A complete scam in the name of 2 Star Hotel.<br/>1. AC didn't work properly. Complaint has raised, They gave other room. There also AC didn't work properly. Maintenance guy checked & says that we didn't know to operate the AC remote. Such a idiot fellow. <br/>2. No Channel other than "Sun TV". <br/>3. Got extra bed, The service guy didn't spread the bed sheets properly. Pillow covers has not given & Pillows were full of dirty patches.<br/>4. Maintenance guy & Service guy came inside with their dirty scandals. No common sense. <br/>5. Car parking is available. But the streets are completely parked by Bikes. Parked car couldn't move out from the street. The hotel people didn't help in that part. <br/>After raising these many cons about their hotel. The man in the reception keep showing attitude. Such a disgusting fellow. <br/>Never book this hotel. It's a friendly advice from a common man.

Unprofessional service. The check in and check out timings are not flexible although the rooms are not full. They will overcharge. It's a bit expensive considering that the rooms are cramped. Never go for non-ac rooms unless you are on a tight budget. Salem is extremely hot. The hotel is situated on a narrow road.

Worst hotel. No proper coordination between the staff. Different pricing is given by different staff and they price keeping changing. Is it a really a hotel. No service, worst cleanliness. A/C not working in the room.

Economical hotel near to the bus stand. All the general areas covered with CCTV so family can stay leaving all worries behind. Dedicated room service at your point. Overall it was a good experience.

Very nice stay once again at GR Residency. Excellent service by staff members. Actually I booked a room through make my trip. Unfortunately due to system error the room was not booked even after the amount was deducted. I informed over the phone to hotel about this. The reception people allotted a room for me and helped me from an awkward situation. Thank you sir.

Rooms - Very neat. Basic amenities present. No sunlight. Light has to be on all day Staff - Very professional and courteous Service - Average. But even orders like tea and coffee take time. Location - Very busy area with electronics market. Difficult for 4 wheeler to navigate. Other facilities: Laundry, Tea/Coffee/Dry snacks, Generator, Soap & Towels, Room cleaning, no own restaurant but staff buys you tiffin/dinner from restaurants outside.

A budget hotel located in the prime location of salem city. It is walkable from bus stand. Rooms are clean and well maintained. I received a warm welcome at the eception. Room service is available. People are friendly. Toilets are clean. Hotel provides complementary water bottle, soap and shampoo. The road to this hotel is narrow and car parking is difficult.

Decent place to stay, cordial staff. Neat premises. Right inside commercial street in Salem town. You can step out and reach high class veg restaurants in less than 5 mins. Tuck shop is open in premises 24 hrs so you can get snacks and soft drinks anytime. Navigating a car to the property needs some skill though

This is the best hotel in salem at best price. If anyone is planning to stay in salem, please consider this hotel first. Everything is systematic. Well organised. Its servce is like 3-5 star hotel service. Very polite and professional staff. Room service is also available. 24 hour check out time. Free wifi available. Laundry is available. Towels and water bottle are given complementary for guests. Local is near to bus stop.

Totally disappointed in reception itself. when i just asked for complementary water bottle on my 2nd day stay in the same hotel. He told me to pay Rs.20/- to the pantry person. then i told that second day complementary is not given. he is yelling in front of me. "Check whether it is given or else give him one water bottle". We are 2 business customers staying there based on our corporate booking. i didn't expected this cheap behaviour from him. I'm paying 1700 per night but he is yelling to give one water bottle costing 20 Rs. I will suggest my company to never book this hotel again for anyone.

I was in salem for 2 weeks for a business tour, and a colleague referred GR Residency. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and the service is excellent, very caring management and respectful receptionist, the rooms are very clean and top class. I am back here after few months and got a royal welcome from the Reception. Will continue to visit whenever I am in salem. Thank you GR team! All the best!
