Beautiful place and Sam is so welcoming and friendly. Wish you all the best. The lime soda was fantastic and so was the Tikka kebab

Incredible food. The butter chicken is so good that I think about it for days after eating it. I have very high standards and this place smashes all of them. So authentic, best Indian food in Boston and maybe New England. Staff is also incredibly kind. They go above and beyond. I am very stingy with reviews and this place earned five stars. You can tell they care not only by the quality of the food and the kindness of the service, but by the details. The restaurant is absolutely impeccably clean. It’s one of the cleanest restaurants I’ve ever seen.

If you are looking for real desi food in Boston try House of Kebab. It won’t disappoint you at all. I think it’s best desi food I had in Boston. It’s under new management. Food was delicious. Thali was amazing at reasonable price. The Owner offered us complimentary mango and pistachio ice cream, that was awesome. I would definitely go there again and recommend this place.

Amazing food at House of Kebab! Hot family-style meal came out quickly and was the ultimate comfort food experience on a rainy day (we got the kebab sampler, chicken tikka masala, paneer pakora, garlic naan, and gulab jamun, and masala chai). Pleasant and accommodating staff too. We will be back!

Good food, good ambience - perhaps the best paneer tikka I’ve eaten.

Horrible quality of food. Most Dishes are filled with tomato paste that non- southeast Asians love! Any Indian would realize the absolute lack of effort put forth in their cooking. Anybody could make a better chicken tikka masala

Really good food. I went here last night with my in-laws and had the leftovers for dinner tonight…just so good. They brought small wonderful cups of lentil soup that were perfect on a cold day. The butter chicken is rich and extraordinary, and the lamb jalfrezi was also incredible. Really good mutter paneer as well!!! Highly recommend this restaurant.

I ordered a vegetarian plate that was supposed to come with vegetable tikka masala, saag paneer and rice. Every single item had chicken in it. I can understand a mishap where there was some chicken, but in every item?? Having not eaten meat in almost two decades this was very upsetting.

We enjoyed our meal here and were well taken care of by the staff. The kabab made a splash being presented in a copper vessel and with huge chunks of meat. We had another great meals here and they have added some very generous lunch specials I want to highlight. Sorry the pictures are a bit dark, but hopefully you can see that the special is presented on a big tray with generous servings. Next time we should order one as it was more than either of us could eat alone. I ordered the lamb special, lamb rogon jush which was nicely spiced and fun to have something different. This came with garlic naan, saag paneer, chicken tikka marsala, a couple of vegetable pakoras, some black pepper chicken, rice AND rice pudding if you saved room for dessert! My husband ordered the chicken special which was chicken dhaniwal korma which came with the same sides and courses. This was only $10 for each serving. I recommend sharing one with a friend as it is very filling.

The food was great (Chicken biryani and Chicken Roll, though the Biryani was much better than the roll). The seating is very Indian fine dine style, you'd find these in typical Indian family restaurants. The server was nice, although probably a little overworked. The staff is under new management, I'd know because the manager sat right behind me talking in the loudest voice to a potential investor. That said, I don't mind it. Get your hustle up King, get that bread. Good, authentic Indian flavors and vibe. Good bakery right across the street. Haven't tried out the "thali" (buffet/AYCE) yet.

Really good Indian food with fast and friendly service. Will definitely reorder. I loved the sauce that went with samosa (especially the green sauce). The hot flavor was actually "hot" so be careful ❤️‍🔥

Delicious food, generous portions and a genuinely gracious staff. So many interesting and unusual menu items we’ll have to return many times to try them all.

Ordered food for delivery from Grubbull. Enjoyed the choice of thalis, veg and non veg and it was perfect to get a sample of multiple dishes including a side, your choice of bread and rice. Really enjoyed the paneer sagg and butter channa masala. Big flavor piece of chapati paired well with the curry. Loved gulab jamun as an option for dessert.

Did a pickup for chicken tikka wrap, malai kebab wrap and paneer roll. The wraps were good , just did not like when I had to wait another 25 minutes after the scheduled pickup time. Wasn’t even busy they were going to close in the next hour or so when i placed the order. They probably started preparing when I went in. I would call them before going to their restaurant the next time I place an order for pickup no matter what the pickup time is.

Hands down the best Indian food I've had in ages. Most Indian restaurants in Boston leave me disappointed because they are overpriced and all the same. I love that they have Thalis (Veg and Non Veg) for dinner. Flavorful, varied and warm friendly staff. We will be back.

We had dinner delivered while at a hotel. The food was pretty tasty but only lukewarm by the time it got to us. Probably ChowNow's fault, not necessarily that of the restaurant. We don't get food delivered very often but we had to leave early and so we tried it this time.

Ate here about a week ago and haven't been able to stop thinking about it since! The tikka masala was incredible and, thankfully, we ordered too much and had plenty to go home with (as well as some additional garlic naan that was soo good)!

Ordered Uber eats delivery: - Chicken Tikka masala - hot - butter chicken - hot - kebab meat platter - tandoon Tikka wrap The chicken Tikka masala and butter chicken come in a similar style, the sauce and chicken in a bowl, and rice on the side. My gf and I got spicy for both (level 3/4), and we both agreed that the chicken Tikka masala sauce had a better flavor. It was definitely sweeter, but also much more flavor and a great blend of spices. I used that sauce for the rest of the dishes. The kebab meat platter was great value and a good variety of meats, but I really enjoyed it with the Tikka masala sauce. The tandoon Tikka wrap was ok, not as good as the rest in my opinion.

Just found this gem of a restaurant in my neighborhood! My friends and I enjoyed a variety of dishes, all delicious, in a welcoming and unhurried atmosphere. Kudos to the chef and our delightful waiter! Highly recommended.

Honestly this might be the best Indian food I've had in the Boston area. I went on a Sunday when I was ferociously hung over and I actually wanted to go to Ball Square Cafe but my girlfriend really wanted Indian so I relented. I'm so glad I went here instead of BSC though because the food was incredible. Everything was so delightfully spicy and the owner, Sam, was super welcoming and very kind. The food came out on sizzling platters as if we had ordered fajitas at a Mexican restaurant. The Naan wraps are everything I never knew I needed from an Indian restaurant and the Chicken tandoori made me feel love in a heart that was struggling from poor choices the night before. The mango lassi made me feel like I was being hugged by my grandmother. This meal was the best thing I've eaten so far this month, cured my hangover, and made my picky girlfriend happy enough to drive home so that I could nap in the passenger seat. 12/10 would definitely recommend. Go there, bring your friends, and be prepared to experience joy all throughout your body and soul.

The food is delicious, and the staff is super courteous and friendly! The restaurant isn't huge, but the interior is very nice and cozy (there are pillows galore!) All the chefs seem very dedicated to their craft, and it shows! I highly recommend dining in and getting the thali (such good value!) You also cannot go wrong with any of their Lassi!

We got take out from here and it was delicious! The chicken biryani and lamb Rogan josh were my favorite. They also sent free rice pudding for dessert which was a nice touch. We will definitely be back!

Great food and very friendly people running the place. What more can you ask for? I had an Eggplant Curry that was sooo good, and I'm not even a big eggplant person - don't ask me why I ordered it, but I'm SO happy I did!! If I lived locally this would be my go to Indian restaurant.

I have been eating Indian food from numerous places in and around the greater Boston area. House of Kebab is far and away the best experience I have had. Their food is fantastic and their menu offers many choices for people of all dietary restrictions and picky eaters too. The service is beyond excellent as well. I highly recommend trying it out sometime.
