it's been a long time to visit Samarinda again and surprised me how this park has been improved, as an open space this park allows us to rest, workout, doing hobbies and many more with free entry fee (only parking fee) is so great. lots of tree and greenery that makes it as chilly and fresh escape.

The newest city park landmark in Samarinda City. Smoking here is prohibited under local government's law. There's no public toilet here, you need to considering it before you get here, but accessible for wheelchair.

A really good place for hangout with your friends and family. IT IS an icon of Samarinda City. The thing is it just doesn't have any street vendor that sell some drinks. I mean, you are taking a walk in a park and at some point you're gonna feel really thirsty after a long walk. So next time i came here, i hope there's gonna be a street vendor that at least selling some cold drinks. Also, the lighting around the park at night is pretty minimal, so i hope the regional government and the authorities will fix that. Besides that, The park itself is pretty beautiful, Even though it is surrounded by roundabout way

Park in the centre of samarinda. Normally people used for jogging and aerobic. There is also mosque nearby .

The night time is the best time if you'd like to see the lights and the fountain attraction.

So dark when night, the lighting just in the tower and horse statue, we just do walk around of park with the mosquitos *don't forget to used mosquitos lotion 😂 and only see the light in the middle just that, some people can seat in the bench, I hope this park can be better and more iconic place for Samarinda, soon.

best to vist after dark when lights are on for best view. However also nice to visit and relax during the day

A park in the middle of the town, its cool. But the road is very bad its like vibrating while were riding there but atleast there's some statues that you can see here and its said as "samarinda's city icon". Heres a picture seen between daylight and night.
