I had a dentist appointment with Dr Shah’s wife today 9/15 and OMG she is amazing. I’ve always been very afraid of the dentist but she made it a very pleasant visit. She took her time and explained everything. She’s not there to rip you off as she gave me suggestions/options. She made me feel comfortable, I will be recommending her as well to other!!! What a great team!!!!! Dr. Shah is amazing, very informative, kind, patient and has your best interest at heart. This was my first visit and I was very nervous. He didn’t rush and made me feel super comfortable. At the end of my visit, he asked if I had any questions for him. I rarely am asked that. I will be referring others!!!!!!!

As someone who is extremely picky and familiar with the medical and dental field. I am beyond please and happy that I found this family owned practice. Both Dr Ami and Dr Vikas are absolutely amazing! Their staff is warm, welcoming and accommodating. Dr Ami and Dr Vikas gives their undivided attention as well as unbiased, patient centered advice. My husband and I are very happy to keep this practice as our family doctor.

Just had an appointment for a physical today and it was my first time as a patient at this office. The staff at the front desk is extremely knowledgeable, kind and welcoming. Dr. Shah is very professional, well educated, and willing to share insight in a very personable manner. He listened to all points I shared and gave feedback without pressure. He listened to what I felt worked for me and provided well rounded perspectives from all sides without criticism or forcing his own perspective on me. His neutral, accepting, and high quality demeanor is such a breath of fresh air. The office aesthetically, is very neat, clean and updated.

I hated going to the dentist, but Dr. Ami and the entire team really made this to be a comforting and great experience for me. This is the nicest dental practice I’ve ever been to. It was very warm and inviting in terms of decor, but they also used really cool technology I previously had no experience with. I usually get panoramic x-rays, but they had a more detailed imaging device. Valerie, the dental assistant, was really communicative when taking the x-rays. Dr. Ami was also really transparent about her assessment and the whole process. During the cleaning itself, they have two monitors- one large one for seeing your x-ray imaging and another monitor on the ceiling, so that when you lay down you can still watch something else to take away from the anxiety of someone drilling into your teeth. They offered me headphones for calming music and even a blanket if the office was too cold. They also did a cold test and did a nerve test to make sure my nerves in my jaw/teeth were fine. Dr. Ami was also very attentive and understanding about my anxieties. I usually hate the dentist because the ones I’ve had in the past were older and quite frankly would shame me about my poor dental hygiene as a result of my lifestyle and mental illness, but Dr. Ami and the team were really understanding and were encouraging. They understood that I’m human, and that I’m doing my best. They really came from a place of caring for a patient, and that they just ultimately want to see me healthy. It was a very honest conversation, and I’m really glad I was able to find them. This was the best experience I’ve had at the dentist, and I’m comfortable in coming back. I also have to get my cavities filled, and they were transparent that my insurance does a price difference between silver fillings and tooth-colored fillings. I was willing to pay it since I prefer tooth-colored instead of silver. Also, my teeth felt super clean after! Dr. Ami even showed me the proper way to floss, and I feel more comfortable in flossing as well. You also get a goody bag that had some thought into it- besides the toothbrush and toothpaste, there was waxed floss, purple Listerine mouthwash, and even a Listerine coupon. She explained the difference between waxed floss and non-waxed floss. I didn’t even know the difference or that it’s easier to floss with waxed floss. She even explained that purple Listerine is alcohol free and wouldn’t dry my mouth out as much. Definitely recommend the practice. They’re very professional, thoughtful, and attentive. I really wish I had dentists that were as great as them when I was younger, cause then maybe I wouldn’t have hated going to the dentist so much.

I was in need of a new primary care doctor and went here for an annual physical after a recommendation from a friend. The office is very clean, office staff were kind, and there was no wait time. Dr. Shah had a warm bedside manner and was very friendly. He was informative, detail-oriented, and took his time. I would recommend him to family and friends!

Family Medicine & Dentistry has been the best dental experience I have ever had. The doctor is patient, explains things clearly and, most importantly, spends time with the patient more than just a brief check. I cannot recommend this practice enough. All staff are kind, the facility is clean/modern and patients are treated with respect and kindness!
