Due to covid the park was deserted. But we had our private space though. Maintenance is yet to be caught up with. 30rs entry fee for an adult. Restrooms available. A small childrens' play area available.

This is the 1st phase of botanical garden in Yercaud. Some part of the garden is not well maintained at the time when I went there. Maybe due to off season. There is a small view point at the top, but that part was not maintained at that time

A wonderful spot to spend your time. It is located at walkable distance from the lake. Lots of plant varieties and flowers are maintained. There are well laid pathways to walk around. You have watch towers to view the beauty of Yercaud streets, coffee estates and gardens. This is less crowded but safe. Children's play area too is available. Has clean rest rooms. They have a seperate kiosk at the entrance to sell the chocolates manufactured by the government. Chocolates are rightly priced and are of good quality. There are two botanical gardens in Yercaud. This one is very near from the lake and is owned by state government, the other one is owned by the central government and is on the way to Nagalur and about 2.5 kms from the lake. Ornamental plants are grown and displayed in a seperate enclosure. Nice place to spend time.

Botanical garden is a part of department of hoticulture of state government. It's a beautiful place. Entrance fee is RS 30/- per head. It's a good place to visit and see unique flowers, try visiting during spring. It will be much more prettier sight to the eyes. Though we spent a good time at this place.

Newly built, good collection of flowering plants, cactus, creepers etc. Especially trees crafted in the shape of animals is very interesting.

Very beautiful place location ever💐Botanical gardens devote their resources to the study and conservation of plants, as well as making the world's plant species diversity known to the public. These gardens also play a central role in meeting human needs and providing well-being.

At a distance of 31 km from Salem, 193 km from Coimbatore, 114 km fromHogenakkal, 349 kmfrom Chennai and 249 km from Bangalore, Yercaud is a beautiful hill station in Salem district of Tamil Nadu and also one of the popular places to visit as part ofTamilnadu tour packages. At an altitude of 1515 m in the Shevaroyhills, Yercaud is one of the tophillstations near Bangalorein summer.Yercaudtown got its name from the Yercaud Lake located at its center. In Tamil, Yeri means lake and Kaadu means forest. Stone-age implements have been found from the ancient shrine located near Shevaroy Hills, which is about 5 km from the Yercaud Lake. Sir Thomas Munroe, erstwhile governor of Madras Presidency in 1842 developed this place.

It is the northern half of the same botanical garden with separate entrance and separate parking/entrance fee. Both the botanical gardens are not connected internally. There are limited number of plants and trees to label it as a botanical garden. It also has children's playground.

This place us underrated. We went there accidentally instead of going to Rose garden. But it is a great and quiet place for family. Neat and well maintained plants. Entry was only Rs 30 and the staff are courteous. Great places to take memorable Yercaud photos. It is a big place try to explore

The well-maintained gardens are filled with colorful flowers, towering trees, and vibrant shrubs. Walking through the garden is a refreshing experience, with the fragrance of flowers filling the air. It's a perfect spot to unwind, enjoy nature's beauty, and capture stunning photographs.

Very well maintained. As we visited early in the morning during December, the entire garden was empty and we thoroughly enjoyed our time. Bought few saplings at a very reasonable price.

A lovely place to spend your time. It is just a short walk from the lake. Many plant varieties and flowers are kept alive. There are well-kept paths for walking. You can view the beauty of Yercaud streets, coffee estates, and gardens from watch towers. This is less crowded but still safe. A children's play area is also available. Has clean restrooms. Ticket price is 15rs for adults and 10rs for children. Car parking price is 40rs.

A tiny botanical garden maintained by the Tamil Nadu government. The flowers were still in the growing stage as it is too early. Summer is a good time to see a lot of flowers since there are flower shows organized during that time.

There are two Botanical gardens in Yercaud. One is located nearer to Yercaud Lake and another is about 2.5KMs from the First Botanical Garden. This garden is maintained by National Orchidarium and consists of over 2000+ plants and trees. It is the best place who wants to have a long walk enjoying the harmony of nature. There is a playground for children and even adults also playing there during our last visit. However, it's a good place but not much enjoyable other than the small children's playground. Location: 2.5Km from Yercaud Lake and 3Kms from Busstand Mode of Travel: Hire a car or auto. Timings: 08:00 Am to 06:30 Pm Ticket: Adult: Rs. 10, Children: Rs. 5, Camera: Rs.20

It is a Government maintained botanical garden and in good condition..The change is 30rs for adults and kids were not charged. There is a green house, glass house, polyhouse inside with a lot of floral variety..Roses of different colours were eye warming and a small kids play area for children to enjoy..overall a must visit..

There was nothing much to see here. You can avoid visiting here. I guess they have just started setting up the garden. Only Yercaud Poo(Flower) was there.

Very peaceful place to relax. No vehicle sound and no other sorts of disturbance. Small vehicles are allowed inside mostly. You can just have a short sleep on the grassland with a good breeze under the sun.

Good collection of plants but no name or details of any of the plants. You just keep guessing. So just a garden. Also there is a person ticketing for the garden on the way to the gent’s seat for the garden and two other locations— she insisted we use the ticket to get in to the Botanical garden. Then the botanical garden says that it is not accepted and you need to buy again. The ticket is not expensive but it appears that there is some miscommunication or outright lying. Anyways, we enjoyed the walk.
