The property was so nice. The ambience was so good and play area is a plus. We went as mom and son for my son’s birthday and had a good time there. One minus is that they serve only vegetarian food. We went to trek with a guide from the resort itself and had a very awkward experience. The guy throughout tried to know about my relationship with my husband, said that I looked sad etc and all those BS. Otherwise, the stay was great. I asked to serve coffee at 6 am in the room and Shahrukh, one of the staff was ringing the doorbell sharp at 6 am the next day. They made beautiful arrangements for my son’s birthday inside the room and it was quite a nice experience although I kinda felt unsafe with that trek man around

Love the place, if the occupancy is high - services can be slightly rusty. I stayed at the heritage room and the tent ( both rooms were amazing), needs constant maintenance since there are too many trees and falling leaves. Would love to thank front desk Lokesh - chef bhalmurugan - staff Prabhakar for their exemplary effort in making it a memorable stay. Access to other prominent places in yercaud is great from here.

Overall very poor and unpleasant experience on my first ever trip with my family. They didn’t provide the service for the exorbitant price they charge. (Absolute waste of money) . Parking - fits only 5 SUVs, others to be parked outside the resort. . Poorly maintained luxury tents, sit out was full of dried leaves and rotten figs. . Booked 2 luxury tents one with 3 occupancy but didn’t provide bed at first after questioning, the person reception behaved very rude. . Asked for heater in the room it was not given the first day, didn’t even respond back after asking for it. . No tissue paper in toilet, laundry not available. . Activity Area - Tennis and indoor soccer ball was not available. Pool table is provided only at bungalow which normal clients don’t have access too. (Photo in web deceive you). . Complimentary breakfast - Tasteless, no varieties, refilling at their own convenience, if you extra food at live counter you will be judged and waiters will not respond. Only good thing about this resort is organic themed ( not well maintained ) Unpleasant experience overall. Avoid these scammers.

Rooms we're OK but quite basic. The owners could do much more to make the bungalow we stayed in more comfortable. Hill station resorts need better heating for the rooms. There was a kitchen but no cutlery or plates. Some level of decoration would be good as the bungalow has the feel of a house that has just been moved into and has no character.

Wow Bison Woods Resort in Yercaud has been built or rather blended into the nature. There are two / three access roads, which are either steep or badly damaged. From the parking and reception, one has to walk down several flights of stairs to the heritage rooms, the tents, the pool, the camp fire area, and the garden area. Definitely not recommended for those who have a tough time climbing up and down the stairs, like aged people or those with arthritis etc. The pure vegetarian restaurant comes first and is one level below the reception area. The breakfast spread was okay but the food got cold quickly. The Heritage room was spacious and the exterior and interior architecture and interior furnishing were all done in traditional style, with a beautiful sit-out too. We certainly enjoyed staying in the Heritage room. The extra bed charges are exorbitant so consider that during the booking. There are swimming pool and a spa, both of which we did not make use of this time. They had also arranged for a morning trek from 7 am to 9am but we could not attend that too as we were too tired. There was a camp fire at 9pm but the fire could not stay on for more than a few minutes, we started feeling cold and left soon. The games area in the second floor was disappointing as the Table Tennis room had hardly any space for the players and the bat and ball were pathetic sub standard ones. The adjacent mini hall had a small collection of books, a kids playing area, a kids activity table, foosball board etc. The gardens had a good range of trees, vegetable plants and fruit plants for those with an interest in nature. There was a captivating fragrance wafting in the air from the huge fig tree in the garden. Overall the stay was a mixed bag for us and we left feeling a little underwhelmed.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful resort with my family and I must say it was an amazing experience! This place is truly a hidden gem in Yercaud. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, the amenities were top-notch, and the food was delicious. The location is perfect - secluded and peaceful, yet still close to all the attractions. I highly recommend this resort and look forward to visiting again soon!

Like everyone, I googled a lot and found this place based on some good reviews. I had a stay just 2 days before. Yeah location wise, its nicely isolated from the crowded place. With huge expectations, I checked in at 1:30 PM and there was no welcome drink given. Also, I booked the Tent house just to experience the difference. No towels are provided. No water bottle given or provided. but was feel of tent was good. But, there is Zero privacy. U can easily hear what ppl talking outside the tent house. Also, bathroom is just with Zip. So, Privacy is super flopped and the toilet and bathroom areas are always wet. Expected to spend some good time, in the garden available in side the tent, but its fully of bushes. Frogs and leaches from that sit out area. U will have some play area likes slides and swing for kids which is fine to some extent. No indoor play items are provided. For name sake, carrom and chess boards were placed. I hardly seen anyone there. Pool area is good and there is no restriction and it was good. Dinner was awesome and the serving was top notch. This has to be recognized well as they provided high quality food thought he items were limited. If you want to experience the tent feel with friends, it good place. For family, probably, heritage is good option which I realized later. Overall, Neither good nor bad experience. Hope this will help you before you decide.

We had dinner at the restaurant here and food was very good. They have an organic vegetarian restaurant with a lot of tasty menu items. Food is on the more expensive side, but totally worth it. The approach Road is very steep and one needs to be careful while driving down to this place. Overall a great place for food.

Location - it's around 2 kms from the centre, just next to silver oaks. Very calm and quiet place. Skypark can be reached by walk but it's not advised to walk in the night time. Service - Amazing service, right from room to restaurant they make us feel our stay worth it. It's a very small place maybe around 15 rooms in total divided into- standard, , executive, heritage, tent, bungalow. Standard room itself quite big enough for two people. Heritage rooms are typical Tamil Nadu chettinad style. U can't except a mountain view here but it's a very calm serene place wr u can enjoy the stay garden Nature and so. Breakfast and dinner if we include it in booking, they give u almost 10 to 15 different dishes to dine. Food was amazing, very less spice, typical South Indian breakfast. They ll arrange for autos and cab if we don't hv a vehicle but the prices are slightly high.

Bungalow is big, spacious and well maintained. 10-12 people can comfortably stay in the bungalow. Even the heritage room is aesthetic with chettinad furniture and neatly maintained. Well behaved staff at the resort and even at the restaurant. Bungalow has a private campfire, jhoola, garden, pool table, TT, chess and carrom. Staffs ensured that we had the best possible experience during our two days stay. All veg Cuisine was customised according to our taste. Head cook was very friendly, another staff Mr. Ashok was also very good. Special thanks to Mr. Praveen Kumar who accompanied us during the trekking and arranged campfire as well. Very down to earth person. He ensured each one of us back in single pieces from the trekking and gave us a very good company. Also thanks to the staffs Raja, Munusamy and a lady staff too at the restaurant

Good place with poor management, cleanly can see the owners restriction on many things. We stayed for 2 days. Welcome drink was Pomo juice of 100 ml, we had 2 year baby which they ignored to provide her. They never informed us on the Night buffet which we missed on 1st day, ordered food which costs like 5 star hotel( guys have you ever tasted your food which costs so much) , ordered paneer pulav instead got Lemon rice with panner. Morning breakfast was average, the waiters insisting us to write reviews(now you know why there are many good good reviews), I kept on ignoring both the days. While staying for 2nd day they didn’t fill our toiletries(management we paid extra since it’s weekend but you just lost a customer for 100rs toiletries). As someone said in comment don’t fall for paid reviews. Rooms and swimming pool are good, food and poor management spoils this resort. Finally no complimentary evening Hi tea for this huge price? (this is 1st resort I have seen after staying in many resorts in Karnataka)

Lovely location on berry road. Tent rooms were really good with all the experiences of a tent with all the facilities. The staff were extremely helpful and service was good. Restraunt service was nice and food was pleasant primarily vegetarian. Morning trek to a private trail was great up a hilltop. Nature and gardening was great as well. All in all a very comfortable place for elderly and children

"I recently had the pleasure of staying at Wow Bison Yercaud, and it was a truly wonderful experience. The resort is set in a beautiful location, offering stunning views of the surrounding area. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The property is impeccably maintained, and it's evident that a lot of care goes into keeping it in top-notch condition. The rooms were clean and comfortable, providing a cozy retreat after a day of exploring Yercaud. The on-site amenities and services, from the dining options to the recreational activities, added to the overall enjoyment of my stay. Bison Yercaud is a perfect destination for those looking to unwind and connect with nature, and I would highly recommend it to anyone planning a visit to Yercaud."

A very good place in the nature. A pure veg place and non smoking zone. Can bring your own drinks. Massage available but very very pricey not sure why it costs so much. But over all stay experience was very good. Food was excellent and all the staff keep a homely atmosphere and friendly abd very polite.

Stayed there for 1 night / 1 day back in October 2022. This is a “pure vegetarian/organic” resort. So you won’t have non vegetarian food options even if you want. The resort staff and service provided were pretty decent. We had issues with the room provided and they shifted to another one quickly. The resort was under renovation when we were visiting. The resort is a small to medium size property. Near from the main road , however the approach roads for last few meters towards resort are bad and full of broken type patchy road. Need to drive carefully especially if you are going in Sedan or hatchback type cars. Parking options are limited if you want to park right in front of the resort reception During season the rates were double and felt it was too costly from a VFM perspective.

Excellent facility with both chettinad style room interior and luxury tents. Staff behaviour and service is welcoming. Swimming pool needs to be upgraded with temperature controlled one, we visited during winter and unable to use due to cold water. Must appreciate the food variety, quality however its a pure vegetarian restaurant. They grew the vegetables for their farm inside the resort to meet most of their preparations.

We had been here to have lunch at Sweet Potato restaurant which is the only 100% veg fine dine in Yercaud. Except for the long wait of 1 hr to get the food, the taste, choice, and portions are good. The chef came out to facilitate the dining...

Amazing place to stay with friends and family. Well maintained by staff. But if you order something from the restaurant the service is sadly very slow. They need to work on that.

This resort is very cool and calm, situated amidst woods and gives a very good hospitality. The Veg food they provide is delicious and greater quality. The place is 3 kilometers outside the town, access is easy and with good ambience. Loved the stay there.

I recently stayed at WOW Bison Woods resort and overall had a good experience. The rooms were neat and comfortable, and the food and services were good. However, there were a few issues that detracted from the stay. The connecting road from the resort to the main road was in very poor condition, which made it difficult to get to and from the resort. Additionally, the wifi connectivity was very bad, which made it difficult to stay connected while at the resort. On the plus side, there was enough parking space available, and the location of the resort was nice. Overall, while the stay was comfortable, there are some areas that could be improved upon.

Property is in 1 acre land, well appointed, 6 Tents and one main complex. Average food. New year time poorly planned event, unorganized camp fire. It is not 3 or 4 star property as presented in portals. Staffs are kind, helpful. Nothing special about organic resort. Spa and pool table not operational as advertised. I suggest owners should provide basic heating in rooms, feels like sleeping in averest base camp.

Had a pleasant stay with my wife. Staffs were very polite and ready to help out on our requests. Had vegetarian buffet, food was great. They have camp fire every night. Definitely need own vehicle to visit attractions from this resort.

Incredible stay. Great veg food, good rooms but the best part is the incredible staff. We did not hear a no for anything. We booked an all meal plan for 3 days and they gave us great variety in the food. Thanks to Arun, Shah Rukh and Surya for making every meal a great experience. Hats off to the chef for the tasty food throughout. Truly the best staff ever.

The experience here was awesome. We booked the bungalow as were 6 adults and 3 kids. The service is average, food taste also average. Breakfast was good. However, the staff is very helpful and had arranged for everything we requested for. Worth a stay.

It’s a great place to stay in Yercaud. The property is well connected from the city and there are enough getaways close by. Besides the offbeat concept of luxury tents and organic theme, the best part of the experience is the courteous staff. Starting from the front desk support, to restaurant to housekeeping , to chef and the guide , everyone ensures that you get the best of everything. The food, undoubtedly, is the best. They make you eat a lot and we must tell that everything is worth trying. I would give 3.5/5 for the property and another 1.5 for the people and staff who manage it, indeed they make the experience worth remembering. So 5/5 experience. Kudos to the team
