Sitting at the banks of Chalakudy river and enjoying the rain under the bamboo shed was a blissful experience 😇. Happy to spend a day with the traditional Keralite way of life and tastes🥰😋. Nice place for the new-gen to learn and experience our past 🛖🏺🌴🐄

Had an excellent stay with family. Beautiful location, good rooms, great food and nice hospitality. Kids get a good feel of a village setup. The river flows a few metres away and is safe for a bath. Bullock cart ride was nice. Athirapilly waterfall is a 30 min drive from here. Indian tourism has gone through a tough time and we should prefer to travel and stay in Indian destinations.

We made a direct call to the number provided and they responded promptly. There were rooms available and we paid a small amount in advance to reserve a room. Upon arrival, they compensated us for our early arrival with no issues. Their check-in is usually at 11AM, but they took us in by 9AM without any issues and quickly got us a room ready. The food is AMAZING. 10/10 absolutely loved the vegetarian variety they serve. Mind you, we didn't have options to choose from as they prepare food with available ingredients from their farm and it's really healthy. I will definitely come back just for the food. They do not have food room service, you will have to go near the reception area for having your food. The property is very well maintained with lush greenery and a river view. It's serene and peaceful to just enjoy a mesmerizing view. If you are planning to visit, and are nearby, bring your own vehicle to reduce the cost of travel. However, if you do require a vehicle for travel and exploration, the staff are more than happy to accommodate you. Suggestion - With so much space available, you can provide bicycles for the visitors to just ride around the area. It would be so much fun.

Awesome beauty

This is the second time I am visiting Rasa Gurukal. First time was few months back and it is for a family get-together. We had an amazing time at Rasa and made a good fun time at the chalakudy river( was not that deep during that time). This time I am here to celebrate Onam as well as my Father's bday. The surroundings, greenary everything is at the best. They are keeping the nature the way it is. Cleanliness is one thing you should point out here. We checkn at 11.30am and gt a fresh juice as a welcome drink. The lunch was served in plantain leaf and with authentic vegetable dishes. All vegetables were fresh and we can feel it in each morsel. We came to know that the vegtables are taken from their farm itself. The staff here always carry a pleasant smile and is always approachable. We are very happy with the hospitality in Rasa. We then enjoyed the surroundings, Bullock ride, visited the gosala, chakku etc. Unfortunately, this time we were not able to get into the river as it is overflowing. We have the freedom to pluck the fruits from the land. We got a large number of passion fruits that are plucked by us. At 4pm, we had our tea and snacks and that too was yummy. For dinner, we requested for non veg. Though the number of items served is less, the quality of the dishes is beyond words. This resort is a super location for photo shoots. My favourite place is a swing that is facing the river. Everyone should visit this place at least once.

Amazing blend of the Kerala culture Architecture and the traditional Cusines and the property is lush with greenery beside the river .staffs are extremely coordial and at your service . Food just doubles your happiness. I am glad that I could experience Rasa . Thanks to Das Sreedhar and his crew for this emotional experience which found an cherish a life time.

We were taken care of very well as guests at this riverside lodge. Most of the food prepared at the lodge is home grown and adds to the charm of the place. Wifi is only available in the common areas, so plan ahead if you have important calls or want to access information. They also have an ayurdevic spa option, so inquire about it if interested!

Absolutely amazing stay blended with nature and tasty food. We couldn’t have chosen a better place than Rasa Gurukul for our first long trip with our 8 month old baby. We enjoyed the stay and will definitely come back just for the amazing traditional food and those tasty mangoes. Special shout out to Mr. Mohit for providing a great customer service and making our stay pleasant.

Good riverside scenery and ambience, but the food was not worth the money. There was a huge function there and as a result we didn't get any attention.

I've visited Rasa several times, and each time has been a magical and sentimental experience that transported me back to my childhood summers spent at my mother's house. The management and staff genuinely want to make the visit a memorable one. Clearly they are trained so well in this Gurukul. With its lush vegetation, classic Kerala architecture, and breathtaking river vistas, the resort was simply gorgeous. I particularly liked how the resort emphasized Kerala culture and traditions by using genuine artwork and furnishings all around the place.Everything gives you a taste of a magnificent bygone age, from the paintings on the walls to the bathroom decor. Another highlight was the food. Their traditional dishes are outstanding and deserves a five-star rating for both the food and the dining experience. Overall, I can't express enough how wonderful this resort is. This resort truly has it all, whether it is to unwind and rest in a tranquil setting or immerse yourself in Kerala's rich culture and traditions. It was a truly unforgettable experience! Thank you!

Rasa Gurukul was an amazing experience. It is a tranquil environment besides the river. The staff is very helpful and goes out of the way to make you comfortable. A place which goes along with nature right by the banks of river Chalakkudy. 100s of variety trees and plants and lots of animals too.

It is situated on the banks of chalakudy puzha. The property is spread over about 25 acres of land with cow farm, organic vegetable cultivation. There is a bullock cart which reminds us of the sixties. Service by the staff is excellent. Buildings are of traditional kerala style. There are hundreds of varities of trees and plants in the property.

A good place for farm house ambience and clean organic food. Children would love this place.

We had a wonderful afternoon at Rasa with Mr. Das himself conversing with us. He is very passionate about Rasa where he want his guest to get a real feel of hospitality which we Indians are famed for rather than an artificiality we normally get from resorts etc. Mr.Das wants his guest to remember the stay at Rasa as a memory they cherish for always. The RASA situates on the banks of chalakudy river which provides a tranquility to the whole atmosphere along with natural cooling air which allow us to sit long hours in outside. Also RASA provides a calm and quite place for anybody who wants some escape from all the hectic life schedule Another best thing about RASA is FOOD. Their kitchen is most higenic and accessibly to all guests at all time. The food preparation is by best cooks who are the best in local cuisines and in my experience the food is really goes to your soul rather than stomach. Its soo yummy and delicious, I had taken atleast three servings if not more at that time.😍😅 Overall it was a best afternoon with RASA family we had

Brilliant stay! The resort is surrounded by greenary and houses different elements of a kerala village experience. We were taken on a bullock cart for the last 100 meters to the resort as a start to the village experience. Food is prepared with vegetables and spices sourced from their farms and are healthy as well as delicious! Lots of area to go around for a stroll and explore different varieties of vegetables and flowers. Tea was served to us in a shed overlooking the river. Wonderful experience!
