Pros- Close to nature Awesome view Treehouse well maintained Good breakfast Food and barbeque are home made, and decently priced. They have variety of accomodation - tree house, aloof rooms, dorm type. Fyi - we went on a weekday, and it was free. I would recommend treehouse for mid adventurous people. It's worth it but a bit secluded. If afraid of dogs let them know beforehand, or else Ur in for lot of surprises. Cons- Higher side of cost - maybe it's required to maintain the whole estate. No swimming pool ( I might be wrong) Openly roaming well grown dogs. We are kinda phobic of them. I understand staffs are locals, and I welcome this move. But still basic etiquette like dress code should be followed, that will give confidence for the visitors. Me and my spouse were barbequing with a great view, suddenly a well grown Dalmatian* comes out of no where and stands near us. Of course I understand it's well tamed, but for people like my spouse who are not used to dogs, it was frightening, we stood still for like 10 mins calling for help, as no mobile coverage can't call the reception as well. Post that someone came and helped us.

Pros: 1. Amazing view and sounds of nature... 2. Good for couple and friends hangout 3. Weekdays are free and only you will be there to enjoy full estate 4. Nice maintained and very friendly local staffs 5. Nice food Cons: 1. Have 4 big dogs and they keep roaming around. 2. Snails roam around in bathrooms (may be normal in forest type stay)

It should be the best ever stay for us. The place is so clean and beautiful. Food, valley view ,Stay everything was top notch. Care takers were very friendly. Wooden cabins were the best. We will definitely visit again.

Recently visited yercaud and stayed in this place. Location is beautiful, cottage was also awesome. Nice and clean, you’ll see some insects, that’s absolutely fine since this is located in the lap of nature, you can enjoy the night view from the balcony. Food is good but on the costlier side, don’t expect too much from add on breakfast, its just Okish. The big downside is they don’t provide food in the cottages, not even tea/coffee and for our case the intercom is also not working, and everytime we had to trek down to the kitchen for every smaller need, didn’t mind since we all were young.

Best location in yercaud to stay with no disturbances of people. Very humble staffs who take care of everything you need.Manager Justin and Dhanam who is incharge of resort are great to help us on anything you need in case of travel and other arrangements. We had stayed in tree house which is fabulous and one of the best place to stay with all facilities you need. Cellphone coverage is laggy which is needed for relax location and no to is provided at rooms or dining.Wi-Fi is available at dining area and landline available for making calls. All over superb location to stay…😀

Stayed here for a night with two friends on a mid-October weekend. We were given a wooden cabin which can accommodate 3 pax without adding an extra bed on request. We were charged INR 6K per night (1K extra for 3rd person) including complimentary breakfast only. Not sure if they already have cabins / rooms to accommodate 3 people. Anyways, this seemed like a thoughtful touch. To summarize the experience:- What’s good?- -The city view from this property is what it's all about. The view of the Salem City at night, from the view point (not the room/cabin) at the property is priceless. Don't know about any other resorts which are at the same altitude, if they have a similar view to offer. -Staff seemed friendly and tried to attend to our requests diligently. For eg:- Staff lent an umbrella upfront without being asked for one when it rained. Staff climbed all the way uphill on the back of a cleaning request after spillage in the room. - Altitude at which the resort is placed adds to the weather / feel / view compared to other resort options which are placed much lower on the mountain. -Decent car parking facility (not covered but could accommodate up to 10 cars at a time) with a good approach road. - Heads up provided by management as to what to expect and what is N/A at the property, via mail once booking is confirmed. Like the lack of cell phone network, unavailability of TV in the room, having to carry booze from outside. This is useful. -A few friendly pet dogs that give company to the staff in these hills. They welcome guests at the gate. They are so used to seeing random people / guests that they behave as though a staff. No curiosity/sniffing around when they see a stranger, like usual pets. What isn’t? - The climb to the cabin uphill is a task especially with luggage. Really makes you want to think twice before stepping out of the cabin. A basic lift (like the ones you see at a under construction building site) would be really helpful. -There are no hand railings provided (not even a makeshift one with wood/bamboo) for the makeshift stone steps uphill to the cabin/room. This makes is it really dangerous especially while alighting the stairs at night and when it rains. The steps become slippery and it feels ike an accident just waiting to happen. - Poor/No lighting at the makeshift stairs. Again, difficult and dangerous at night. Think twice before stepping out especially when/if it rains. -Cell phone signal is limited / N/A most of the times. Digital payments might not work as expected. Carrying cash might be a good idea. Wi-Fi barely works when / if you manage to connect to it from the room. You have to climb down to the Kitchen / Dining area if you need good Wi-Fi signal. So consider yourself cut off (literally) from the rest of the world during your time here (unless you manage to find some network in your room). Jio seems to have some bare minimum network. Airtel and VI are patchy to none. - Basic expectation after paying 6K a night – a clean bathroom. But no! The bathrooms did not appear clean / had stains. Understand the property is in between a jungle but dead / live insects, bugs, worms all around the bathroom all the time to keep you company while you attend natures call. If you are squeamish / phobic about such things then look elsewhere. -Western toilet commode had a huge crack which spiders called home. Remembered the tarantula scene from “We’re the Millers” movie. - The bathroom Shower lacked water pressure for a thorough satisfying bath. The shower hot and cold water mixer didn’t work as it’s supposed to. - Room facilities are average / poor. Basic beds / mattress, blankets. Nothing fancy but can be better. No wardrobe or a luggage stand, No bedside plug points / bedside tables, no cloth hangers in the bathroom. Cloth hanger in the room was broken. No mini fridge if you are planning to chill your drinks. The door latch sometimes doesn’t work so you have to lock yourself using the key from inside the room before going to bed. - The food at this place was nothing less than terrible.

Breathtaking views.. stayed in tree house.. kudos to the management and builder for constructing such a wonderful room at such heights. Also, appreciate them for using solar power. Pros: Super views in and out room. Nice breakfast. Don't expect 5 star food. But, what we had is a decent buffet breakfast. Peaceful stay. Cons: Felt a bit tired taking stairs to tree house. Cell phone signal is limited as it is situated on hills. Better bring cash for expenses. Recommendations: Phone signal is limited here. So, bring cash for expenses. Have lunch before check-in. We had biryani at thambi prabhakar hotel. It was the best in yercaud. Bring your own vehicle for transport. Although staff is friendly to book auto for you.

Stay at glenrock has been a pleasure to us , from the moment we entered till the moment we exited , from breakfast till dinner . We chose to stay at the tree house which was our bucketlist item. The view from the tree house was breathtaking with clouds forming a castle above land at morning and city lights twinkling as stars at night . The plantations were amazing too, the collection of various flora , added beauty to the place . The isolated location gave us the place to freshen our mind and we enjoyed every bit of it . Thanks to the helper whom we were provided with Mr. Gopal. He helped us with our food and our barbecue, the hospitality and patience while handling us made our stay more memorable. We asked for camp fire and barbecue which made our evening magical. The bed was comfy and the dining area was well maintained . Thank you glenrock and it's associates , for the amazing stay . - Amarnath and His girl ❤

WORST EXPERIENCE!! 100% DO NOT RECOMMEND. I had made a booking with this property and paid the amount but unfortunately I could not go since I fell sick. I immediately asked them to refund the advance amount but they denied it and asked me to book the property within few weeks but I couldn't travel. I wrote back to them asking for a refund again but they said as per their policy they do not give any refunds. They also do not entertain phone calls and everything has to be on email, even if you call and ask them basic questions, they do not respond properly and ask you to send an email for every small thing. There are so many other better resorts in Yercaud, do not waste your time here!!

👍👍 What made for a truly remarkable stay was the hospitality of the host Prem (and his lovely family!). He went the extra mile to ensure that our stay was comfortable, especially at the time one of us fell sick. Certainly recommended for the sheer warmth.

😠 Waste of time and money. Very expensive and he says free breakfast but In his view breakfast means tea and coffee. The access to an artificial waterfall is by paying an extra charge.
