😠 I am disgusted how we were treated by this place! My Uncle gifted them nearly a half of million dollars after death and it took them over a year and a half to EVEN acknowledge the gift or EVEN thank him or me!! I guess a half of a million dollars wasn’t enough, maybe you have to donate a million do... People often mention boxes, people,

I am disgusted how we were treated by this place! My Uncle gifted them nearly a half of million dollars after death and it took them over a year and a half to EVEN acknowledge the gift or EVEN thank him or me!! I guess a half of a million dollars wasn’t enough, maybe you have to donate a million dollars to this place to get a thank you or have an email or phone call returned after 4 months or a picture printed in a newsletter or social media to thank you for such an enormous gift?! Friends of his have died while waiting for acknowledgement! After 4 months of no response from the Executive director I contacted the president and 2 others and all were totally unapologetic. Zero compassion nor gratitude nor any respect for my dead uncle or me from these people after receiving and USING an astonishingly generous gift. It is beyond comprehension.

I had donated $100 this yr. A local church here has had food brought in 2x so far. I got to receive a box of what was leftover the first time and another tonight . They should be ashamed of the food they give. I not an ungrateful person. In the box was a bunch of rotten bananas 3 week old rotten mushrooms , a bag of lemons and a bag of limes and other rotten fruit I dont understand how anyone can eat that. How and what kind of meal do you make with that . Whatever happened to giving out a few canned items and non perishable foods items. The last box was filled with the same type of food. Old and outdated I almost wanted to take a picture and post it. I was disgusted to know that is the type of food I had donated someone to be fed

I volunteered for the Food Bank of Central New York over the summer and they are doing a very nice job with their Mobile Food Bank. They had us volunteers in Parish, NY at the local firehouse and we had a great big line of cars waiting for us to hand out the food boxes. The people really appreciated the food banks services.

They should be ashamed what they have charged me for, lawn was destroyed before me, I did run over, but only at the corner and you can see even at google maps that that all corners are destroyed, they don’t have curbs lights were off, this is how they make money..... never again, They charged me 400$ for 39m of lawn repair

Went to donate several bags of food and the guy at the loading dock wanted me to wait until he finished loading a truck. I asked if I could just place them by the door as I had to get to work and he said no I can wait. So I sat for about 10 minutes before leaving. Their hours for donation drop off is not friendly to the average working hours and they need to invest in a donation box so people can just leave donations. They also should have signage as to where to bring donations so youre not driving around the building and going into different doors trying to figure out where to go. I now have a trunk full of donations with nowhere to leave them.

I am a resident at B. B. Riordan School Apartments in Mattydale. Yesterday I received a box of food from you. It was absolutely wonderful, everything in there was something i could use. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I went and picked up 3 mothers and brought them to fairgrieve school today we sat in line for an hour and 20 minutes we were number 20 inline. When we got to the front to pick up boxes.. we were told only one box per car. I explained to the lady that there was three families in my car and she really didn't care. The cars ahead of us somewhere getting two boxes some we're getting four and I seen a guy in a pickup truck 6 boxes. And the cars that were getting multiple boxes had only the driver in the car.. The lady said that they were only allowing one box per car because there were over a hundred people who turned out to get the food boxes today. Regardless how many cars there were and they were almost out of everything at car number 20 .i was telling her that they should have started that from the get-go. Each car should have been allowed one box. I spent my gas my time to bring these girls there to get their boxes and two of them were denied to conserve the boxes for the other cars behind us. And left 2 women with small children with nothing... I thought it was on a first come first serve basis...the lady told me the driver decided to do this...

A great resource if you need food. They can direct you to mobile pantries and pantries near you or on the bus line. Very nice people on the phone!

Dropped off a $350 check 11/24/21 from ESM classes of 75&76. Were told that's enough to feed 1000 people. Employees very appreciative. It might not be that big a donation but day before Thanksgiving reminds you of what the holiday is all.about.
