My only complaint is that I didn’t come sooner. Star dishes were the mushroom/sweet potato (with a carmelized leek sauce that had clearly actually been cooked to carmelization, yum) and the lamb shoulder ragout. What a meal! The 7 course option left us full but was worth it. And the wine pairing was very thoughtful, also very much worth the add-on. It was a high-end meal for a special evening, but we were so impressed, and we’re keeping a hawk eye out for any excuse to go back asap. We sat at the chefs table, and have to give an extra shoutout to the brunette girl in the kitchen—she seemed to be on grill duty, and she was the only person in the kitchen who never stopped moving. Kudos to everyone there, including the wonderful wait staff, but the merit badge goes to the lady sous chef!

Very cute spot!!! Good coffee, amazing pastries and bread! Loved everyone who we interacted with. They all seemed to be happy working there and were very helpful. I hope they start selling the butter from upstairs soon 😁 Will be back regularly!!!

The ambience and the food are well aligned. They bespeak a sensibility that expresses modernity of taste and interest. The offerings try very hard to be distinctive and the effort pays off. Notable are the Kale flavored risotto and the slices of turnip on the vegetarian menu. The wine pairings were well chosen, well matched to each dish and very well described by the highly knowledgeable server. The clean open feel of the restaurant seems to especially invite couples and girls-night-out groups. Excellent service.

A phenomenal experience! We did the 7-course tasting with the respective pairing. Favors were great and the amount of food was decent. Service was very attentive and the staff were also went above and beyond to show me around the restaurant space and back garden. Highlights for me were the bread, pasta, fish, and steak. Do not be afraid to ask for more bread, it is delicious. The space is a converted warehouse with heaps of charm. I would definitely dine here again when I’m in SLC again.

Fantastic experience for our anniversary dinner. I can't say enough about the excellent service and the perfection of each dish. We did the 7 course and were stuffed! Worth every penny.

What a delightful, tasting experience! The staff was extremely nice, and dinner was not rushed, so you have plenty of time to enjoy the food and company. The atmosphere seemed trendy, and comfortable, no need to dress fancy if you don't want to. Each course was full of tasteful flavor combinations, and all of the drinks (wine, cocktails, non-alcoholic fancy drinks) were worth every sip. The decaf coffee was perfect with dessert. Will definitely be back!

Mind Blown. The flow of this kitchen was like watching a well orchestrated dance , from the view of the chef's table. Everything we tried was layered in flavor , and the experience was unique and memorable. The executive chef was the most down to earth person , nevermind chef , I've ever met , and the sous chef ran the kitchen with efficiency but was clearly loving every moment of it. I loved how the passion for the taste at hand was palpable! Highly recommend and will be back for each of their changing seasonal menus.

Third year in a row coming here for our anniversary, and we've moved away from SLC last year. The tasting menu always changes, and it's always reaching for new things. I'm always pleasantly surprised at every dish except the bavette steak. If you're going for that, then it's rather good, but genuinely experience the other dishes. Some will surprise you if they are items you don't usually have.

We brought a bachelorette party to this restaurant and it was amazing food and service. David was our server and made the experience even better. We did the 7 course meal with the wine pairing and walked away VERY full! Top tier experience, we highly recommend. Also, the mocktails were great too! Extremely accommodating.

Highly recommend! I was visiting SLC from DC for work and looking for a solid fine-dining restaurant for my last night. Coming from a larger city with an incredible food scene, I was not sure what to expect in SLC. Table X did not disappoint! I had the seven-course tasting menu with wine pairing. The house-made sourdough bread and intermountain mushrooms at the beginning were the perfect start to the meal. The Arctic char and lamb pasta were two of the better dishes I’ve had recently. The wine pairing was really well thought out and I enjoyed all of the wines. If I had to nit pick something it would probably be the beef. I’m not a big fan of grass fed due to the lower fat (flavor) content, but recognize they are sourcing locally so not a big deal. That being said, the Refosco wine pairing with the beef was out of this world! Anyone in the SLC area looking for an elevated dinner should 100% consider Table X. You won’t regret it!

Delicious, very well plated and balanced. I had the 7 course and it did not disappoint! The wines paired with it were a great accompaniment. Highly, highly reccomend this dining experience! Our server and his assistant were top notch! Very knowledgeable, super friendly and definitely made the meal that much more enjoyable!

Table X is a unique dining experience. The menu changes at least weekly in order to provide the freshest seasonal ingredients in every meal. You have your choice of a 5 or 7 course menu, with a vegetarian option if desired. You can also purchase an accompanying alcoholic or nonalcoholic beverage course meant to compliment the meal. Each course was carefully prepared using locally produced food whenever possible. The one staple is the house made sourdough bread with house cultured butter. Both were scrumptious! We ordered the nonalcoholic beverage course since it is so rare to find. The drinks were tasty and unique, like a rhubarb spritzer and mushroom (yes, mushroom) shrub. For foodies that want to be surprised and delighted at every visit, Table X is a must!

Unequivocally and easily the best restaurant in Utah right now. And they have stepped up their game post-COVID. The creativity, the intense, unconventional flavors, the execution, and the plating is all superb! It's a shame we have no Michelin Inspectors near Utah, as Table X would most certainly earn a few stars, without doubt. Will be back often.

Every dish was deliciously and beautifully executed. Great service. We love how Table X uses locally sourced ingredients— many from their own garden. A perfect night out for a special occasion. Salt Lake gem. Photo of Spring 2022 menu below.

This is a 10 out of 5 stars. I don't think we could find someplace in SLC that would out do Table X. I'm sure the experience would be amazing at the standard tables but it was a whole different experience sitting at the chefs table. We watched the Chef, Sous chef and the others cooking work like a well oiled machine. The food stood on its own 100% and was elevated by the artistic plating of each and every element of each and every dish. All placed carefully and with thought. The food was delicious and obviously thought through. Each dish complemented the previous. I went with the non alcoholic drink pairing which was like a secondary adventure that went hand in hand with the food. I can't rave enough about the food. The service was phenomenal. The whole team working to create an experience that brought everything together. Our main server Jay was wonderful along with the rest of the front of house. Each person cared for us as their own. When I booked our reservation, I was like dang that's a great price for the 7 course meal. After experiencing it, I would have paid triple and not batted an eye. This is definitely more than a restaurant. It's a dining experience that keeps the excitement of kitchens, service and food alive in people like myself. It made me almost miss working in the industry. If you haven't been here or sat at the chefs table for a night, run! don't walk, to book this.

Celebrated my boyfriend's birthday here and it was exquisite! The food was amazing. We did the seven course tasting and each person that served us was professional. They truly knew the ingredients in each of the wines and the food. They have their own garden and use a lot of fresh ingredients in their meals. It was amazing to dine this way. Also the butterscotch pudding was one of my favorite desserts I've ever had. Because of this visit, we are now looking into trying chef tastings at other locations to see if we can have a similar experience. Whenever we are in salt lake we will be back to eat here. It was perfect for us.

Really interesting and tasty dishes -- there were ingredients and components that I would never have in my day-to-day because I'm not a huge fan, but Table X managed to make the flavors all work together. We did a 7-course with non-alcoholic drink pairing and the drinks were really well thought out and unique as well. Great service and attention to detail. Spacing of the food was also good. Sources of the food are on the menu and the server will also let you know where ingredients are from as the plates arrive. Overall had a fantastic experience and will definitely return!

Fantastic food. 7 course tasting menu with creative dishes. The menu changes often. I think for me it's just slightly too much food but it is all delicious and ultimately hard to resist. My one complaint- I went twice in the span of 3 weeks and the 2nd dessert didn't quite hit the mark but other than that everything was excellent (the pasta dishes were both incredible). It took us about 2 hours for our dinner which feels about right (although my European stomach would prefer 2.5 hours) . Staff was great. The atmosphere is relaxed but ambiance is elevated which makes for a wonderful atmosphere. I really enjoyed myself. Also, definitely make reservations. We went mid/late week and the place was quite full both times.

The whole experience was great! Some in our group did the wine pairing, others did the non alcoholic drinks, each seemed to really pair well and enhance flavors as we ate and drank. We were in town for work and took some clients here and it was a great impression for them, you can’t miss with this restaurant!

Food was tasty, some dishes were flatter than others but overall a very delicious experience. Service was absolute too notch with frequent check ins with our wait staff and good plate descriptions. Would recommend dinner here - you will spend more than normal for SLC, but would say one of the top 10 dinner spots I've been in the city.

Delicious food that is for a sophisticated palate. Each course was full of flavor and complex tastes. Their sourdough bread and fermented butter was fantastic! So much that we had to order bread to go to eat at home later. Service and staff were great and the spacing of time between each course was perfect. I love the description of each course as they presented it and that the menu was left on the table to know what was coming next and to see what vendors they use locally. I admired they added an additional required tip to support their staff. Honorable to mention the struggle within the restaurant industry to help make more people aware. The restaurant has a more open modern rustic design. This was my only thing that wasn’t my favorite. I wish they had more private booths as opposed to open small tables. It felt a little more informal for the incredible food you eat there. Definitely recommend going. Perfect place to celebrate any occasion or just to enjoy fine quality food with delicious fresh ingredients from local vendors.

My wife and I celebrated our first anniversary here. We were both thoroughly impressed with the quality of food and service. So many local ingredients, even from the private garden out back. Flavors were really thought out and combined in an artistic way. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Very expensive even without alcohol but the kitchen staff works hard to bring out 5-7 beautiful courses so it’s worth it.

Really glad we finally went to TableX! We enjoyed the entire experience and the service was great. We did the 7 course with wine pairing and felt it was a comparable experience to similar fine dining! We also felt the cost was very reasonable for a great experience. Looking forward to bringing our foodie friends!

Had a truly fantastic evening at Table X. We both enjoyed the seven-course meal with the non-alcoholic drink pairings. Everything was beautifully prepared, perfectly timed, plated, excellently, and the service was well done. Highly recommend this spot, and serious kudos to the professionalism and creativity of the kitchen staff.

The experience front to back every single time I come here is just exquisite. They went above and beyond for my birthday. The service team is consistent and amazing, Cassie is a competent and talented server, and everyone who touched the table was detail oriented and well trained. The FLAVOR… I can’t say enough about the talented chefs. The plating, color & texture play, the seasonality and diversity of dishes is simply divine. Having opened a Michelin Starred restaurant in San Diego, I feel more than qualified to state that if Michelin came to SLC, they would be crazy not to award a star to this absolutely phenomenal restaurant experience. This restaurant doesn’t even need the award, nor the politics associated…they’ll still be killing the game and make everyone else fight for second place.

Table X was absolutely incredible. There were so many unique and fun flavors and everything was cooked to perfection. The mushrooms were seriously the best I have ever had, like seriously, maybe the best bite of food I've had in my life. And the Buttermilk custard with hibiscus and olive oil is something unforgettable. Our waiter, Mickey was incredibly nice. All of the staff were incredibly knowledgeable about what they were serving, (even knowing which vendors it was purchased from). The whole experience was phenomenal. It was a perfect way to celebrate a decade birthday.

Exceptional! Came here for our anniversary. Try the 7 course. Non-alcoholic drinks were good. They need more meat courses. I haven't eaten this many veggies, ever 😆. For the price, they could have done a better job with the anniversary plate.
