Tbilisi is the best restaurant in Tampere. Period! It’s the best because it is such a perfect combination of everything what matters . It’s contemporary but cosy the food is edgy, modern, exotic but it was created with love and care. The same you can feel from the service, that hospitality, kindness and care turns this place to an oasis for body and soul. This place has a great character, it shows the rich traditions of Georgia, it teaches you about the flavors which always had some nice twist and freshness in it. This and the plating elevates the food into a gourmet level. On the top of it the prices are very reasonable the portions are even challenging for a man. And all of this is at a great location in the heart of Tampere. I didn’t find the smallest problem or discomfort here. From the interior design to the table ware everything shows perfectionism and the food reveals passion. I love all of it!

First time ever having Georgian food. Amazing flavors. Great portion sizes and inexpensive at lunch. Wonderful service and staff. Photo of lunch salad and khachapuri. Highly recommend and I will stop back again on next Tampere visit.

We had a delightful dinner at Tbilisi. It was my first time trying Georgian food and I really enjoyed it! The waitress even sung live for us all half way through the dinner with her guitar, and her voice was beautiful. The table service was great too. I recommend trying the chicken mtsvadi, adjarian khatchapuri,and cauliflower kharcho. Can’t wait to go back to try the other dishes on the menu ☺️

Excellent dining experience! Food was tasty with many options to both vegans and regular eaters. Food portions were good size and filling. Staff performed also live music which made the dining experience feel special, just like being abroad.

We have been to Restaurant Tbilisi for three times already. The food is excellent, the service fast and the atmosphere is so kind and welcoming. When we want to celebrate something or when our friends come to visit us in Tampere, we always choose to have dinners in Tbilisi. Thank you very much for our great experience! Tbilisi comes from word ‘tbili’ which means warmth in Georgian language. This is exactly what you feel while visiting this place. Friendly stuff, great service, cozy place and authentic Georgian food in the heart of Tampere. Just drop by and you won't regret it! But hurry up as there are almost no places during rush hours!

Surprisingly one of the best restaurants in Tampere. Really, just give it a chance! Very cozy and nice place. Waiters are very friendly, big portions, low prices and the food is super tasty!

I had absolutely one of the best lamb dishes I have ever had in this restaurant. Very distinct presence of coriander in the beet sauce and bean sauce made the condiments very unique and flavourful. The owners are very nice and professional. Strongly recommended. Make sure not to miss this experience.

Todella herkulliset maut ja hauska paikka! Menusta löytyy viiriäistä, mikä yllätti ja testattiin. Viiriäinen oli jännä kokemus, hyvä, mutta hieman hidas ja hankala syötävä pienine luineen. Silti paikan helmi on annoksen kanssa tarjoiltava kylmä tomaattikastike, joka on älyttömän herkullista! Myös muut lisukkeet ovat hyvän makuisia. Annos on reilun kokoinen eikä jätä nälkäiseksi. Parasta paikassa on hyvin huomioidut allergeenit: gluteenitonta ja laktoositonta on tarjolla hyvin ja henkilökunnan lämminhenkinen ote kruunaa illan! Keittiöön on myös avoin näkymä pöydistä, mikä on hauska yksityiskohta. Paikka on pienehkö, joten pöytävaraus tai soitto kannattaa tehdä. Tänne palataan ehdottomasti kokeilemaan myös muita annoksia! 🤩

I spent two days in Tampere and after trying this restaurant the first day, I booked immediately a table for the day after. The food is fantastic, very fresh and made with care and passion. It is like eating at someone’s home! The menu is very good and has a varied offer of different dishes of the Georgian cuisine as well as drinks. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. I like that they tell customers how some dishes like khachapuri and khinkali are usually eaten. They are very helpful and you can tell they do it from their heart. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Maukas ruoka ja viini. Mukavat työntekijät, jotka löysi tilaa lapsiperheelle. Ravintola on hieman pieni niin suosittelisin varauksen tekemistä.

The service and ambiance were excellent, and of course, the taste was amazing! I highly recommend their lamb chops and dumplings. The portions are generous, and we left very satisfied!

I think it is one of my best restaurant experiences ever. It was my first time in a Georgian restaurant. The waitress explained to us the history of any plates and how to eat, amazing. The prices are average. Totally recommend

We had a dinner with colleagues here. This restaurant is a paradise for meat lovers! A wide range of meat dishes, including pork, chicken, lamb and even quail (viiriainen) followed with a good Georgian wine or Borjomi. In addition, khinkali and khachapuri were excellent! All of these is served with perfect service in Finnish or English!

Stopped in on a recommendation from a friend. It is tucked away down a side street but close enough to the main road. The owner and staff were very inviting and humerous. Food options were varied and vegetarian friendly! We had the vegetrian meatballs with beets, spinach, and pumpkin in walnut sauce and cauliflower cream with lots of Georgian bread. Good atmosphere and prices. Recommend trying this local business whether you are travelling through Tampere or staying longer.

We had ordered khachapuri home from here about a year ago, and then it was a real deal, a thick delicious bread full of cheese. I don't know what has happened to this place, but now when we again ordered khachapuri home it was completely different, like a bad joke. It was like a 14€ naan bread, flat disc, literally 1 cm thick, nothing to do with khachapuri. I've attached pictures because it is hard to describe this travesty with words. Unbelievable, and this from a restaurant with 670 glowing google reviews. Makes one wonder how genuine they can be.

Wonderful Georgian food! The restaurant was very well kept and the service was fantastic. Our waiter had lots of suggestions and checked on us regularly. My chicken in garlic cream sauce was super tender and perfectly grilled. Would definitely come back again!
