Fantastic small hill station for weekend tours. Just sit in the lake park or enjoy boating in tranquility and calmness or go early morning to the view point and enjoy the sunrise with hot coffee from the small tea coffee shop. One can also enjoy jungle safari to get a feel of the jungle (no animals though) if the hotel has arrangements for it. Temperature was enjoyable in mid February with a little chillness at night. Overall fantastic place to rejuvenate oneself over a couple of days of relaxation in the nature's lap.

It was a wonderful day in yercaud. The image taken from the 19th hair pin bent at 7am. I really enjoyed the climate and spectacular views.

It’s view is mesmerising. There are chances you get cold. Better cover ones ears only. Cold winds from clouds directly may come to you. No matter how less distance it seems from your stays, it is advisable to travel by bike/car. Roads are often steep rise or steep fall. It required more strength for walking.

A best and beautiful place to spend a day

The view was absolutely mind blowing, the muneeswaran temple was filled with full of positive energy

First visit to yercaud. It was good. If you pick the correct food joint, you will love the place

Does poppy hills worth for money? What is the entrance fee for poppy hills? Do they have any games or activities for children below 8 years? Do bungee jumping have any age limit? How much is the cost of water roller?

Beautiful view and breathtaking scenery of salem of course u would see a bunch of monkeys there

Great view point. There is a structure constructed to help people get a good view. People do tend to cross the wire fence to get a closer view or stand on the edge, that's not advisable. Clean parking space for about 10 cars.

Yercaud has everything Ooty has, but without mad rush and traffic. Heavenly view points (Gents seat & Ladies seat), beautiful yercaud lake, exhilarating ghat road with 20nos "fish bone" hair pins. Lots of hotels. Shevarayan temple is the peak, with clouds covering you. Sterling holidays has the rooms in the cliff with stunning view of the vallies and illuminated night city of Salem. Enjoyed two days at Yercaud.

Yercaud can no longer be called as Poorman's Ooty. It is as commercialized as Ooty.

April 2022 Poor’s Man Hill station is no more has the same grace. Too much crowded and too much commercialised. Maintenance is required but clean. Tourist attractions are much crowded and littered also. Request to all to please keep it clean. Ghat road are good and repair work was going on. So hopefully better next time. Eatery joints are less so please be choosy. Many options to stat but please book in advance and do check for parking space. Parking is challenging but possible to get it

My Yercaud daires... Superbb mist drive experience ... Nallur and kiliyur waterfalls is nature gifts.. Rose garden, botanical garden, silk worm world, ladys and gents seat, pakoda point ,boating, then homely food , peeku park, nature view point, rain, sunshine, mist cloudly totaly i enjoyed 2 days with my family.. My next plan is secrect waterfalls in yercaud.
