😠 When this was Aspen it was so great. Since Crunch fitness took over it has been terrible. First of all Aspen prided themselves on the cleanliness if this place but crunch DOES NOT! Everything is filthy!! Disgusting! Praying someone who knows how to run a gym is put in charge soon! They raised prices... People often mention years, Aspen, told, membership, time, machines, staff, equipment, location, asked,

I’ll start by saying I have gone to Aspen for about 5 years now and have loved the gym and what it offers. HOWEVER, I just had THE WORST experience with the new management running the drivers village location. From the start of my membership I have had 2 children so of course when I signed up And asked for the daycare to be included it was known to the person who helped me enroll. Today- 5 years later I was told I have to pay $2 extra to bring my second child every time or update my plan. Not once was this EVER mentioned anytime I came to workout for the past 5 years. Now all of a sudden after 5 years I have to change my whole plan or pay 2 dollars every time I come with both my children. I right then and there canceled with them, it has never been brought up in my 5 years going there and I will not be charged more money for the same plan I’ve had for 5 years. Buh-bye

When this was Aspen it was so great. Since Crunch fitness took over it has been terrible. First of all Aspen prided themselves on the cleanliness if this place but crunch DOES NOT! Everything is filthy!! Disgusting! Praying someone who knows how to run a gym is put in charge soon! They raised prices on memberships and never told any members, and when asked about it they say they thought they sent an email. Seems like if everyone is asking and no one can answer... maybe they should send another email... They also changed memberships that we already had, splitting family memberships into individual memberships and each charged seperately. Again didnt tell anyone what was happeneing.how shady!!! Terrible way to start a business that has dedicated members... we are not dedicated to crunch. we didnt find out until i saw my bank statement and asked about it. No one recieved an email, ive asked around. Have to sign in with a phone now, which is silly not everyone is a teen with a phone always in their hand, not to mention it doesn't work half of the time. The older memebrs very much dislike this. Sinks in womens room do not work, half the machines glitch and dont perform properly but even when you tell them they dont even go check it out, they just say ok then go back to their cell phones. The employees dont interact with memebers in a friendly way. The staff (ESPECIALLY the females unfortunately) are rude and unfriendly. They do not greet you or even have a smile for anyone. And so unhelpful! I was told by one employee she just works here and doesn't have answers. If this is your job why can't you help me with my membership? They crammed so many machines in so tightly that it is now uncomfortable and are almost touching the person next you just like planet fitness. This place is literally a dirty glorified planet fitness now. But why! It was so great just months ago before new owners took over. So many people canceling and moving gyms. 3 people behind desk at a time and not 1 of them even acknowledged me because they were engulfed in their cell phones (as always!) until i asked if one of them could please help. They also do not answer the phone if they are playing on their cell phones. I miss the friendly staff and atmosphere that was Aspen. A few employees that still work after the change have voiced their dislike for the new systems, layout and work environment. Stating "they are trying to save money and messing everything up". Big downgrade but raise in price since crunch took over. Currently looking for a new gym since all my family and friends cancled their memberships here becaue of new management. Sneaky and bad business to raise prices without even an alert. We miss the previous comfort and kindness of the old aspen. I would say we need an aspen employee to show new owners how to run a proper gym so we can get back to business.

The Variety of equipment, from stair machines, to the classictreadmill and other kinds of similar equipment that I don't even know what they're called or their functionality, to the litany of weights, weight equipment for arms, legs, body, abs and everywhere else, I am working out muscles that I did not even know that had to begin with! the staff is and has always been kind, helpful, respectful and courteous, they have both the lay tanning machines and the stand up machines. The only thing they don't have that I hope they will someday (I am sure she will at some point) . I have lived many places and going to Aspen has truly changed my life in such a positive way. I fully endorse, go to 1-2 a day myself, and recommend any Aspen Gym location.(I prefer Cicero location; based on the proximity to where I live).

Haven't been to this gym in years. Used to love it. Was grandfathered in at $5/month nearly 20 years ago. I'd have been happy to pay even having moved to another city. However I received a bill for $130.99 via email! Apparently because my card isn't tied to the account now. Note, I've not been in that facility for nearly 2 years. Changing pricing arbitrary is not acceptable and poor business without good communication. I will never set for in the gym again nor pay for monthly costs I've never incurred. Major thumbs down for a garbage price increase.

Honestly I never complain but Jesus the owners and people running this place are the worst. Tried canceling numerous times after I moved out of state. Now that I'm home for a short time, I go to the location I usually went too and they are gone... they charged me and aren't even here!!!!!

Aspen fitness is the best gym in CNY hands down. Best staff and equipment and they are very knowledgeable. When you are ready to get into the best shape of your life choose Aspen.

Im giving this gym 2 stars not for the facility but for all the people that use this gym and take an enormous amounts of time using the machines and bench's. Very hard to get a workout in when they take 30 minutes on units.

While not used in the last several years, Ive kept the membership as a back up. I pay annually, the fee was minimal as I paid much up front. The place is being bought out by Crunch, I went to ask for my balance back, including an annual membership fee of $39, that is due in September. The blonde working at the Cicero location asked me if I was going somewhere else, which I have been going to a gym that is more expensive, and I told her. She said Aspen is no more and for what I pay at the other gym, I’m worried about $59.00. Worried, no, I paid up front including a membership fee for a place that as she said “is no more” good faith as I have for many years, want it back, yes. I do hope the new owners have better customer service than the Blonde. Will be leaving the review with them as well.

Not happy at all. Spoke to 3 different people regarding my decision to cancel my membership due to school and work. One girl I talked to was completely on my side and understood my position but could not do anything because she was not a manager. I spoke with a manager today, and let me tell you, he didn’t seem to care. Come to find out there is a $75 cancellation fee! On top of that there is a $39.99 annual fee! This was brought to my attention when there was a balance on my Aspen Member Account of $60. I should not be paying $115 to cancel a membership. When I came in to sign up I was not told about a cancellation fee, annual fee, or a contract. I was told to sign here and I was off with my day. Communication is key to something like this and management doesn’t seem to care. Overall terrible experience and I hope other people don’t have to go through what I had to go through.

I signed up; went once. The gym was so packed i stood around waiting for weights to open up. After 45 minutes. I left. I told them i didn’t think the gym was a good fit for me (I’m somewhat disabled; minimal exercise). That was fourth day after signing up (thought about it for a day). I was told everything was settled. No charges for three months. Randomly i get a 100$ charge on my card. I filed it as fraud, won via my bank, and called. Apparently I’m still locked in. They’re apparently going to be going to collections. I’ve sent aspen a multitude of emails that have fell onto deaf ears; I’ve received zero emails in response. Do not join this gym; something sketchy is happening here!

Been going here for years but recently the increase in 15-18 year old kids standing around, 5-6 in a group deep, doing nothing has tripled. When ya walk in and all machines and weights are taken but only 3 pairs of keys hanging up it annoying. Wish there was a time where "kids" couldn't go so the adults can enjoy a workout.

Aspen fitness is the best gym in CNY hands down. The staff is awesome and the equipment is amazing. So don’t bother with anything else and go to Aspen.

DIRTY DIRTY DIRTY. Within 5 minutes I knew this was not the gym for me. Also treated very rudely by staff who didn’t seem to want to answer any questions. Did not feel valued. I felt like just a number. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

It’s a good gym to workout in. I have been a member for maybe 15 plus years. My only complaint is they don’t ever get new equipment like the other gyms have. I don’t pay a lot, so not much to complain about, overall a solid gym just not very fancy.

I’ve been a member since 2011. Always found it to be a clean and well kept facility. In August of 2022 I slipped off my stepladder painting my garage. I totally ruptured my quad tendon. Completely pulled it off the quad muscle. After surgery and 6 weeks of PT, I was ok’d by my surgeon to resume gym activities. I started once a week sessions with Luke Angiolillo one of aspens trainers. He has done wonders for restrengthening, getting the flexibility and stability back in my knee. I also do a couple more days a week on my own. If you like someone to introduce you to overall fitness or specialized training, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND LUKE!

I have been a member of Aspen Athletic Club Cicero for 13 years and it has exceeded my expectations. The owner has gone above and beyond to provide a clean and safe environment for all members. I love the layout and the variety a new equipment she has been acquiring. I highly recommend this location.

It is a good workout facility. The only complaint I have I someone leaves his chewed gum in the men's shower on a daily basis, either on a small shelf or the floor of these individual showers. Really disgusting. Management doesn't seem to care

My favorite place to work out! Great space, clean, and wide variety of classes with topnotch trainers! The staff are knowledgeable and friendly and the owner (Nikki) is out of this world amazing! She has made it so much easier for me to stick to my workout routine!
