A surprisingly pleasant dining experience with Georgian food at Rioni restaurant. The place is so spacious and lively. We were greeted and served with care! Staff were lovely and attentive, especially our server - David, despite the fact that they’re quite full. I was so impressed with their grilled quails. Seasoned simplistically but so delicious. I guess less is more! Bread was soft and fresh. I highly recommend you try their grilled quails and pork. The sausage dish is quite okay. Unfortunately, the beef stew was a bit meh, but that doesn’t affect much on my dining experience. Lemonade was also surprisingly tasty.

Delicious Georgian food, especially for meat lover. The meat quality was so good and perfect. We were 3 people, we ordered group set number 2. The price 49 per person was reasonable and worth. We ordered one more Georgian lemonade 5,5eur, pear flavour was the best. My friends felt really good though. Service was fast. Definitely recommend.

First of all the owner of the restaurant was super friendly and and all around awesome host. She told us how to eat some of the Georgian food as well as recommended wine and drink choices. The food is definitely on the heavy side but so delicious. We ended up asking for take away boxes for the rest of the food. The price for the location, food and ambience of the restaurant was pretty good. Not too over priced in my opinion. Expect to spend about 10-13 euros for starter and 20-25 euros for the main. We didn't end up taking dessert since we were super full but those started from 8euros or so I believe. I would highly recommend trying the tarragon lemonade drink! Very unusual but delicious.

This was my first Georgian restaurant. Not that I’m unfamiliar with Georgian culture, but I haven’t been specifically in a Georgian restaurant in Europe before. The service was amazing! Specifically the young dude who tries to explain about the foods and how they are served, and he checks on you regularly for a possible request. The food was delicious and different from what you usually call food in western Europe. As a born Iranian person, I found the food close to Persian cuisine. However, I couldn’t give 5 star to the food quality considering the price of the food. The atmosphere was cozy and gives you a warm and friendly feeling when you eat in the well decorated patio.

What an amazing experience we had with a group special occasion dinner. The authentic Georgian food was absolutely delicious. The staff was friendly, helpful and welcoming. I loved the garlic chicken, grilled pork and Georgian dumplings. You certainly won’t go away Hungary.

Loved this restaurant. Had an early diner at 18:00 with a friend. She had the tomato-eggplant stew. I had the cauliflower-walnut stew. Absolutely delicious. Especially the tomato-eggplant was the best I’d ever tasted. Service was super friendly and quick. And the restaurant has a nice quiet atmosphere suitable for family, couples or just for a quick meal. Prices are very reasonable for Finland. Definitely some 0lace to come back to!

Maukkaat ruoat tuotu koko ajan loputtomasti pöydälle. Makkara, grillitua porsasta ja hatsapuri olivat suosikki. Kaikki maistuivat hyviltä paitsi hunajakakku, oon yleensä sen suurfani, mutta tässä olisi kuin liikaa upotettu hunajassa. Liian makea sokeripommi 😅

Very pleasant experience! Went there with friends (and 2 dogs!) on Saturday evening but they managed to get us a table 🥰 (so I recommend booking in advance coz it is popular!). Food was really tasty and service was really friendly. I took cauliflower and walnut stew and we shared oven cheesebread (it was my favorite!!!). Dessert honey cake was also delicious 😋 I warmly recommend this place! And it is dog friendly (BIG bonus from me and Isla 🐶) even though it isn't mentioned on their website :)))

Had an amazing experience. Angela, our waitress, was exceptionally welcoming. She delighted us with a complimentary chocolate cake for our birthday celebration. The food was delicious and authentic. Definitely recommend for great food and warm service!

Dined in a nice relaxed courtyard, and the friendly waiter was very helpful and polite. The chicken grill plate was excellent. The pork was unfortunately overcooked and some pieces were tough and dry. The boat shaped bread, while interesting, wasn't particularly amazing

I have no idea about Georgian food but if what i had from this restaurant were the authentic Georgian foods, I got into them. All staff, atmosphere, and food were nice! I ordered a couple of dishes i can find in the reviews in common. I thought that they were good enough to get into Georgian food.

This was a highlight on our trip to Helsinki. Natalie was wonderful and helped us choose from an extensive menu. If we had a few more nights in town, we definitely would have been back. The food was incredible and the atmosphere inside is really cool. If you are in the area, you 100% need to give this excellent resteraunt a try.

We had never had Georgian food before and decided to give Rioni a try based on ratings. Oh wow! We ordered the grilled chicken with spicy tomato sauce and dumplings to share and were so impressed. It was so fresh and delicious, we can’t wait to try more off the menu. The wine was also very nice! The service was warm and helpful describing the regions dishes.

Went there for New Year's eve with some friends and we ordered a menu to share, everything tasted really good! Personal favorites were the cheese bread,georgian kebab and grilled pork skewer. Only small complaint would be that it would be better to serve the appetizers first and wait a while before bringing the mains. Amazing location and environment and I will totally recommend it to anyone visiting, especially if they haven't tried Georgian cuisine before!!!

Hands down, the best Georgian restaurant in Finland! Everything from the variety of the menu to the friendliness of the stuff is there for you to enhance your dining experience. The dishes and wines are full of flavors. Although it is a bit on a pricey side (starters, for example), one main dish is more than enough to feed the hunger and satisfy your taste buds. A good choice for bigger companies as everyone will have something to choose from (both vegans and meat-lovers). This is the place that once tried, you will be always craving for!

We had the eggplant rolls as starters and I was really surprised by how good it tasted as I don’t usually enjoy eggplants. The main course was grilled pork with fried corn bread. The grilling was done perfectly and we were glad the waiter had recommended it to us. Dining atmosphere was relaxing and perfect for anyone looking for a something special at a fair price in Helsinki.

A true hidden gem in Helsinki city center. A romantic and cozy atmosphere with great food, friendly staff and superb service. Great vibes. Feels like we were travelling somewhere with vineyards and great food. The food was shared with the whole group, even the drinks (from bottles to our separated glasses, if that's what you're concerned 😉), which allowed us to explore the excellent Georgian cuisine, together. It warmed our hearts so much in the middle of the Nordic winter.
