The
place
is
quite
eccentric,
old
fashioned
and
although
the
word
is
overused
these
days
"quirky."
However,
the
guy
Christophe
is
a
modern
miracle,
on
the
one
hand
he
is
a
throw
back
to
the
days
of
courteous,
charming
and
constantly
available
hotel
managers,
but
on
the
other
hand,
he
has
a
modern
outlook,
familiar
with
the
old
and
new
school
of
finances
and
other
countries,
and
has
a
family....!
Which
you'd
never
expect
considering
he
seems
to
keep
less
socially
acceptable
hours
than
Dracula,
whom
he
has
a
passing
resemblance
to
(maybe
the
lounge
version
of
Dracula),
down
to
the
cravat
and
the
dark
hair.
The
rooms
are
comfy
and
made
me
feel
like
I'd
travelled
back
to
the
60s
or
70s,
or
the
Overlook
Hotel,
or
The
Grand
Budapest
Hotel,
or
somewhere
in
the
middle.
The
food
was
very
good,
the
staff
were
quietly
attentive
and
we
were
looked
after
incredibly
well.
I
would
go
back,
and
I
would
want
to
stay
here
again.
