What beautiful place and what beautiful ambiance inside! You will be mesmerised. Small parking just opposite to road which may not be able to take load in peak festive season. We had a quick darshan since it didn’t had much rush at 3 pm on a Sunday .

One of the favourite place in Mecheri and visited by most of the travellers. Amman's idol was really awesome. If it is crowded then it will take a lot of time for darshan. Special queue will be charged from Rs.100 -250. Parking charges for a car is Rs.30. Prasadham they provide here would be charged around Rs.20 each for tamarind rice and sweet Pongal.

Best place to visit. This Amman is very powerful. We went here on Aadi 1st Ammavasai. We went by walking from Salem puthuroad to Mecheri around 30 km. We started by 6pm and reached the temple by 4:30am. Many people provided refreshments throughout the way. This temple has a multiple entrance. This place has a great scriptures. During auspicious days there will be more rush and crowds so be prepared. Keep your belongings safe such as gold chains, purse, wallet and cash During the rushes. Best place to visit in normal days to avoid get crowded Here I am attaching the pictures of the temple.

Less than 10 years this has become a big temple with all facilities. Even most prominent temples don’t have such facilities what we have here. Most powerful Amman temple. A most visit for tourists and locals surrounding along with family. It’s very quite and peaceful. Inside temple you have plenty of space to rest. Also there are red mats laid around temple so even in summer your foot won’t feel the heat.

Very old temple..auspicious temple.. but inside the temple everything is money..I am not sure..why government is not taking any action and watching simply.Priest has group of people n they will not do any Pooja until you are paying..for braking coconut 20 rs they are charging and which is additional from the archana ticket..i asked for special darsan ticket n employee said after 7pm they will not give any ticket and give 500 to priest for special darsan..very bad experience with temple service people.

Very famous temple.Mecheri - Badrakali Amman Temple was build around 800 years prior by the Tamilans. Mecheri is Sourrounded by the lake and beatiful green knolls. It is additionally encompassed by south vallattu nadu and thoppaiyam. Mechari which is well known for "Mecheri exceptional sheep" is the heavenly place for ambigal Bhadrakali who showers her approval all in all universe.

Crowd management during peak hours wasn't good, people were allowed to enter the premises through the main and side entrances there by hindering commotion. The temple premises is well maintained!

This is one of the ancient temples in Tamilnadu. It has a lot of free space for parking during normal days and also during Pongal. The temple is maintained very well.

A very old Hindu temple. Amman is the God here. One of the powerful temples. Usually they'll not be crowd. Other than amavasaya. On amavasaya 's there'll be a very huge amount of crowd ( approx 1000 people). Special darshan also available 100, 500. Buying those tickets are not much needed. People are easily entering that queue too. Everywhere we need to pay money including Cleanliness 3 Maintenance 3 Dividing queue 4 Crowd maintenance 5

Super temple. Pretty much easy to approach. Clean and neat. Parking charge is way higher than many big temples in Tamil nadu. Have to work on that part. Rest all good.
