Limited public transport accessibility even during daytime. Plan your visit accordingly. Not advisable to travel by two wheelers during rainy season and especially late hours.

Very powerful temple, u will not get temple prasadam like other temple. Before coming to this temple we can buy murukku, it's very tasty. While coming from Salem, we can see road side full of tamarind tree in both sides. Travelling in this road is very nice

One of the most beautiful Murugan temples. The priest in the temple are very dedicated. They decorate the temple and god in such a way it stays in our eyes. Lord Kandhasamy is the main deity here. Lord Sanishwara having separate Pragharam. In the entrance, lord Vigneswara idol is there. One should not miss this temple. Thaipoosam is one of the main festivals. A large number of pilgrims will come to worship.

It's an alternate worship place for palani and it was a truly remarkable experience. From the moment I stepped through the ornate entrance gate, I was enveloped in a sense of serenity and spirituality. The temple was well-maintained. The darshan, or the opportunity to have a glimpse of the deity, was a deeply moving experience, and I could feel a profound sense of devotion and reverence among the worshippers. One of the highlights of my visit was the delicious prasad, a sacred offering given to visitors. Pooja timings are different during shashti and kiruthiga nakshatram.

Wonderfull temple and there's no special darisha charges and mainly pandits don't take money which is really superb where other temple managements try to take away your money by all means. Thanks to the temple management.

A famous & powerful temple situated at the border of Salem-Namakkal Districts. Daily Murugar is decorated well with flowers and Sandal. Kalipatti is famous for its Fireworks during Thai Poosam and that's the major festival. And also famous for Sakkarakatti, Murukku, Adhirasam. Temple Poojaris do give Prasadam only if money is given and at times they do close the gates and will allow only if money is given. And the parking is quite costly increased so much in the past few months.

It is the one of the richest temple in salem district. The temple was built in the 18th century and devoted to lord Muruga. Most important thing is thiruneeru is black in colour. Thaipoosam and panguni uthiram are the main Muruga festival. In this temple Muruga is called as KALLIPATTI KANDHASAMY...

The temple inside in moola sthanam, fully decorated with flowers and it’s very unique and beautiful. Also the vibudhi given is also quite different and it’s famous for the special vibudhi. It’s my first time visiting temple and we had good darshan. There were plenty of space for parking. The temple was not so crowded the day we visited. Inside temple is quite clean. Outside temple not so tidy and can be improved with proper maintenance.

A famous temple In this area. Lakhs of devotees visit during Thai poosam. The celebration will go on for a week. During this season heavy bus traffic anticipated. Here during festivel season maatu santhai (cattle market) is very famous. People come from various districts including from Kerala and Karnataka. Very good place to visit during Thai poosam days.
