This is an economy hotel with close proximity to Santa Clara University. The manager is a great guy who goes out of his way to be of assistance. The room was clean, the area relatively quiet and I didn't experience any problems there. It's a good place. Parking is easy and there see some restaurants nearby for convenience. This hotel is in a decent part of the Santa Clara.

This is such a hidden gem like most people described. I was skeptical at first to book but Mr Ed was super amazing. He was very welcoming and a very friendly host. He even gave me a special pen upon check out. The hotel was quite clean and everything worked perfectly well. I am very pleased. I highly recommend. I would return when I come back to work in the area

Clean, comfortable, modern room. Simple place to rest your head. Have no hesitation about returning again for my future work trips. Motel style but felt plenty secure to me. Nice location with lots to see within walking distance and airport proximity is hard to beat.

Mr. Ed was great! Helped us get checked in even though we arrived late at night. Rooms were clean, spacious shower, nice tv, fantastic place to stay for any reason in Santa Clara.

This is a reasonably priced basic place. "Ed" was a very nice and friendly manager. I told him that I needed to check out around 7:30am to go back to SFO, he was waiting for me. Since I didn't have a heavy luggage it wasn't a problem but there is no elevator to go up to the second floor. Maybe if you have too many luggage, you may want to ask Ed to change to the lower floor. Room was generally clean with a tv, refrigerator, and hair dryer. However, there was someone's hair in a sink that was my only complaint. But if I need a room again in the future, I may go back there.

Amazing hidden gem! The owner Ed is personable and very sweet. You can tell he takes pride in his business! I felt safe and comfortable there. Parking is convenient. The room was cozy and clean. I stayed here one night after the Taylor Swift concert and was very pleased. I would come back again in the future.

I love this place. It is simple, clean, and right across the street from everything. The owner is so sweet, and friendly...I just love it...I hope that people continue to return to support Ed as a business owner. He's doing a great job!

the gentleman was so nice and friendly. i was worried because this is the first time i have rented there and im from northern Ca. i was so pleasantly surprised to find a room that was very comfortable and inviting with a fridge and microwave. lots of food places nearby and in walking distance and was a quiet setting that i felt safe in. i will definitely stay there if in the area again and will recommend this place to anyone and everyone. great experience!

The rooms are immaculately clean, the desk clerk is incredibly polite and the A/C works spectacularly. I'll be pleased to stay here again

So understanding that this is a motel, it is very decent for the price. Rooms were a bit drafty but there is a wall heater that worked well. Room was clean and simple with a mini fridge and microwave for convenience. The owner was extremely nice and very accomodating!

A wonderful Inn with great staff that was very accommodating, competitive pricing and he has some beautiful birds to boot. Very friendly and very tasteful we will make this our regular spot when we going to stay in San Jose.

Stayed at this place last weekend with my partner. Was just okay, not as good as these fake reviews make it out to be. How can you tell the reviews are fake? Almost ever single one of them talks about the mini fridge and microwave. Hilarious. Like real reviewers would do that. It is a clean place and having no carpets earns this place a couple stars.

Wonderful location close to bus routes and food. Was able to get a good price and fabulous value. Property is well-maintained, and staff are kind and responsive. Definitely recommend this property, and if I need to be in San Jose again, will definitely look here first :)

The owner/front desk man was awesome to talk to, very friendly and welcoming. The room is clean and secure, which is the most important part for me when staying at a 2-star motel. The location is great for SCU, highway 17/880 super close, a grocery store in sight from the front, great sandwiches and coffee literally across the street, and parking on-site is easy. Very competitive pricing as well. I would absolutely stay here again.

I loved this little motel! I prefer to stay at a little gem such as this one opposed to one of the bigger conglomerates. The room was so cozy and beautifully upgraded. Very clean & the staff was so incredibly accommodating when I arrived very late/a day late due to a intense convention at Santa Clara which is a short 12 minute drive from this location. Great food options across the street include ramen, a cafe and of course the infamous Bay Area classic, Ike’s Sandwiches.

Great place to stay if you are on your way to San Jose or need a place midway to SoCal. Clean, friendly and efficient staff (Grandpa Ed in the front office is extra helpful and friendly). Extra unexpected bonus is the rainfall shower head. Bed was comfy, although we could have used another blanket. Nicely updated with pavers. Reasonable cost in a popular area.

I travel frequently to the Bay Area for work and this hotel is the best I’ve found. Extremely affordable, rooms are clean and the owner is always happy to help. Highly recommended.

My friend and I stayed here for a couple of days on Memorial Day weekend & we loved it! Very clean, rooms are updated, loved the hard floors, nice shower, mini fridge is pretty big actually, plenty of parking. The location is great, so many food & drink options right across the street. Would definitely stay here again.

This was a really nice inn! The inside is renovated You can see there's a lot of thoughts in making it comfortable for clients. Washrooms have rain showers, the mirror has vanity lights, overall it was just really comfortable. It's also pretty close to everything. I do recommend this in, the owner is also very nice!
