Beautiful temple built by Sri Shantananda Swamigal. The temple is on a hillock. Sri Ashtabhuja Durga Mahalakshmi and Muruga are the main deities. There are also shrines with big statues of Pancha mukha hanuman, pancha mukha herambha ganapathy, dattatreya, saneswara, swarnakarshana bhairava. Regular homas are conducted at the ashram and there is a veda patashala too.

Beautiful.. Wonderful experience.. Just few steeps below the mountain.. Too hot during sunny days. Few monkeys roam around. Parking is a bit tricky.. Lots of sannadhis for different gods. Good vibrations. Nice temple. Was neat too!

A very divine experience. A must visit the temple. God looks divine and beautiful. You will find massive statues of God here. Please check temple timings before visiting. During festival days it will take longer to get darshan. Parking available. Spend time with family ommm

Good and Calm place. Lot of status are there. Panchamuga ganapathi, thanvandri Bhagavan, Panchamuga anchaneyar etc. Can go with family and spend time. If you can go in non peak hours and normal days this place will be very silent. Go with family and enjoy your time.

Very nice temple. Neat and clean. From front side there are approximately 30 steps. But from back side gate we may enter directly from road. Car can reach upto back side gate. One book stall is indide with very nice collection of books.

This temple complex began to flourish with Vedic school since 1972. It is situated on East side hillock from Salem town on the bank of a stream Kannimaar odai. It has Navagraha statues of very big size with their wives surrounding Lord Subrahmanya(Gnana Skandar). The list of very big statues of unique hindu gods and Sidhars surrounding the temple will be long one. Because of the newly developed NH road this place is very much isolated. Google map helps a lot showing different route for four and two wheeler. In ordinary days better visit during the day time as the two lane approach NH roads are busy with evening traffic.

This is beautiful, I haven't seen such kinds of statues anywhere, especially of Devi Maa and Nava Graha, I can't take my eyes off any idol in it. I would say it's a must watch, peaceful, and holy place.

The temple almost has all sculptures of god. Very spacious and elegant in its look. We could feel the positive energy. It’s located at the perfect location but was quite difficult to find the route . We visited during the midday, so it was scorching sun and couldn’t tolerate to walk by bare feet. Monkeys were everywhere, so take care of your belongings including your slippers.

To day being karthigai thirunal, we visited this temple and spent around two to three hours. Very divine place. To day evening they are lighting Theepam on the hilltop. HR & CE should learn about how to administer a temple. Here no tickets, no dakshinai. All are treated equal.

Divine and inspiring, Sri Ganapathy Raman Iyer, is a storehouse of information about the place. People coming from far away places, better to enquire precise darshan timings, on special days and dhanur masya. Generally up to 12 in the afternoon, and between 4 to 8 pm in the evening. No individual pooja and plate offerings, however interested devotees can offer voluntary donations to the office and get receipt. This is a place where great siddha purushas reside, calm and mental quiet is very much there for every one to relish. A small bookstall and pooja dravyam stall is operating inside the temple premises during darshan timings.
