Needs updates for the price. CLEAN! 4 stars, Cable 2 stars, WiFi 2 stars. Upon checking in to a disorganized mess, no waiting area at all, barking dog, being hushed because the lady was on the phone, being asked to wait outside and then being yelled at that it was OK to come in then was asked name and reservation information, to be asked to move again to get the keys. By this time we almost lost it and probably would have never left a review at all. But finally get to our room and later seeing office ladies drinking coronas and complaining about everything and everyone at a picnic table and was thinking they get paid for this most pain full check in and us customers and others are to blame ? Just stayed away from the office and leave the key in your room when you leave.

This was the first time my wife and I had the pleasure of staying at the Blue Jay Motel and have to say it was an excellent experience. The room was very clean and as my wife says "Soooo cute" The owner was a real Character, she made use feel welcome from the start!

We've been going to the Blue Jay for years. It was recently sold and we hoped it would remain as great a getaway place as it always was. We went back this week and were not disappointed. It was the super clean welcoming place it has always been! Going back in a week or so.

Room was dingy and worn--new owners have neglected it. No maid service--sad--we loved it before,and will never be back

Very Clean and cute. The 2 rooms we rented looked like a private cabin, ok mattresses, and the owners are awesome! My weekend was so much better because of Bluejay Motel. Great rates, too.

I love this motel, excellent service and location!

this place is a gem in the motel industry and coastal NH. Rose and Mary are amazing humans. Super clean, great service, ice cold rooms, and easy walk to the beach and boardwalk. Also easy to leave the beach driving as it's closer to the bridge side of the strip.

This place is great. Quaint little motel with very friendly and accomodating owners. The very nice lady took time to show us places to go eat and visit on the map as well as having helpful schedules and pamphlets about other fun events. There is an outdoor shower and absolutely huge, spotlessly clean motel grill for guests to use. Very reasonable prices for the peak of summer. We stayed on the second floor and there is a seemingly brand new, spacious deck. It has big patio tables and chairs with rugs, ample space and hanging flowers. Its been so nice to lounge on and relax, eat food, drink morning coffee. The beach is a 5min walk and there is the only gas station on Hampton Beach a block away. We stayed in a 2 person, queen room. The room itself was on the smaller side with retro wood paneling but was impeccably clean with a flatscreen, microwave, minifridge and keurig. You can tell the owner takes pride in this place and it was a great find. We will definitely return.

Rooms were a bit small, and the service was okay. Just make sure you speak clearly and make sure you ask all questions up front don't be shy just ask

Words cannot describe how incredible my experience at Blue Jay Motel was. The owners were the sweetest and funniest people I have ever met and the location could not be more perfect. My partner and I had a beautiful stay here, the rooms are so cozy and clean. We came for a show at Bernie's and wish we stayed longer. I can't wait to be back!
