Usually has everything we need. Love the fuel points. It adds up greatly. Get 4 stars for discontinuing using visa credit card.

Once again, it's prime time and the employees are using the majority of the carts meant for the customers. There are memes about folks not wanting to use the bulky carts, here your employees are using two for storage on a few items. At the other end of the store 3 carts are being used for employees trash hoard. ** There are no carts at the front. **

The prices listed are not the correct price without a digital coupon. The price tags for smith's card and digital coupons appear the exact same so you have to carefully read each price tag which is weird and gets old fast. I'm not trying to download an app on my phone to shop. It is quite frustrating. The sushi used to be great, but the last few months it is super soggy and the rice is gross. 😝 I stopped getting it and that makes me sad it is so bad now.

I am not at all impressed with Smiths pickup service. The link they sent me when order was ready did not work...just said error. Then for the receipt, that link didn't work either. It just said no link found. Even though I live closer to Smiths, I'm going to shop Walmart.

I went in to have my nieces balloons blown up for her birthday, the lady helping me seemed really put out to do her job. I was more than happy to pay the price of their balloons just for them to filll up the ones i had bought (dianasour themed), the lady was extremely rude and was irritated that i had asked for the specialitie dianasour ballons to be filled as well. She kept repeating id have to pay, and i kept saying that was fine. She still proceeded to act irritated and rude so I just took them to blow up by mouth myself, she acted as though she was paid commission. I did not have this issue last year why I decided to go back. Note to management if your staff thinks they're butt is made out of gold and they can't service people (their job) they need to be fired.

This review is for the bakery. They can't even get your order right. The lady didn't even fill out the sheet correctly and we didn't get what we wanted. They didn't even tell us they messed up. Just let us find out and be disappointed. She didn't even offer to right her wrong with a discount.

Went in to pick up some groceries for a barbecue and happened to have my younger sister with me. I tried to purchase an adult beverage and the self checkout woman denied me as I was walking up (without bothering to check my ID at all) on the basis of a law she invented on the spot claiming everyone with me had to have their ID checked. In Utah only the purchaser is required to have their ID checked. Otherwise, people with their kids accompanying them wouldn't be purchasing alcohol either. Extremely rude and uneducated staff. I would recommend going to any store in the area other than this one. Went down the street to a store that follows the law and doesn't actively pick fights with their customers and made my purchase. I will not shop here again.

I love this store. I do, however, wish they would move their car carts. I don't like having to walk through the employees smoking in order to get one for my child.

The self checkout is trash... Self checkout gives me problems every single time I go to that store. Each station has a camera, and probably using AI, if it thinks I'm trying to steal something, it's going to pause and an employee has to scan their code to get it to continue. You have to strictly follow this for it to not pause your checkout: Must checkout one thing at a time. Literally you can only take one item out of the cart at a time. Can't hold 2 items at once or else AI will think you're trying to steal something. Cannot have anybody help you. (Removing stuff from the bag area for example) And many others because I still get paused following this alone. Sometimes a checkout employee will stand right behind you and watch you checkout your things. A little uncomfortable for most people. Within 3 feet of you. The employees are nice

Good store, pick-up is easy to use and they're even willing to make reasonable substitutes at pick up should a customer accidently make an error inputting their online order. Not a complaint but more a suggestion to have more short and small carts, those are fun to use and take up less space in the aisles. : )

This pharmacy is great, the techs and pharmacists are awesome. Great experience. But, they are a busy location and pharmacy (the industry) has changed in the last few years making it so techs and pharmacists are overworked with less help and more work with vaccines (techs now can get certification, but that means they are away from other duties). Retail pharmacists have been overworked for decades. Even with filling machines and the amount of employees they have, they are STILL working when they should be taking a break. They are simply overworked and all these reviews show it. If Kroger invested in their employees, this would be one of the best pharmacies to go to. They could utilize what they have. It is simply corporate cannibalism of their own pharmacy after they ate up local, small pharmacies that could have taken the excess in vaccines and other dispersants of medications on back order for unknown timelines.

Amber, the manager, treated me fairly and with respect regarding an issue I recently had. She was polite and professional. I am comfortable shopping here and would recommend this store to anyone. -Kyle

Never ever purchase a birthday cake or order from there bakery. This is our neighborhood smiths, we have had our sons cake ordered here and three years in a row they have screwed it up. Like bad.

Smith's in Layton is always consistent for what I am looking for. They have a great gluten free selection and they keep adding more. Highly recommended.

*Important.. Please Read* If you purchase a gift card from the Layton Smiths, and the checker happens to NOT put it in your bag...there is NOTHING they can do about it. You are out the $$ even with the receipt. With that kind of policy, this encourages staff to be dishonest. I suggest making sure that they hand you any gift card that you purchase, and not "Bag it".

Generally prefer to shop here but deli people could be nicer. Some are just rude. If I need deli items I will usually make a trip to Bowmans. Much more friendly and helpful.

Jordyn and Andrew went out of their way to help my daughter and myself out. Andrew got a motorized cart for my daughter who just had surgery. Jordyn went out to our car and helped put the groceries in

This smiths seems to struggle bad. They sell bad produce that’s usually bruised and mashed and not any useable quality. They also sell expired products. I have had to go back multiple times to exchange or just repurchase bad or expired items. The store needs an audit and overhaul to insure bad and expired products are removed

Friendliest grocery store in Davis County. Get gas here and quickly be on your way. Save when you shop here. A John Wayne kind of place.

Loved one never had a stress disorder until working here. She should be on workmens comp. Your HR department needs to learn the rules. I plan to fight for the rights of my loved one ! This store should be a shame of itself.

This store is clean and organized. They seem well staffed compared to many businesses right now. I love that they have a Starbucks inside that's also well staffed and their drinks are delicious!

I've never experienced a grocery store so nonchalant about disregarding customers. First, I went to the meat counter to see if they had any chicken kabobs, only to find they didn't have any product out whatsoever. There were two people behind counter, so I asked when they would be available for purchase. The first person ignored my question. The second person told me probably not until this afternoon. Though very inconvenient, I asked if I could order them and pay now, then pick then up later. He seemed put out and asked how many I would need. I told him 15-20 and immediately he told me they wouldn't be ready until tomorrow. I told him to disregard the request and that I'd go elsewhere. Second, I asked an employee where the phyllo dough was located and without missing a beat she responded by saying she works in floral and didn't know. I suggest management actually train their employees on customer service and weed out those who honestly are just horrible at their job. Though it makes no difference in the grand scheme of things, I'll find anywhere else to go grocery shopping moving forward instead of giving Smith's my money.
