Deer park is in the middle of Sambalpur town. As buses are not allowed inside city, you can go by auto with a fare around 20 to 40 rupees. With this fare you can not go to the front of deer park. So, you have to walk around 2.5km to 3km. It is on slightly hilly area. So, the total walk duration can be around 20 to 30minute. If you do not want to walk, you can reserve an auto to go to front of deer park. At front there is ticket counter and information center by ecotourism odisha/Hirakud wildlife division. I love this place ❤️. When you visit deer park 🦌 next time, share your experience with me 😊 If you like my details description, please like 👍 my profile. Thank you 😊💓

Deer Park in Sambalpur offers a serene and picturesque escape for couples, especially in the morning. The tranquil ambiance and lush greenery make it a delightful spot for a romantic outing. The natural beauty of the park is truly captivating, and it provides a wonderful setting for couples to enjoy quality time together. However, one drawback that needs improvement is the maintenance of the park's facilities, particularly the toilets. Visitors may find the lack of well-maintained restrooms inconvenient. Addressing this issue would enhance the overall experience for visitors and ensure a more comfortable visit to this otherwise charming park.

Good to say a Micro Zoo not a Deer Park. A good place to visit in Sambalpur. A Forest Range Office is inside the Park. It is a very clean and well maintained deer Park. Due to established in a remote corner of the Sambalpur City less visitors comes to the park. Parking Fees is only 10 INR which should be increased. Parking facilities and Wheel Chair entrance is there. Good place to bring Children. Animals like Spotted Deer, Barking Deer, Sambar, One Sub Adult Leopard, three Sloth Bears, Civet Cats, Mangoose, three Indian Rock Python snakes, Indian Fox, Jungle Cat, Parakeets, Peacocks, Doves, Pet Bird, Aquariums etc. are there to see.

Immerse yourself in the wonders of nature at this incredible place teeming with animals and birds. It's a true sanctuary where you can witness the beauty of wildlife up close. What sets this place apart is the thoughtful inclusion of a playground for kids, ensuring that the whole family can enjoy a memorable visit. I'm particularly excited about the diverse range of programs they now offer, including captivating storytelling sessions for kids. It's a fantastic opportunity for children to learn and be entertained simultaneously. As an adult, you'll also find solace in this natural haven, as you can take leisurely walks and reconnect with nature's tranquility. This place is a must-visit for anyone seeking a harmonious blend of education, recreation, and serenity.

Deer Park, as its name suggests you may think of a large population of deer living in the wilderness and that's true. But not only deer , there is a huge collection of wild animals and birds such as bears , leopard , peacock , cobra and more. The entire area, covered with green vegetation, colourful plants, cool atmosphere along with its clean tracks make the park even more attractive. It's one of the wonderful places in Sambalpur !
