climate. The last 1 km to reach this view point is full of mud roads, rainy condition will certainly make it impossible to pass by so skip it in terms of rain. Unauthorized local ladies (looks like that) collecting ticket fare from where the mud road begins to enter in to the premises. Not sure whether there is actually entry ticket to this place.

Good place to go with your friends and spend quality time speaking with each other. There aren't much to see here except for the view point. But there is a big grass lawn where we can spend as much time as we want. Entry fees is ₹10 per person. The route is difficult, and not all cars can handle the steep hilly ways. There aren't much places to park either.

Easily the best viewpoint among all the viewpoints in Yercaud. Garden adjoining the viewpoint is beautiful and well maintained. It is not crowded as other viewpoints. You have to walk for 15 mins to reach this viewpoint.

Best view point in Yercaud comparing ladies Seat, Gents Seat and Manjakuttai ... Recently, corporation started collecting ₹20 per head... Need to ride 900m off-road don't enter with vehicle if vehicle is not in good condition... There is park inside to sit for a while.. Be prepared with foods and snacks since there is no shops inside..

Road from the main the road entrance is very worst. Driving 4-wheeler is very difficult. Let the Government try widening and laying quality concrete road. Otherwise everything is memorable to visit the view point.

Excellent view point but bit far away. Entry was 20/ head. Road just before the point is muddy and full of sludge, should be careful if going by bike. View point is well maintained with an adjacent park and pathway.

There is no road for the last 1 km path that leads to the view point. It was full of mud and rocks which are not suitable to drive. The Tourism or Forest department should take necessary action to address this issue. Overall the view was good for that altitude, but needed a lot of improvements.
