What a brilliant find! We came here for breakfast every morning and had lunch and Ice cream once! Dappa is the ice cream which I loved! It’s such a good place and super cheap too. Staff were friendly and helpful too

Ok so I'm not a vegan although I'm definitely trying to scale my meat consumption back. This is the first vegan take away i have ever tried or any kind of meat alternative and i must say you have a takeaway convert! The bbq chick'n were really tasty it was actually really difficult to tell the difference! We had the burgers because the chick'n burgers were sold out but we can't wait to try those next time! You know the biggest difference i found was how much fuller it makes you feel, i never struggle to finish a meal but this one i did. 100% recommend

The Biscoff shake is the best milkshake I've ever had 🥤 Well worth the £6. I'm making it my mission to go back and try them all.

Wow!! Incredible food, amazing friendly staff what more could you want at breakfast time! The food was served fresh but quickly and oh my the taste was insane! Will definitely be returning to try the dinner menu, even made my smallest kiddo happy and thats near impossible 😁🥲 so thank-you too all the Amigos at Vegan Shack 💚

As someone trying to go vegan I thought I'd give this place a try. Very good food and good value with the lunch saver menu, to be honest the "cheese"burger tastes pretty close to meat and the vegan alternative to cheese is pretty nice. The fries are really nice and flavourful and you get a lot. Literally like Five Guys with leftover fries in the bag! Friendly and welcoming staff as well. Only lost one star because the disabled toilet doesn't have a red emergency cord which should be there, I didn't have time to mention it to one of the staff but if you could get this fixed and make sure the red emergency cord is dangling to the ground as it should be I'll happily update this to a 5 star review :)

We had the loaded fries and they were unbelievably good. We also had the chick’n nuggets and they were also amazing. Lots of gluten free options too. Definitely recommend this great little place!

Fantastic food and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend! Food was cooked quickly and tasted lovely. Prices were reasonable as well. Will definitely be going back when I'm back in Manchester.

Vegan Shack is hands down the best vegan fast food in the UK. Every item on their menu which I have tasted is divine and I keep getting amazed at how creative they are with each concoction of spice. As soon as you land in Manchester, do not even think of anything else if you are vegan or an omnivore: Go To Vegan Shack for a meal. I repeat: Go To Vegan Shack for a meal. Best in the game.

Best food I've ever had, never mind junk food or vegan food. Honestly, the food is to die for, the service is swift and for those who aren't vegan - the meat and dairy substitutes taste EXACTLY like meat and dairy. So happy Vegan Shack has opened at Piccadilly Gardens! Also great prices too! Re food: even the fries will blow your mind - in taste and in price.

My partner and I ate here. Our initial thought was it is expensive compared to traditional fast food outlets. However, the difference is in the food, it was outstanding. The topped Fries are enough for two people and the burger was also fantastic. Top job and recommended 👌

Mixed bag for me this one. We ate in and it's only a small place with a few places to sit. Pretty cold in the autumn with all the glass. The vegan burger was excellent and very tasty as were the fries. Good value with the meal deal. However we tried milkshake and a doughnut - both disappointing in quality and size and therefore overpriced. Would come back and get takeaway but wouldn't order anything sweet again, not worth it.

BEST VEGAN LOADED FRIES. Look I’m a fan of loaded fries, and these are so so good, the flavour is there, the seasoning is there, there’s a lot of Mayo which I love (taste just like how I wanted which is a bit like burger sauce). Listen, please try, it’s worth £7. You know what’s amazing about these fries? Even when you get to the bottom, it’s delicious, because THE FLAVOUR IS THERE. Lovely staff and clean store! Please please open more in the U.K.! I live an hour away from Manchester but I would drive all the way for these 😍

I had ordered the chicken burger & regular fries with the shack mayo. The burger tasted really nice and the fries were fresh and hot. I would have preferred the fries without the red salt however they were still nice. The price is a bit on the expensive side - £10.95 for burger, regular fries and a drink.

Omg the truffle burger!!! I've never tasted anything like it! Only wish i had room for two, delicious, i defy any meat eater to disagree, if they taste tested this in the city centre people would be amazed at its gorgeousness. Lovely ambience, friendly staff, delicious food- this place is wonderful. Could do with some plants in the windows and more space between the ad boards for people to look in and see how much the food is enjoyed maybe? But that's just my opinion, the food, service and people are great! Will return every time am in manchester.

I popped in here for a quick work lunch to take back to the office. I’m a vegetarian and have tried lots of these types of places and this one was top tier. The chicken and batter was great, the perfect kind of fast food taste. The chips were spiced and really nice too (you get so many with the lunch portion - I couldn’t finish them all!). Great lunch deal including drink for £7.

After spending 3 months in the UK, I finally got to taste the most amazing vegan chicken burger. The large fries they served were absolutely delicious and definitely worth it, not a scam at all.

Had the stack of pancakes with bacon and syrup. I paired this with a cappuccino and both were delicious. Great value for money.

Wow. Just wow. It’s been a year since I took the leap from veggie to vegan and I’m 100% sure if anyone had just one bite of their chicken strip burger they’d never eat meat again. The best vegan food I’ve ever had, nothing else quite compares. Not only is it delicious, the prices are so much better than I expected. Usually I’d attach a photo here but I’ve had it twice so far and not once have I been able to stop myself to take a photo. It’s that good. It’s worth mentioning the fries are the best I’ve ever had… everything is just phenomenal. These guys are pioneers.

I went for breakfast with my wife and kids and throughly enjoyed it. Breakfast is served until 11am. I had the vegan breakfast muffin, consisting of marinated tofu, melted vegan cheese with a meat free pattie and ketchup. My boys had the pancakes with syrup, I sampled a bit of it and they were also really delicious. Loved it, wish there was one in my home town as it'd visit it on a regular basis.

Came here for the first time yesterday, had the Chick'n burger and regular fries. It was hands down the best Chicken-style burger I've had, and the fries were to die for! 😙👌🏼 I'll definitely be coming back!

The BBQ loaded fries were delicious and the staff went 'above and beyond' to make the food as gluten free as they could. Brilliant. The food came in a cardboard box but with a plastic fork. Not quite so good!

I started following this business on Instagram some time ago and couldn't wait to visit so booked a weekend in Manchester to build a trip around having breakfast from here. It did not disappoint!

Vegan fast food! Tasted good and not very expensive (apart from the milkshakes). They gave us such a decent size portion of chips :).

Food tasted good. You can't tell it's vegan. Healthier options would be welcome though. Ordered at 1.30pm on a Thursday, had to wait 20 min, it's therefore better if you order online, and by the time you get there it will be ready for you. Packaging wise, my order came in a compostable box, but my drink (sweet tea) came in a non-recyclable plastic cup and a plastic straw. Could do better on that front. That + the wait accounts for loss of stars.

So happy Vegan Shack have opened a permanent restaurant! The food is always amazing, would recommend the chick'n bites with the honey glaze and the garlic butter tater tots in particular! Have been in a couple of times since they opened and the staff are always really nice.

Visited with a friend who loves the place, really good food and really decent portion sizes! Plus they do sweet tea!!💕

Absolutely amazing!! Great prices and the food is delicious. I'm from Georgia, USA so I can certify that the chicken bites are SEASONED and literally some of the best fried chicken I've ever had :) As a long time vegan I love this place and highly recommend!

Tried the £8.50 burger, as a meat eater it was a nice eat. Fries were top notch. Meal deal was in total £11.50 or so. Would visit again. The loaded fries look naughty

Had the vegan faux fish burger with shack fries. 6/10 for the food. Faux fish was a good texture, fries a little salty. And if there's 2 of you dining, you only need 1 portion between you. Staff really friendly and place clean

I tried the fake fish & chips, fish was amazing, not sure if it was banana blossom or not? The chips were way to salty peraonally but it was a massive portion. My fella had the loaded cheeseburger which was pretty tasty (better value for money than mine). Lovely staff, bright and clean store.

This is without doubt the best vegan eatery we've yet tried. Granted, it a little bit more pricey than other fast food outlets, but the quality and quantity of the food is excellent. Absolutely bowled over by the burger - tasted like it had come straight off the barbecue, and the amount of fries you get puts places like Burger King to shame. Definitely going back the next time we're in Manchester.

Just had the best burger we have ever eaten! We stopped eating red meat around 5 years ago and have tried a fair few vegan burgers over the years. We both ordered the Double Truffle burger (my partners was Gluten Free) and both said it was incredible! The sauce, the patty, the flavour and texture were amazing and the cheese was perfectly melted and stringy. Wish we'd ordered an extra one each! Would love to have a Vegan Shack near us back in Gloucester!
